Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

Appearance:
Long straight blonde hair that reaches slightly past her waist and usually gets in the way of her eyes. She has a heart shaped face with chocolate brown eyes and has distinctively long and thin eyebrows, which she dislikes being pointed out. In terms of attire, she prefers to wear long white sundresses.

Name:
Adeen Lily (of) Eithrear

Age:
12

Gender:
Female

Birth Place:
Atticus

Weight:
41 kg (91 lbs)

Height:
129.7 cm (4'2'')

Personality:
As bright and warm as the fire she uses, Adeen is energetic, loyal, stubborn, and all-in-all the kind of child that looks like she was born to be alive. She is a bit naive, owing to her age, and not the least bit given in the way of intelligence, but she has suprisingly good insticts and her straightforward and child-like viewpoint of the world gives her a different and often times excellent insight into worldy matters. She prefers playing over work, of course, but if you ask her nicely and give her treats, then she might comply to your requests, and even then she might still not do it - she has a horribly short attention span. Adeen has a habit of giving names to her 'special-moves'; often times they are horrible.

Bio:
Adeen was born into the main house of clan Eithrear, a clan long known for producing excellent Wielders, though they are proudest of their Mind Wielders. Even before she was born, there were signs that Adeen was special. When she was in her mothers womb, things around her mother would spontaneously combust and burn - even things that made no sense, such as plates and marble. Her mother herself suddenly became a dual-wielder of mind-fire, despite being 25 years old already and never showing signs of proficiency in fire. Adeen was the sixth daughter of the clan Matriarch and when she was born, the first thing she did was yawn. The second thing she did was set her nurse on fire (don't worry, she lived) When she was three years old, Adeen crawled into the fireplace while no one was looking. The family nursemaids found her asleep there three hours later, completely unharmed by the flames.

As she grew up, people came to realize that not only did Adeen love fire, fire loved her back. She wielded fire like it she breathed air, and had the precision and skill of wielders far older than her - the only drawback was how childish she was with her abilities, however, it was that same childish naivete and innocence prevented her from realizing just absurd her power really was. To her, she just did it, and that was all the logic she needed.

When Adeen turned eleven, the clan suddenly experienced a great schism, and was split into two. The conservatives of the faction, Adeens mother and sisters, wanted to keep the old traditional ways of the clan: Their focus on Mind Wielders, their inherent Matriarchy, the separation of the different families into branches, and above all the division of the land among main house members only. The progressive faction, led by Adeens father, wanted to cut down the amount of branch families, change the division of land, and abolish the Patriarchy-Matriarchy system in favor of a senate. Both sides had their up and downs, and both sides were equally ruthless and cunning. Forseeing how long this schism would go on, Adeens mother sent her to Rohad Academy, to further her abilities and to keep her away from the other faction. It was needless to say that Adeen, given her talents, was a person with the potential to single-handedly tip the balance between the two factions, whichever side she chose.

No one realizes that Adeen could care less about either side, and just wishes she could play with her mama, papa and siblings again. If she has to burn them a little for them to realize that, then . . .

When you look at the words 'illusion' and 'reality', how does one define the difference between the two? Generally, people define illusions as a trick, a deceit, or a lie. It is something false with no real substance behind it. Reality, therefore, must surely be something that can be confirmed from all perspectives.

Such foolish concepts, no?

Reality and illusion, in truth, are separated only by the flawed perception of those that view them. Reality can become illusion from another angle and vice-versa. The inevitable conclusion to this is that whatever we view, it is reality only so long as we believe it is so. So if we believe that the world around us is an illusion, then it is so. Once we think of something as an illusion, then naturally, we seek to find 'a reality' behind it.

Effectively, everything is and isn't at the same time. It is all about perception. The perception of concepts.

Yes, that is right, it's all about perception.

Such is the mechaninc behind the second page of Meruin's Grimoire.

The short mage's eyes shot upwards, looking at the moon lying beneath the sun.

The sky turned dark with night, and where the bright sun of the afternoon was, a blurry silver moon now stood. Everything and everyone's outlines blurred. Spells faded, strength began to fade. Everything that was real has now become an illusion. Even your powers were now illusions. None of you held any meaning to the world anymore.

