Hello everyone. My name is Sky, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
I was recently introduced to this site by a friend of mine after I expressed that I was having some serious cravings for some good Roleplay after a long hiatus from anything that wasn't a LARP, and especially missing the more free-form and storytelling nature of a Forum-based RP. I have a pretty eclectic range of tastes, and as such am always willing to at least consider most different types of stories to explore.
Some information about me: I've been Roleplaying for over a decade now, both online and in person, primarily through TTRPG and Forum-style RPs like this one, and I've really gotten into LARPing the past few years. I'm very passionate about RP, and it's one of my all-time favorite pass-times. I am also an avid participant in the following fandoms:
1. The Wandering Inn 2. D&D/Pathfinder 3. Marvel/DC 4. Lord of the Rings 5. A Song of Ice and Fire 6. Pokemon 7. Fire Emblem 8. A ton of different Anime, I can't begin to list them all 9. An equally long list of Modern Fantasy novel series.
As far as specifically roleplaying, here are a few basics for me:
1. I am strictly an 18+ Role-player. This is not to indicate a specific interest in sexual themes, but I tend to prefer stories that either embrace or at least do not shy away from heavily adult themes. If you have any specific triggers, please notify me in advance and I will be sure to avoid those at all costs. 2. I would quantify myself and my preference as falling squarely in the "Advanced" category. If you usually give me a paragraph or less, it's not going to inspire much of a response from me. I don't need a full novella for every post, but some clear effort and co-operative storytelling is key. 3. Romance: This is not a mandatory inclusion for me in any story, a great number of my favorite RPs I've ever done had none at all. If you wish to include it, I prefer for it to occur naturally, instead of pre-establishing a forced romance before RP has begun. 3a. Sexual Themes: Similar to Romance, if it is to be included, I prefer for it to occur organically. I rarely will seek out an RP with the exclusive purpose of this type of engagement. I can FTB or write it out as my partner prefers, I have no preference. 4. I prefer to play Male characters, though I can play either, but I do not think I can do Female characters proper justice. As such, if you are looking for Romance or Sex, I will play a Male role, as I can do that the most authentically. 4a. Pairings: If Romance/Sex are to be involved, I prefer M/F pairings. 5. Genre: I have an extremely eclectic taste in genres, with the only ones I tend to avoid being Sci-Fi, Steampunk, and Horror, as they do not particularly intrigue me. I also have very little interest in any PVP style RP, as I've had more than my fill of that over the years and I no longer find it interesting. As far as a specific current desire, I'm desperately hoping to find someone who is familiar with The Wandering Inn and is interested in a 1x1 RP in that setting. I am an extremely avid fan, if you aren't familiar, I recommend it to one and all, but this is my current largest desire.
