As Mithias strikes the water, he can feel the waves striking him with immense force. Storm currents pulled at his lower body, dragging him under the water. The water rushed as if he were in the rapids, throwing his body around like a ragdol. With no physical objects to hold onto within arm's reach, there was no resisting the forces of nature as they chose to throw him about. Had he been a mortal being, he would most likely have drowned in the waves. However as it was he was simply dragged under, flung into the seas even as the ship began to move on without him.

Suddenly, he felt a powerful humming. It was like a vibration in the water, a sound that couldn't be heard as much as it could be felt. It rattled his bones and shook the very oceans. However, somehow, Mithias felt like it was speaking to him. He could feel it, an invitation being opened up to him. A trail of tiny water spirits lead the way deeper into the ocean, a weak current tugging at his body.

Now he stood before a choice. He could either chase the boat, and attempt to board it. Or he could venture deeper into the water, and hope that the invitation hadn't been a dinner arrangement.

Eclipse shot out into the storm, traveling over waves and through thunderclouds. As he got closer to the beast the winds increased, gale forces slamming into him from the side as if nature were attempting to swat him out of the air. Lightning arched through the clouds next to and around him, never quite striking him. After about a minute of high-speed flight he reached the source of the storms, a massive being of rage and wind. It was like a man made of cyclones, a massive titan formed from water and ship debris, sucked into the heavens only be be rained down again. It's face was nothing more than a pair of glowing red eyes, glaring at the angel from the centre of the cyclone. He could feel it's power in the winds, as he felt the winds try and drag him into the waterspouts.

He could feel it's mind, a basic and primitive mind, clouded with hatred and fury. It was barely more than an animal, raging simply for the sake of raging. Destroying simply for the sake of destruction. But in particular, it hated the buzzing light that so suppressed it, he hated the calm that Eclipse attempted to produce. It was anathema to this being, who's very essence lay with rage. It weakened it somehow, slowed it's winds, dulled it's mind. The raging demon of the sky was rage incarnate, and should it's rage abate, there would be nothing left but clear skies.

Throwing the full force of it's fury against Eclipse's attempts to calm it, the creature roared. A massive pair of arms extended from it's main body, tornadoes forming fists the size of small houses. With with these it shot forward, attempting to drag Eclipse into it's body, to drown his light in the rushing current of it's own form. And Eclipse knew that if this being were to defeat him, it would continue to annihilate the boat and all those on it. It's mere presence would capsize the boat with massive waves and hurricane-force winds, and those unlucky enough to require air would drown in the middle of the ocean.

The creature moves through the Chaos Realm, it's mere presence twisting the world around it. It channelled the power of nightmares, emanating an aura of fear. Waves of paralysing terror pulsed off of it, twisting the landscape even as the being moved through it. Waves of fire, skies of candy floss and armies of flying monkeys are turned into a cartoon world of grey interiors and twisted, empty trees. A white sky, with no sun in sight. The very world was morphed by the presence of this being, until the line of it's influence hit a barrier that refused to give. The world of white and black ceased expanding instantly, as it was struck with Mortis' own influence. Although it would take all of Mortis' self control to prevent himself from turning his half into a sea of flames, or a maelstrom of blades, as rage would usually turn the Chaos Realm into it's most destructive forms.

The creature grinned at those present, it's mouth extending beyond what could possibly be contained in his face. He raised his right hand, the oversized gun seeming to lift without a problem. Had it merely been a man, or merely been a gun, it would not have been a threat. But Mortis knew very well that these beings were magical constructs formed from Fear, miniature Chaos Gods maintained by Lucy, fed by a particular source of Fear. The barrel glowed brightly, as a beam of light shoots out from the tip. A blade of blacklight cuts through the scene, destroying all in it's path as the spectre seemed to bend towards Mortis, nearly chasing him.

BTW, Lina is accepted.
@Tyki
Doing my own research, Lina is not from Final Fantasy, but rather she is the main character of Slayers. Having done my own little research I've ascertained her to be nearly planet-level. Her most powerful spell, Giga Slave, is said to have the potential to destroy the entire world if miscast. And if cast perfectly, would have ultimate and unlimited destructive capability. The imperfect version used by Lina turned an entire ocean into a lifeless sea of death in an instant. It has the drawback that it costs a massive amount of power, it isn't the kind of thing that can be used on repeat.

