I mean unless you're talking to yourself XD Regardless I think the message is pretty clear that unreasonable criticism or distaste towards a character needs to be held in check. Appearance is important but as long as the character functions well in the roleplay it becomes secondary. I think an apology is in order but I think we can all move on from this in a mature manner

First of all grin is the artist. So that was rude. Second of all, the character is intended to not get hit, the way that Crow is, if you look at him, he has no armor. And frankly many of the characters don't stand up to much of the tech that can conceivably be leveled at them. This is a sci-fi setting and yes there is armor but more often than not getting hit in a sci-fi setting USUALLY means you're really hurt/dead. Frankly that was REALLY rude. The character is suppose to be outrageous. She has a carnival background and is a stage magician. Hence an appearance that is far more eccentric.

That is certainly the plan. We're gonna wait for Archangel and Grin to get all settled then I think we can probably start. Obviously if other people express interest we can make some allowances but im shooting to get things started soonish

If you wanted you could have it fall into the hands of the Tower of Stars and that is why the character works for them. Maybe Shard or one of the other higher ranking members picked it up during a trip/mission. That is ofcourse if you want that to be the case. If someone else would like to do it or has a better idea then by all means, im just offering so that you have a fall back if you don't get a better offer

Oh on a side note I've updated my character page to include my first character. Which leads me to the next topic. If you would like to take on more than one character I'm okay with that. Additionally I will accept new characters after we start, as well as new players so if some where down the line we get a new person or you decide you have a great idea for a character let me know

Edit: Once we have the CSs that I've okayed all posted to the character thread I'm going to move them to the first post so we have all the characters up there for each player to make navigation easy

@Vietmyke I just read through it again. Oh my god a solely Wild magic user, unique breed of Fae and he has the kind of back story that would have made Christian all but stalk him and offer him a job. Christian loves outcasts and people with a grudge. XD Your character is sweet. The only thing I'd ask is that for the magic section you just class all of his stuff as being Wild magic (just so we know). After that its all good. Also. Purely food for thought. If you want. You could include a god relation. There are a group of beings that are ALMOST gods as far as Fae are concerned. So I like the whole Art of the Way thing. So my thought was. Maybe one of the Fae lords taught his people the Art/sired this race of Fae? so you could conceivably have a Fae Lord as his god relation. Here is the tricky part right now. There are only three currently: Mab, Titania and The Erlking. If you want to use one of them I'd personally go with the Erlking since hunting and killing things are sort of his style. The other option is to do a little more leg work and come up with ANOTHER Fae Lord or Lady (Mab and Titania are female) so it would be up to you to come up with a name, flesh the being out a little and all that. Id add them to the list and you could include that with your character. As you can probably tell I've stolen liberally from folklore for the Three Fae lords I have. I was getting ready to add a fourth by the name of Oberon. If you wanted to take that and run with it or come up with something unique id be cool with that. Totally optional
