Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Oh, okay then. I'll probably hold off on making another character for now though :)
David smiled at the girl who had suddenly shown up. If he was startled, he didn't show it. He followed her silently, looking around the place like a tourist, and generally admiring the mansion. It wasn't any place he was used to living in, that was for sure. The reason he was here was obvious of course: He wanted to apply to be part of Steel Fish. Of course, that part wasn't guaranteed, and David knew for a fact that he wasn't very good working in groups for several reasons, but he figured that he'd have an easier time operating with an organization of good merit supporting him. Besides, having someone to watch your back was always a dream of his. When the two of them neared the courtyard and the girl introduced herself as Rinko, David gave a small grin and introduced himself as well. "Nice to meet you, Rinko . . . san. It is '-san' right? Anyway, it's nice to meet you," he said, looking down at her and bowing slightly. Seriously, he'd heard that the members of Steel Fish were mostly preteens like him, but Christ she was tiny. Not like that was going to change the facts about her though. She was still one of the most dangerous heroes in the world to face. David wouldn't forget that. "I assume this 'Lizzie' person is one of the people fighting there?" he asked, pointing at the courtyard. "Or is it that one girl standing to the side there?"
Actually, I'm waiting to see if @Eklispe is going to react to my posts. If not, then I'll go on ahead :) Sorry if I'm holding you up though.
A'right :D
Name: David Alexander Robin Alias: Legacy Age: 17 Gender: Male Race: Human Power(s)/Equipment: Outwardly, David/Legacy's only ability is a superhuman body (super strength, regeneration when resting, durability, stamina, etc.) and a strong mental defense, however, his true ability - which he keeps a closely guarded secret - is the ability to absorb the full powers, skills and abilities of a person upon their death. There are restrictions to who's powers/abilities he can absorb:
  • Those he absorbs from must have clear, unobscured knowledge of his ability*
  • He must have their permission to absorb their ability prior to their deaths. This permission is valid until taken back*
  • Must be within 3 sq.km of each other for the absorption to take place
*An exemption to these rules is if the person/people in question were extremely close to David personally - enough to want to sacrifice their life for him. Appearance (I'll probably add a picture later): Short black crew-cut hair and black eyes. Though his body is imposing, standing at a good 213.57cm in height and with thick, burly muscles, in contrast he has a gentle face. Outside of critical situations, David always has a distant look about him, as if he isn't fully there. He has plenty of scars littered around his body, which is why he usually wears long sleeved shirts or windbreakers. His costume is fairly simple looking - a navy-blue hiking jacket with black gauntlets and jogging pants. He wears a dull white mask on his face that has the reflection capacity of a mirror.
Trivia:
  • Despite his friendly personality, he doesn't work well with groups
  • He's pretty dense at some points
  • Currently holds the strength and fortitude 3200 people
  • He's a pretty mean cook
Making a character for this right now :3 Quick question: Is the Steel Fish an all-girls hero team only? Or did that change with their recruitment drive?
You place @whoeveryouwanttotag in between brackets '[ ]'
@floodtalon Meruin nodded. "Yes, sometimes Grimoire's take shapes other than books, though I am surprised that yours took the form of a tarot deck. It doesn't seem like it fits you," said Meruin. She practically ignored Alex disappearing and turned her attention to the fight. "They have some unique abilities," said Meruin, analyzing them critically, "though they did go a bit far for a simple practice match." This, of course, was coming from the girl that did much worse during her very first fight - which was also a practice match. Sol and Ryan would recall the cracking of the ground, the pouring of lava, and of course, the meteors. Who could forget the meteors?
@whiteprophet Seren jumped in reaction to the three arrows. Though surprised, her reaction time was enough to keep up with their flight, and if there was one thing she was proud of, it was how fast she could summon her shields. Almost immediately, the targets of the bows were protected from the arrows by small head-sized bucklers. "Well, I don't have any tricks, but I do my best with the one I have," said Seren serenely.
@Dash375 Daaaaaaaash~! Yes I remember you :D Glad to see you're back on board :3
