Today's the first time in a long time that I've felt empty. Not even sad or tired, just empty. This quarantine is getting to me more than I thought.

@Jessica Bunny: You live in America! College is optional (and expensive) and around you is opportunity. I believe you can make it!

Oh, and my all-time favorite anime character is Saber from Fate/Stay Night :)
:::::::::::::::::::::
::: Deia Ticy :::
:::::::::::::::::::::

"Just . . . just wait for a little while, okay? Once everyone has picked a room, we'll be heading to the dining hall and we'll be eating..."

Deia nodded. Nina had given her orders. That made sense. Something made sense, finally. At the mention of food, Deia's head perked up. She didn't say so, but she was hungry. Deia avoided mentioning it because back then her old masters always fed her, even if they would forget for a few days. The one time Deia mentioned how hungry she was, they deliberately stopped feeding her, and they made sure that she knew it. Since then, she stopped asking when she could eat and just trusted her masters wouldn't forget.

The small esper did as ordered and just at there silently, waiting and doing nothing else. To Deia, there was a difference between 'waiting' and 'being ordered to wait', the difference being that she had to actively think about waiting and her thoughts didn't stray from her orders and into strange territory; strange territory like the thoughts she was having earlier, which, although not unpleasant, she was not sure she wanted to handle yet.

"Erm, though I do have a question," Nina started, causing Deia to stare at her once more. "Those, err, restraints are meant to weaken your powers. To what extent are you still able to use them?"

Deia tilted her head. The word 'restraint' usually had a different meaning for her, but judging from where Nina was looking, Deia concluded she must be talking about her new and uncomfortable clothes. She knew that they kept her from seeing and touching most the shiny lights but never really figured out why; her old-old masters liked it when she did so. They called it her 'power' and they always let her use it when they gave her something to do.

Still, Deia had a more important question right now . . .

"Huwat dhoesh 'eextendut' meean?"
@HylianRose CS incoming~! Unless this isn't open anymore? :3
Blanc was feeling . . . strange. That was really the only way to describe it. Every time he took another step, every time he went deeper into the woods, he could feel his spine jolt and his fingers tingle, as if electricity was running through them. His head felt warm and relaxed, but strangely sharp, sharper than usual, unusually so, in fact; Blanc wasn't much of thinker.

Eventually, he realized that the sensations he were feeling got stronger and came at increasing intervals the more he followed these tracks. In fact, when he paused to look at them for a second, his head froze for a minute as a current passed through it and his vision brightened to the point of it being blinding, like he had been in the dark for awhile and suddenly someone had flashed a light on him.

"Did I develop an allergy or something?" he wondered.

His stroll eventually took him deeper and higher into the mountain than he had ever dared to go before. He was left feeling tired after the hike, and leaned against a small withering tree to rest.

"Wha-?!" The sound of wood cracking and ground moving was all that alerted Blanc to what came next.

Unexpectedly, the ground under the tree proved loose and the tree gave way and fell down, the sudden drop causing Blanc to lose his balance and stumble down with it. He went down, left, right and generally just rolled down the ground, unable to recover, until he crashed shoulder first into the same tree that caused him to fall.

Blanc got up steadily. "Ow ow ow," he groaned, rubbing his aching - and quite possibly bruised - shoulder.

Blanc had unwittingly come close to the cabin if the Odessa pack. Not close enough for either parties to see each other, but close enough to be scented, and close enough for Blanc to here their howls.
@YamiCuoreLaroux The man didn't notice the fan as his back was turned. The hat fell clean of his head, exposing a furry pair of round ears instead of hair or a skin of head. He kept running until the police car from earlier drove in front of him.

"Sir, we ask that you please cease and desist, or else - gah!?"

The police officer asking him to stand down was unable to finish his sentence, as the large man charged straight at them and in the process of doing so, tossed aside the entire car, with them inside it.
Blanc was lost. That was bad. He was also possibly near the breeding grounds of a pack of bears - that was worse. Of course, seeing as he didn't have much knowledge of bears, not only did he not realize that the prints on the ground the wrong shape for a bear, he also did not find anything strange about bears travelling in packs.

As Blanc climbed deeper into the mountain, he had found more and more tracks. Eventually, he was beginning to realize that a few things were off. First, the tracks were all leading in the same direction, and secondly, there were small signs of humans being were he passed recently. Were they out hunting, or . . . running? Blanc sincerely hoped it was the former.

Since his treasured spot in the mountain was a bit unorthodox to get to, Blanc was used to going off the path, despite several warnings not to do so; in fact, he even enjoyed his little rebellious streak. Right now, however, he was beginning to doubt whether or not he should follow through on that - those were a lot of 'bear' tracks.

The sound of a wolfs howl entered his ears, and he turned to the direction it came from. He creased his brows as his thoughts flashed back on the human tracks he had seen. It was looking more and more likely that they were hunters tracks then. If so, that presented a bit of a problem. Right now, it wasn't hunting season, and though he wasn't aware if Colorado had any laws pertaining the hunting of bears or wolves, he was pretty sure that if it wasn't hunting season, then that was it. No hunting.'

Pursing his lips, Blanc followed the few human tracks he could, going deeper into the mountains.
@The Muse of Eru What are the chances of arriving there accidentally?
@YamiCuoreLaroux

The large man stiffened then turned back quickly upon hearing the clap behind him. He seemed to stiffen upon seeing a duplicate of himself, when suddenly he said: "No Ted, there's no one in front of you except for some guy! Wait a minute . . . Ted, get out of here, he might be a super!"

Suddenly, the man turned around and bolted, running faster than ever.
@XxFellsingxX waiting for a post from you :)
Quick question: how deep in the mountains or were is the cabin located?
