Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Gonna get a character sheet up if you people don't mind :D

Summary: There are seven schools of magic, however the focus will be the one on the Asian contingent, which is set in a large island somewhere in the South China Sea. Every school and continent comes with varying problems and the focus of this RP is interacting with the environment and developing your characters enough to meet the challenges they will face. There is an underlying plot, however that will come out over the course of the story.

So, another Fantasy School RP, yay!

The RP is high-fantasy in the modern era. The elements of fantasy are kept away from 'normal' society using some method or the other. In any case, the main point is how am I planning to make this different from other fanta-school RP's? Here's a few key points:

  • The survivability of your character largely relies on how much he or she has learned, so basically, classes and lesson are actually important!
  • Classes are not done in a regular school format. It's follows a more 'college' setting and the classes you attend are the ones you think are necessary. There are no grades here, however there are proficiency tests that you will need to take in order to gain access to higher graded lessons and books/scrolls/tomes/ingredients, etc.
  • Graduation is achievable within the course of the RP and can be a suitable goal for your character. Graduation allows you to cut ties with the school and allows for a wider range of exploring, basically making an already large sand-box RP even bigger. Graduation does not have a specific date and can happen at any time, however there is a proficiency test and requires the approval of at least one Master rank.
  • A wide, wide world to explore, even if it's in our own.

There are a lot more things, such as mechanics, locations, important NPC's and Beasts, but i'll first see if at least three (3) people are interested. If I can get that much quickly enough, then I'll update it here :)

Still interested! Sorry, I just forgot to subscribe here so I completely missed you posting the OOC >_<

I'll get started on my character soon!
Meruin had a vacant look on her face, as if she were half-asleep. In actuallity, she had placed an illusion on herself using her grimoire and was attempting to break out of it. It was a regular kind of training for her whenever she had short amounts of free time. In the illusions she placed on herself, time moved differently; four days could have passed inside the illusion when only a few minutes went by in the real world.

The only way to break her out of the illusion was if you entered it yourself or if Meruin succeeded in dismantling it. Or if you were Marcus just cancel it out by tapping her on the forehead.
@floodtalon

Meruin gave a small nod and took the seat next to Ryan. As far as she was concerned, she could sit anywhere, but sitting with a friend was much better that just anywhere. As she did, Meruin detected a faint but slowly growing amount of blood lust.

She frowned and looked for the source. She found it quickly enough (there was only one person so far releasing killing intent, though it seemed she would be joined by another, soon) and immediately recognized. It was coming from Sol's not-wife, the one she vaguely suspected would challenge her soon.

Should she do something about this? She wasn't doing anything so far, but blood lust meant aiming to kill. Her status as a Council Member aside, Master Reina would string her up if she found out she could have prevented a death but didn't.
@ScorpionLantern

No I haven't. Yes you're welcome. No you cannot be awake this early in the morning. Yes you can prepare for your final exams. Yes, fine, you can have some free time, happy? :D

Oh, and get an avatar already.
@whiteprophet

While the Error was falling, Seren encased its body in various shields. Even if it wanted to, it wouldn't be able to break out, now with its strength and certainly not from the inside. The moment the massive bulk hit the ground, the shield formation contracted, leaving everything but its head exposed.

This was another lesson that Seren quickly learned when it came to hunting Errors: double-tap. Never leave everything to chance, or else.
Meruin paused to listen to the announcement. It seemed that that class roster had finally been decided . . . and she was stuck with most of the Student Council. Hardly surprising considering that she was one, but Meruin knew there was only one way for that many strong and clashing personalities to end up: utter, complete chaos. It wouldn't happen immediately, but it would happen, that was certain.

She watched as Cruz and his harem walked away. She sighed, but she decided to save her intrigues for later. For now she had a class to get to.

She turned to face Ryan. "I'll inform you when it begins."

Meruin took a single bound and her surroundings changed instantly. She knew where class one was and therefore knew where she needed to change her surroundings. Meruin was now inside Class One, at the very front of the room.

She noticed several people already inside, most of them she recognized.
Keith got caught in Akai's trap - which happened to involve encasing him in ice. From thereon it was apparent who the winner was. Well, it was apparent to everyone but Keith, anyway. It seemed the man refused to admit defeat. Overall, he found the man to be rather child-like about the whole affair.

What was more interesting in Davids opinion, however, was the callous way that Ant Girl broke Keith out of the ice - along with several bones. The interest stemmed from the speed in which regenerated himself afterwards; it was like nothing happened. Davids own regeneration couldn't compare to that in the least - he had to be unconscious for it to even work, and it took much longer for him to heal. Keith's kind of health factor was A-class, definitely.

"Of course?" said David, frowning. For some reason, it seemed like Casper had something against him, which was strange considering he hasn't even spoken two sentences to the guy. He would have gone on to explain that he had already been in several fights, but it was at that moment that Akai collapsed.

Listening to Yamimori's explanation on the circumstance behind her collapse, David began to doubt the feasibility of allowing either of the two siblings to go all-out with their powers.

Shaking his head, David kept it to himself. They had a better grasp on their own limitations than he did, after-all. He kept silent as Casper and Keith prepared to fight, although he did chuckle a bit internally at Keith's :My Chemical Romance' jab - he had to admit that Casper looked the part.