None of you can truly do anything permanent. The only reality here was Meruin, who saw all of you as an illusion. She could not touch you, you could not touch her or each other. When your spells ended and when you were released, even that would mean nothing. Once Meruin stopped seeing you as an illusion, you would become the reality she wanted you percieve.

Grimoire of Meruin, Second Spell: Hazy Moon

Meruin approached Deus and Cornelia, the former who was chained while the latter was still trapped in an illusion (which was an illusion within itself). The short mage had a concerned look on her face.

"Deus . . . I apologize, but so long as I am here, you will do no such thing. If . . . you should ever attempt to do so again, I will . . ." Meruin bit her lip, thinking of a way to stop him from doing so, without being unfair to Deus. She could see clearly that there was history between them, but there was no giving leeway for murder.

"If you ever attempt this again, I will take Cornelia under my wing. I will protect her and train her, and make her strong. Strong to the point where you will never be able to defeat her. I am capable of this, and I swear I will do it if you force me to."

That was not a request or even a statement. That was an ultimatum.
@BranchOfSin Naw, such a discovery must be dragged on and held until the perfect time if you want impact! If that's the angle you're going for, I suggest someone else discover her identity first~! I suggest Marcus or Cruz. In fact, the three muskatards (Marcus, Deus, Agni) can help each other with their problems. Sounds like a plot in the making :D

@Slendy That's because you keep picking wrong fights before going totally cray-cray xD
Remliel huffed. Well, whatever this girls intentions were, if she tried something on her, she would beat her down nonetheless. "Whatever you say, though there were a lot of wierdos there" she said, waving a hand. As Hikaru mentioned her throwing the truck, she grinned. To Remliel, it didn't matter who it was, compliments were compliments and she liked them.

"Well, yeah, I am pretty awesome. Didn't even need to use magic for that," she stated. "I'm Remliel. Nice to meet ya, Hikaru~"
@TheHangedMan
So she's immune to fire, can't have that unfortunately, if she is so proficient in fire, she would have been able to wield Blue fire, second stage of fire wielding
Decides that she is great.

She's not completely immune to fire - she's immune to her own fire, small fires, or at least fire that isn't being used by other wielders. As for the blue fire thing, it's her control, not her power. She uses fire instinctively, so despite her precision and talent, since she's had no formal training, she has no idea what 'blue fire' even is. It's kind of the difference between a grade-schooler who's really smart with math vs a college mathematician: The former is smarter and can calculate faster, but the college student knows more theorems and equations.

For example, she can use her fire to burn only things she wants to burn, force anything to combust (how long it takes to burn or if it will even be affected depends on the target) etc.

Does that make it less derp? :D
Meruin's eye twitched. Okay, this was really, truly getting out of hand. Marcus, Conrelia, Deus - what were these three thinking?! This was an academy, a place to learn. Sure, the battles were extravagant and chaotic, but it was all for the sake of self-improvement - or at least, to Meruin it was. To everyone else, it seemed like a chance to kill each other off.

Enough, she would not condone such foolishness anymore.

She turned to Ryan and Elza. Her normally emerald eyes were now glowing a dangerous silver. "Ryan, Elza, I apologize for my rudeness, but may I ask you to put your fight on hold for awhile? I think I feel like dealing with a certain trio first."

After her statement, a large book the size of her torso dropped in front of her and floated in front of her chest area.

"After all, it has been awhile since I've felt this displeased with someone else fighting."

Grimoire of Meruin
Remliel swung a fist at some random guy and sent him flying - because supernatural or not, Remliel was still a physical power house - right before an old man walked in on the little scuffle. Oh crap, she thought. She was here to avoid her parents, and she sure as hell didn't want them coming here because they'd heard she'd been fighting again. She decided to put her fun on hold for now.

Stepping a few meters back from the crowd, she wondered what to do next when Hikaru approached her. She raised a brow at her words. "You don't look scared to me, whoever you are, and don't think I didn't notice your little shadow play back there."

She didn't notice the coin of course, but she noticed her binding earlier, and there was no way she was going to believe that she was scared. Remliel didn't trust this person for some reason. Remliel remembered her from that scene on the bus, and vaguely recalled thinking they could be friends. As of now, that thought was nowhere to be found.
