Short Story Summary Time!

Currently, there is a battle going on in the Land of the Forsaken. This is a place where the restless souls of the dead are held. It is controlled by Drac, a God of Death. His adopted family also lives their, guarding it. His daughter, an infantile God of Time, is currently being abducted by a group called The Omegans. These beings of immense power wish to unleash Omega, an omnipotent force of pure destruction. Were they to succeed, it would almost inevitably lead to the end of all reality.

The wire creature meanwhile has no goal, it just kind of eats magic. It was previously a servant to a powerful Plague Witch, but has recently attained sentience. Although not much of it.

Drac was recently defeated by a Shard Being named Bob. While Drac is still alive, his soul is trapped within Bob's cloak.

Mithias the vampire is currently on Thassedar, an ice planet that previously hosted one of the seals that holds Omega in check. He's talking to Bob's daughter to try and find a way to cross dimensions.

Character Cast:
Mithias - a vampire who was drawn from his homeworld by Bob's Random Portal. He recently lost most of his powers, which he had borrowed from another vampire named Tsukune. Now he wishes to master said powers under his own strength.

Drac - God of Death, father to Bug and Lisa, husband to Eruka.

Bob - a being created from the imagination and dreams of sentient beings. Hailing from the Chaos Realm, he is quite literally as old as life itself, and immensely powerful. However, he was recently extremely weakened in the fight with Drac. Much like the dreams and emotions he hails from, he is fickle, random and playful. He professes himself a God of Creativity and Insanity, despite possessing no divine blood.

Sergals - a race, not a character. Furries with magic tech and immense strength. That is all.

Old Matt - the older version of Matt. A grizzled veteran of many conflicts, who believes the only way to end war is to conquer all of reality under a single banner. His banner, that is. He's a technological genius with an army of robots.

Young Matt - an enthusiastic young technological prodigy. He just wants to explore reality and go on adventures. He drives around in a giant mech suit, armed to the teeth with cucumber-based weaponry. One of the stranger characters of HCL.

Bug - insect man, adopted son of Drac.

Lisa - fire elemental girl, adopted daughter of Drac.

Alpha - omnipotent Primal creator of everything

Omega - opposite of Alpha, destined to destroy all Alpha has created. Once Omega has destroyed everything, Alpha will once more create a prison for Omega to inhabit, and begin creating once more. Primal.

Kronos - Primal force of Time, just as Omnipotent as the other 2 Primals.
@Holding Coal
Damn, sorry I forgot about writing you in, mate. Been distracted lately, currently doing my exams ^^
@RavenTLark
Char is accepted, on one condition.

Full/on ressurection from death isn't allowed. You can create all the zombie armies you want, but if someone dies, they should be IMMENSELY hard to bring back. Otherwise death would cease to have any meaning.

Hope you understand the reasoning behind said limitation. Have fun!

Edit: from your post, I gather you don't define her powers as 'magic'. However, the wire creature's powers allow it to absorb anything supernatural (the HCL definition of 'magic'). So it would also be able to suck up her mythological capabilities.
I was under the impression that I had a bunch of SOLDIER elites by my side.
@akje
The doors opened, and a horde of vampires rushed outwards. And yet, Kami had already located his prey. The Oldbloods came rushing at him in a large armoured car, seeming to be under the impression that it gave them some kind of advantage. In reality, however, it simply made them a bigger target, and much easier to take care of. The canon fired, it's recoil cracking the ground beneath his feet as an Armour-Piercing Shell exited the barrely at hypersonic speeds. The vehicle's armour plating was no match for the tungsten tip, nor for the sheer speed of the thing. Even as it entered the structure, the explosive charge sent tungsten shrapnel exploding throughout the entire vehicle, ripping straight through the vampires within and wrecking the vehicle instantly.

The nose of the car tipped downwards, as the rear was launched into the air by the sudden explosive force exerted on the front. The entire structure came rushing at Kami, who simpyl dropped the gun, his blades already out. His movements were faster even than those of a vampire, matching those of an Oldblood in sheer speed. And he outdid even many Oldbloods with his skill and precision. Not a single movement was wasted, his steps a graceful dance through flying shrapnel and raging vampires.

Kami stood amidst a group of collapsed vampires, each of which had been decapitated. Behind him, the beast hit the ground, seperated down the middle by a single slice of Kami's katana. Whatever was left in the gas tank exploded, illuminating the legendary vampire slayer from behing. No vampire would approach, all of them knew that that way would lie their certain doom. Magnus pulled himself from the ground some distance away, the holes in his chest and limbs already closing. Mo had not been so lucky, as her torso crash landed near Kami, still burning. Her writhing was soon ended by a decisisve blow. Hale had somehow managed to jump out of the car before it exploded, hanging on to the ceiling.

