The mystery character could be anyone. Probably Tam, but it could form an entrance for any characters.
Critical damage detected. Central nervous clusters inactive, significant physical damage detected. Minor damage detected to cognitive systems. Major damage detected to left arm.

Initiating automatic repair functions....

The silence that was now so prominent around what had once been the Cargo Bay stood in stark contrast to the noise that had thundered through it mere moments before. Memories were fuzzy, however. Damage had been dealt to the Cognitive Functions - it would most likely never entirely recover those memories. A small part of the ancient warrior mourned the loss of this small part of itself, even as the more practical parts of it's brain told it these memories were of no great importance.

Slowly, microscopic unspecified stem cells began rebuilding the complex organic structure of the Central Nervous system, as signals were redirected and muscles were brought back into operational state. Sensory organs besides hearing came back online, as a blurry and then focused image of the scene around Achilles came into view.

The ship had been torn apart. The lasers themselves had dealt only relatively little damage, dealt some blows to the hulls and to the engines. But the descent through the atmosphere, the failure of the Grav-Engine, and the failure of the Warp Drive had collaborated in a series of events that had annihilated most of the ship's armoured hull. Twisted steel and sparking cables lined the ground and ceiling, and Achilles was given a rather nice view of the sky through an almost perfectly cylindrical hole.

Basic Functionality restored, status considered operational.

With a sound akin to a long, guttural groan the biomechanical death machine stood. It's left arm had been ripped off, most likely by an impact with a large, sharp sheet of metal - potentially he had even been directly hit by one of the Laser Cannons equipped on the smaller raider ships that had pursued them. However, already a small stump had formed - given time and energy, it would reform. For the most part, he was intact and ready to go, although he would need to restock on energy soon. Seeing as how the situation was now, the best option was most likely to attempt to siphon as much energy as possible from the remains of the ship's engines. This would allow Achilles to return to a fully operational status, after which he could worry about the rest.

For a moment, the more human part of his mind considered the 50 to 60 people that had shared the ship with him. They had most likely been crushed to a pulp during the landing. If not, they would have been torn to pieces by the large shreds of metal, or burned to death in the leaking heat from the Engines, which had been Fusion-powered. There would be few survivors, if any.

What did it matter? This group of people had been one of many, to be utilized and then left behind as they fell. He had left fields of corpses far larger, and far more gruesome. And yet, he still lingered, just for a moment.

Sounds detected. Possible lifeforms in proximity.

Turning, Achilles moved forward, kicking down the steel walls of the ship that got in his way. Sound and heat could be detected coming from underneath a thick pile of twisted metal and electronics. Thoughts of recharging were lost, despite the practical part of his brain demanding that he perform maintenance first. Utilizing his superhuman strength to great effect, Achilles attempted to clear the debris from the ground, hoping to find a living member of the crew still intact.

In the distance, an explosion sounded. It was loud and clear, no aftereffect, none of the shrieking of Fusion Explosives. It was a C4 blast, centralized and focused to penetrate the ship's Blast Doors. There were intruders. Just another fact to store.

Combat capabilities are sub-optimal

Well, he wouldn't need optimal. All he needed was to get whomever this was out of the rubble. After he had completed that task, he would continue to fight however many battles were needed. But somehow, escape seemed rather pointless if he, once again, would be the sole survivor of this ever-so-unfortunate mercenary group.
@Wraithblade6
Yes, Shiva is in the Centre of the planet. Asura was the one that found Genocide there, and first discovered the Deamon. However, he stated he portalled out, which he's now retracting. Also, name changes!
No, not at all. Post directly into Characters.
Sorry, I did not intend to come off as angry. I simply really like the concept to this roleplay, and I would hate to see it die down. And you keep seeming to disappear.

Sorry if I came off as angry.
Post Character Sheets here, and nothing else. No chatting in the Characters tab!

