On The First Day waited patiently for more people to arrive. Still though, this was quite the group that she had to manage - she had no idea how the protagonists were chosen from normal people, but she would trust Gods will. Well, she had to, considering that right now her team was looking very shaky.
She could feel their hearts and minds and they were all . . . special, to say the least. They were all disturbed in their hearts to some measure. She hoped that she could find a way to help them, not because they would be helping her in turn, but because she had to. Such was her duty as a messanger of Heaven.
On The First Day opened her mouth to speak, when an arguement between two of her chosen broke out. Oh dear, that wasn't good.
She clapped her hands softly, but the sound rang throughout everyones ears, breaking their thoughts and focusing their attention on her. She smiled in turn and decided it would be best to start explaining now.
On The First Day stood and unfurled her wings to their maximum length - they were at least twice the length of a human adult, and gave a deep bow. Her halo was glowing brightly as she did so. Her presence inspired a kind of familiar warmth, the kind every child feels in the presence of their mother; calm, safe from harm, a protective existance.
"Good evening, my Lords and Ladies. Thank you all for coming at this humble ones request. No doubt you are confused and have questions, so allow this one to answer them.
"My name is not one you can pronounce or understand, however I have been referred to by your ancestors as On The First Day. I am an Angel of Heaven, tasked with overseeing the flow of the universe, an existence that some of you may know as a Virtue."
On The First Day paused, waiting to see if there would be any reactions. There was a lot of info to give, but giving it all to them at once would be bad - there was only so much a person could process at a time.

Meruin raised a brow. "Are you sure? I haven't even explained the nature of the tests. Do not get me wrong; I am glad you accepted, but this whole affair has become needlessly complicated."
Why it became complicated, Meruin left unsaid, but her pointed look at Pamela was a dead giveaway.

"Are you making this difficult on purpose?" stated Meruin bluntly. The girl was starting to get on her nerves, mostly because she was very loud. "This is a matter between me and Mr. Cruz, if you want to get involved, I will not stop you, but kindly have the sense of grace to at least be polite and tone down your volume, otherwise I will disregard everything you have to say."

"Her conviction is admirable," said David, replying to Yamimori. "As is her abilities. I don't think I've ever fought anyone who's used ice before."
David looked on with interest. Akai's ability to control the flow of the fight via her ice was more than a little impressive. Still, Keith himself was doing an excellent job in making sure the flow didn't completely go her way, through the virtue of sheer power and speed.
Akai then froze Keith with a flare of her runes, and David had to hold back an impressed whistle. He had to see how Keith would get out of that . . . actually, wait never mind, it was entirely possible for him to get out, if he could somehow manage to use that teleportation of his. The chance was slim, but still there.
In the meantime, David looked at the rest. "So, who's planning to go next?"

Meruin frowned. "I assure you, whatever my intent, what I have planned may benefit the both of us," she stated. She gave a questioning look to Cruz. "I'm afraid she's an unfamiliar face to me, Mr. Cruz. Is she yours, or is she playing a joke on you too?"
She was referring to her interaction earlier with Sol and Cornelia, but of course, neither of them knew that.
"And yes, Ryan. I offered to preform a few . . . tests for Mr. Cruz, not on. I'm quite generous, aren't I?" said Meruin in an awkward attempt to make her offer seem better.

On being a co-GM, I'm up for it. And personally, I can't wait to do team fights. That was one thing we weren't able to do last time on the RP :)
