Braiuysal wasn't accepted but I didn't have a chance to look at his application yet.

Habib, your application looks good but your position has already been claimed. OOC coming up soon.

HERE IS THE OOC.

roleplayerguild.com/topics/86248-the-a..

I won't be adding anymore NPC nations. There are plenty! And besides mispelling Vatannia's nation on the Old World map, i'll leave it that way it is.
Setting up the OOC. Stay tuned!
More like the former, though I wouldn't stop anyone from RP'ing whomever they wished.
Nations with finished applications are ACCEPTED except for Braiyusal!

Here's the new map.

I'll add the NPC descriptions and such later. Serranthia map is coming along. I apologize for the delays. Once I get all the info updated on the Old World map, I'll add the New World additions and then get Serranthia up and we start.
Phenomenal post Chairman Stein. You can always upgrade to a Great Power if need be.

And yes we're still open to join! 1 more COMPLETED app and the game begins, January 1st, 1836 with a.. Crisis. Mwahaha.
That's fine Hockeystyle! Skeptoni can indeed be a Great Power!

I'll be adding descriptions in a bit, and the Serranthian map as well.

Need 2 MORE GREAT POWERS and the game can begin.

ADDED:
-- Kingdom of Osteria description
-- Kingdom of Skeptoni moved to GREAT POWER.
New map up!

New NPC nations up!

I'll change the Western Sides map tomorrow to add the Amazons!
Also the new map is up. New NPC nations are up. Still working on the Serranthian continent map.
I was actually building my society in a way where they have not actually had a run-in with the Old World powers yet, though may have had second-hand interactions via Dedonus. Also, is there any particular reason as to why it is that they can't "westernize" as it were? Or is it a matter of this world's version of innate European superiority for "reasons"?

If you are a Non-Great Non-Western Power you can certainly westernize, just expect for it to take decades as your people attempt to shrug off tradition and decadence.

I'm reviewing the applications to see if any others are finished. Once five players have completed theirs, I'll add the relevant NPC nations and start the IC thread.

Industrialization will be a factor as well in the game, this will be reflected in the Year of 1836 Event post when the game begins. Hehehe. But anyway.

Boletarian Commonwealth is a unified blob of homogeneous people with a massive army, an abyssmal navy and lacking in many industrial resources except arable land.

The Kingdom of Nehelania application is finished and he'll be added to the map soon. He did some awesome history adding in with the NPC nations which I dig!

We're so close to beginning.
It would be remiscnient of Sub-Sahara Africa in the 1820's-1830's. Like the Mamlukes.

Obviously Serranthians and civilizations in the New World are aware that there exists the Old World and they have brought guns and germs with them, but they have neither the infrastructure nor ideology to advance their own culture to match it.