Wedged in between Hell and Earth, this great city is home to the magical center of the world. It is a nation in and of itself, free from the authority of any Earth government, or the great Demon Princess. A world in between, where man and demon can walk beside one another as equals. A place where the paranormal is normal, and where superheroes gather. This place, this city of wonder and awe, is where you are headed, or perhaps where you live.

The Age of Gods is long past, and mankind is still adapting to it's newfound freedom. New 'Gods' are being born yet, humans with powers beyond what should be possible. Wanted by every nation, they flock to Aegis, where they are welcomed. Here, they are free. And yet, those who come here to seek freedom range from the heroic to the vicious. Heroes to be make their refuge here, but so do those who seek to escape from international law.

In this city of Heroes and Villains, the future will be determined.

@Teoinsanity

Time travel is almost always expressly forbidden, because it gets exceedingly complex. Furthermore, if I give you guys access to time travel then the options are limitless.

PM me the details if you want to try this, and I'll tell you whether or not I'll allow it to even happen. Akihisa Yoshi will determine whether he wants his characters revived in such a fashion.

I'm willing to be lenient in the revival of Creed, as I killed him off by accident. Other characters will not receive such treatment, a special quest will need to be performed just for the purpose of reviving them.

@Akihisa Yoshii
Creed may be revived, and you may throw in any number of other characters. Including your version of Castiel. If you want, you could throw in a nerfed version of Death.
Gabriel nearly exploded, as Mithias reached forward, as sudden silence fell to undermine Mithias' dripping words. The city came to a grinding halt, cars skidding to a stop, as hundreds stood on the brink. A thousand pair of eyes, staring directly at Mithias as he spoke, insults echoing from the silent faces of the buildings. And yet, he never finished, as Gabriel spoke. Not in a huff, not with raised voice and anger, but quietly, nearly whispering. In such a manner that Mithias stopped speaking simply to hear what was said. "Do you think I do not realize my own ineptitude? Do you think that I am your father, simply because I gave you new life? I am not your relative, by blood or otherwise, for I cannot know you." Gabriel looks up, and his eyes are broken. For the eyes of the vampire were proud eyes, arrogant eyes even, that looked down on the world and all inside of it. The eyes that looked at Mithias then were not the eyes of the Vampire Lord, that arrogant and capricious being, who had held the world in the palm of his hand.

They were the eyes of a very, very old man.

"I cannot know you, I cannot love you, and I cannot save you. I cannot be anything to you, because to me you can only be nothing. For when I look at you, I see not a vampire, I see not a youth, I see not a knight. All I can see in your eyes is the ashes I will bury, when you meet your end all so soon." They were silent words, spoken with no emphasis, and yet they rang with truth. There was no subtelty, there was no play on meaning. And yet, it was a truth few had ever realized. "Despite myself, I get involved. I did save your life, for you did not deserve the death that would fall upon you. I only delayed the inevitable. One blade averted, from the hundreds you will no doubt seek in your life. You may live for a thousand more years, and yet I may never know you. For when the blade strikes, when your time is finally at end.... I will not be the one to bury you."

With that, Gabriel turns away. Life seems to resume, as if the very city had been holding it's breath. A babble of chatter and movement, the starting of engines, the stomping of feet. The droning sound of daily life, only noticed when one had experienced it's absence. None would remember this event, nobody would know what Gabriel had said to Mithias. No doubt, every record had been destroyed, every memory of it erased. Gabriel left no traces he did not wish to. "What you do with your life is your task, and yours alone. I can give you only a single piece of advice. Do not live for death, or you will never truly live at all."

With that, the ancient vampire left.
If anyone's having trouble posting for any reason, please contact me through OOC, PM, Steam, Skype, Gmail, G+, or some other method of communication. Extra points if you use smoke signals.

I'll make an opening by altering the fabric of reality, give advice, or help however I can. I see that this is slowing down, and especially after the fight that just happened I would hope this doesn't die out.
