Indrau followed the paladin over to the wounded bandit. An outburst like that was out of character and he was expecting trouble. At least she hadn't gone after the Cal girl. The time after he had joined the knights had been dark and uncertain.

Thought shorter than the paladin, he interposed himself between Tyeathe and the bandit. Maybe it was his morals or perhaps his gallantry. Either way he felt the need to put himself between them. Indrau hooked her elbow with the crook of his cane and grabbed the red scarf around her neck, glaring with his one good eye.

"No. Not like this. You're angry and not thinking right. These people were careful enough to slaughter everyone at the fort, there's no way they would be so lax as to reveal their identity to these people. We need to find out where they were meeting."

He pointed with his cane back at Veileena.

"And take her with us."

He left the rooftop manor for one in a very different locale. This revelation that the nightmare was being weaponized was quite troubling. He'd been known for selling things for most of the gangs, the Himuras included. It only made sense for him to make his way there with some haste.

Blitz came down in a much more restrained manner than he had for the initial meeting, hands raised up as he stepped lightly down onto the street in front of the guards. He could have planted himself right in front of the front door if it wasn't likely that they'd have mined it with several dozen pounds of military grade explosives. Unwelcome guests would be dealt with harshly and Blitz wanted very badly to not be included in that group.

"Hey, it's me. Blitz. I know it's been a while."

He opened his visor and looked at the brandished weapons. Large goons in foreboding overcoats were nice and all, but pistols and submachine guns weren't really all that intimidating.

"Really guys, who sold you that stuff? Get some full caliber assault rifles here, big coats like that should hide them well enough. I think I have a grenade launcher too."

His voice turned hard and businesslike in an instant.

"I'm not here for that though. Any chance I can speak to the boss?"

"You've got that right. I just got into town and decided to look for some work."

She swirled her drink around for a moment and took a sip before continuing.

"And I hear that you're having trouble finding reliable help. I think that myself and a few of my friends could help you out with that."
@TheFake@SilverDawn I wouldn't mind hanging out already though I'd also like the idea of "just meeting" Natala and try myself on Liza's heart going doki doki and engaging yandere mode aka writing with her.

Either would be cool with me.
So how aware of their abilities would everyone be? Some are obviously spellcasters but what about the others? Or do they have to pick up their guild cards to find out?

"Oh, that much should be perfect. Did you want to eat on the rooftops so we can keep an eye out for the missing girl?"

He looked up at the top of the building. It would be easy to climb up there, even carrying someone. Dojima, he was sure, would be able to make it up there on his own. His presence also solved another problem. He couldn't exactly climb with his hands full.

"Hey Dojima, could you hold these too while I climb up?"

She calmed down a bit in the magazine shop, browsing through the latest issues. She'd given a couple interviews in the last month and she always made an effort to buy a copy of whatever they appeared in, both magical girl and literary publications. So maybe Shizuri had a bit of a narcissistic streak.

It really was a bad idea for her to have come out here. There really were too many people. But the nearest convenience store had been destroyed and this seemed like the next best choice.

She had picked up one issue that had published an interveiw and another that had a review of her last published book when another girl entered the store. Shizuri tucked the magazines under her arm and moved to the backside of the display where back issues were kept.

Earlier

Ian had woken up maybe a bit earlier than usual which was much earlier than most tended to wake. Even as a cleaner he still found other ways to keep busy, ways that were within his old line of work. This time though he was more subdued with his dealings, doing smaller and safer jobs that would escape the notice of law enforcement. Mostly.

Now he was eating his breakfast, or perhaps it was lunch. It wasn't much, just coffee and toast with marmalade. Ian never ate heavy before he expected action, though it was refreshing to know for sure that there was going to be action. Too many times in the past he had gone entire days with that uncertainty as to whether or not there was going to be a fight.

after draining the last of his coffee and putting his mug and plate on the counter he grabbed his helmet from the seat he had been sitting adjacent too and walked outside.

It was time to go to work.

Blitz had come down from the sky like a thunderbolt, not as fast as he might have like but enough for a small sonic boom to announce his arrival. If only he hadn't been among the first to arrive. The flight was taken slow but was much faster than moving over the ground. It wouldn't have been good to shatter windows on his commute.

The display with the box was slightly unnerving but he took it in stride, as usual.

"Good call with the plastic. A friend of mine had a guy murdered on his couch once, had to throw it out... he's dead now too."

Blitz paused for a second to think things over. It didn't exactly seem like the way a nightmare might operate, more the work of some sick and twisted mage.

"So how do you know that it's a Nightmare then? Any witnesses?"

Well this bit sort of suggest that fairies would be able to sense the magic of a magical girl while they are untransformed since they were able to sense the potential of their own magical girl partner before said partner was a magical girl... Unless of course being turned into a magical girl seals away whatever energy a girl with potential is emitting thus making them unremarkable to whatever senses the fairies are using to detect them in the first place...

Essentially the problem I'm having is if I should consider the possibility that Marza would be able to sense the fact that for example Akane is the Magical Girl from the fight before as an interactive option...

It does say potential so that's really all. there could be a hundred girls in that merketplace with the potential but there would be no way of knowing which ones are actually magical girls.
