— Festival Rooftops —

By the time he neared the giant teddy bear he was as large as a small car and moving nearly as fast as one. With a growl that echoed through the district he tackled it with his shoulder and latched on with his teeth, tearing away at it's opposite shoulder.

— Italian Resturaunt —

Shizuri nodded. She knew who the Major was, well before she'd introduced herself. It would only be polite that she introduce herself as well. She looked down at the table as she spoke.

"I'm Himura Shizuri. And I know well who the Major is. You found me in that kind of magazine shop."

She stopped talking for several seconds.

"I'm afraid I won't be much good for conversation."

— Modern Fantasy, Beach —

He nodded and handed the soldier his rifle. It was much too long to conceal and would draw far too much attention. For most purposed his dueling pistols would be more than enough. The only thing that would be a threat from the kind of distance a rifle would warrent would be another powder mage.

"I think that we may be done here then."

He started off along the beach towards the academy. Tamas never held much stock in gods and the idea of entering a temple was not appealing in the least.

— Unspecified —

The previous knight had been an entire series of unexpected events. So here he was on the upper floor of a warehouse that he owned in a very convoluted and roundabout way. On the table in front of him lay an array of weapons much more useful than the small pistol from the night before. With a small smile on his face and watched by the pair of men standing by the doorway he made his selection and put the pair into a large sized camera bag with the Canon logo on the front.

— Shrine —

The old man showed up, though withiout the bag. It had occured to him that he did not even own a camera to complete the disguise and Donald send one of his associates to find a suitable expensive one for him. He was now late, but it was better to be late and prepared. Until reaching the shrine he had a grin plastered on his face like a tourist but it quickly disappeared upon coming across the group, to be replaced with his usual carefully good natured expression.

"It looks like we have some work this morning."

— Convenience Store —

Haruko took the bread and walked up to the counter, pulling out a handful of coin from her bag and sorting out the correct amount.

"Sure, that sounds great."

She put the rest of the coins away along with the bread and lifted the bag onto her shoulder. Haruko didn't really know the other student that well either.

"Well, I think a movie might be a bad idea, but anything else sounds good."

— Mages College —

He followed along with the party moving the skeleton to the mages college. Given the colleges recent record, he didn't entirely trust them to take care of things if it decided to rise. Indrau didn't trust them to report all of what they found out, especially if one of their own were involved as well. He also wanted to be on hand if Lady Tyeathe had any interesting observations.

As he walked the halls, spells in progress inexplicably became more difficult or even outright failed nearby him.

— Candaeln —

She nodded and replied with a firm tone. "I may have missed that, this is not my native language."

Salz liked this 'Vizer' and his very candid attitude.

As the Captain entered, Salz dropped to one knee and placed her helmet on the ground. Even so, her eyes were level with Fanilly's. She recognized her from descriptions in the letters she had received over the last several years. She waited, considered the issue brought by Livius to be more important than herself.
— Natala and Liza —

Natala faced after the departing monster, resting the tip of her sword on the ground. Her ears still rang painfully from earlier. She pointed after it and tilted her head quizzically.

As Liza collected herself after escaping close death from the beast’s charge the masked woman looked up; making sure if Natala was alright and, if not, running a hundred methods of torture through her mind for the Rift Beast. Alas, her worry was for nothing. Clearly, she seemed alright.

Still, neither of them were able to hear so… did Natala really want to go after it? Seeming like they had all time in the world Liza actually pulled out a piece of paper before she started to scribble something with one of her many drawing utensils.

It were simple, but beautiful, letters. It was clear that Liza had experience in this. If Natala could even read.

‘You want to go after it?! Why?’

Natala looked at the paper and shook her head before repeating the gesture and head tilt. It was frustrating, not being able to communicate. She banged her fist on her thigh before turning and walking off after the rift best. At the very least she could catch a glimpse of whatever had captured its attention so totally. Natala was also confident that she would be able to escape it.

Liza sighed. Whatever Natala’s plan was, the Artist would protect her - thus, following closely behind.