[Behold, the end of your race begins with the one who would lead you. This day will be remembered in the history books. Today will be known as the day your filth was wiped from the planet.] A katana in each hand, Kami no Kage marched towards his enemy. Other vampires could barely see, so thick was the Holy vapour, so strongly did it burn at their eyes. And any who crossed his path found their end almost instantly. In the mist, as Magnus felt his skin burning and regrowing, the voice seemed almost demonic. [Today will be named Genocide Day.]

The shrines went down one by one, their legs giving out under them, their armour being pierced by the hover-jet's missiles. They were not equipped to handle heavy weapon's fire, nor were they able to take down the jet that was assaulting them. However, even as vampires swarmed over them to rip apart those Purge agents inside, they revealed their final trick. With the press of a button, the complete fuel reserve was ignited in an instant. The pressure ripped the canisters apart, as the Shrines exploded, spreading liquid fire over the entire area. Any vampire that came nearby was incinerated, the very ground being set alight. Mithias himself was only barely able to avoid being burned to death by one of the explosions near him. Had he been closer, he would most likely not have been so lucky.

With the shrines dealt with, only the Purge helicopters remained. Wisely, they had chosen not to deploy any ground troops, as any such troops would swiftly have been overrun by Magnus' forces. Instead, they faced Aerial Bombardment consisting of both Holy Vapour bombs and Napalm. With no way of recognizing the source of their attack, the vampires were forced to retreat back to the bunker, or to make a run for the treeline. Most of those who ran never made it, burning up on the way there. Either being struck by a napalm bomb, or spending too much time in the vapour. Within the bunker, Kami would deal with them. He was a one-man army, and all the odds were in his favour.

The vampires were nearly blind, their regeneration would be slowed, they were leaderless and confused. Their morale had been broken by the lack of victories, as even taking down the Shrines had only lead to more casualties. There was no winning agains the Purge. There was only minimizing the amount you lost.

The wires shoot out of the ground everywhere, attempting to wrap around and entrap everything. Bahamut becomes entrapped by the wires, as they swirl around him, attempting to drain him of his magic. In response, the Dragon God simply retracted his arcane capabilities, attempting to slow down the wire creature's abilities even as he exerted his own not inconsiderable strength. The metal stretched around him as he grabbed at it, tearing it from his body, attempting to rip it to shreds with his bare hands.

The Voidwalker, of course, had dodged the attack. The very moment the threads had shot out of the ground, they had found the space they were aiming for empty. The Voidwalker had left the room, instead choosing to hover far above the palace, in the misty green air of the Forsaken Realm. The seals had now almost all disappeared, revealing what appeared to be a teenage girl wearing business casual, her hair pure white, her eyes glowing bright purple. She smiled, as space seemed to rip open. Those souls who looked up would see that which those within would be missing. As the sky lit up bright yellow, as if the very atmosphere had been set on fire.

A series of portals, opening at seemingly random locations in the sky, all pointing downwards. However, all of them lead to a single location. For far away, in a universe of little importance, a star had just gone supernova. And through the portals, one would be able to witness this spectacle, even as Void struggled to channel it. In about a minute, the supernova would hit the portals, and everything below would die.

Back down below, the creature attempted to grab Kihaku. She respnded by not caring. Threads sliced their way through her shadowy form, finding nothing to grab on to but the Kishin Witch beneath. Her body was formed from liquid darkness, something the Puppet clearly had not understood. Only in the brief moments of contact was it able to grasp any magic at all, and even then not much. Ignoring the creature's attacks, Kihaku simply continued to exert her revenge, attempting to quite literally skin Nathan alive.
@Wraithblade6
The girl raises an eyebrow, remaining out of arm's reach. It was clear that she remained wary of Mithias, but equally clear that her initial violent intentions had been delayed. "Well, you're a strange one. I have no idea what you're talking about with dimensions and portals." She's silent for a moment, considering whether this strange figure formed a threat to her. Then she spoke again. "I can't help you, but I know something that might be able to assist. I found something that definitely looks like a portal the other day. Don't know where it leads or whatnot, but it definitely goes somewhere, might help you out. Of course, if you want me to show you where it is, you're going to have to help me out first."
Hiya. Planning on returning to fight for Heliod. Thanks for sending me the link ^^
This issue has been resolved between me and Tyki.
Sorry for the slow reply. I had an irl roleplaying session, and it ate up all my free time.

@Slendy
I would like that, yes.