Ragna Blade similarly has massive destructive capabilities, capable of destroying massive tracts of land or killing godlike beings. While it is less powerful than Giga Slave, and is not Lina's original creation, it's still on par with some of the strongest introduced characters. I don't believe she'd be able to enter Tsubasa, for example, at least not without a decrease in power.
James walked home from his job, his paycheck having been delivered to his account. It seemed strange to him now, looking back. Just a week ago the string of numbers had held such meaning, such joy. Payday had been a day for celebration, when he was able to afford a little extra luxury, a little extra fun. But now such things had lost all meaning. He himself hadn't eaten since the day of his Initiation, and Lily was in no state to appreciate any form of luxury. She was barely aware of the things she ate, chewing and swallowing out of reflex rather than any real need or intent. Her soul remained imprisoned in that place, the place where his new master dwelled. Now the numbers were just numbers, nothing more and nothing less. Meaningless data flickering across an old-fashioned LED screen. The only reason he even bothered to work was because appearances had to be kept up, he had to look like he was still a turning gear in the cog of the machine.

But in the shadows of the night, when the previous him had been forced into a deep sleep, he now awakened to his true reality. The hunt, the chase after the mysterious King of the underworld. Killing petty criminals, torturing them for answers. He had their greatest fears at his fingertips, and they happily told him anything he wanted to hear. But it wasn't enough. Nobody knew anything definitive, any way to get close to him. And everyone knew that he had powerful friends willing to step in on his behalf. This would mean nothing if he got Lily killed with his investigation, if some enterprising mobster shot her while he was out on his hunts.

No, he would be a shadow, stalking it's prey. He would find where Rick's weak spots lay, what fears kept him awake at night. And he would force him to live his greatest nightmare for the rest of his pathetic existence.

I'd approve of Lina Inverse based on what I've seen, but what exactly does 'black magic' do? I've not seen the anime she's from, whatever it may be, and I'd like to be aware of the limits or general description of what this type of magic is used for, in order to get a better grasp of what power bracket she fits in.

Which reminds me, shouldn't you edit the Opening Post? I think it would be best if you put the currently established dimensions (Tartarus, Tsubasa, Tor-7 and the Chaos Realm) in there for people to see, as well as the basic rules. It would make the entire situation more overseeable for those seeking to join, and we seem to have attracted a fair number of new players.
Name: James Forager
Species: Half-human, Half-Nightmare
Age: 41
Appearance:

Abilities:
As the Avatar of Nightmare in Tor-7, James is able to channel a fragment of Lucy's power. All of his abilities are magnified by fear, specifically fear in his direction. Beings who frequently cause fear, and areas that are saturated in fear, may also function as viable power sources. His own fear provides some baseline level of power.

James is able to manipulate reality, to an extent. He can bring the nightmares of his targets into this reality as magical constructs powered by fear. The more vivid the target's imagination, the more horrific the attack. The properties of these beings are often defined by the nature of the nightmare. So a vampire summoned by a fear of vampires would be weak to sunlight. But a vampire fighter's nightmare of an unkillable vampire might not be. Furthermore, these beings are powered by the illusion of their reality. If the power source does not believe they are real, or overcomes their fear, the magical constructs collapse.

He's furthermore unable to die, so long as his brain remains intact. His body is driven forward by his sheer willpower, and as long as his brain is fine he's functionally immortal. This same power may allow him to overcome nonmagical poisons and diseases.

Weaknesses: He draws power from another dimension. Whilst some of Lucy's power is anchored in the physical realm with him, most of it remains in Dark Woods Circus. As such, if he's shut off from other dimensions, he becomes vastly less powerful. Furthermore, he requires fear as a power source in order to use his powers.

Bio: Will add later.

Theme Song: Will add later.

She's approved BTW. Not sure if you'd gotten the memo ^^

The waves turn violent, smashing into the side of the ship. The makeshift repairs performed on the hull begin to rattle as the ship moves violently up and down. And yet, looking down, Blarg would realize something was amiss. A creature of the sea, he knew much of how it moved and how it functioned. These waves weren't rolling along a sea current, they weren't even simply pushed by the wind. No great airstream was manipulating these rough tides. They were ripples, moving outwards from something massive. And whatever it was, it was getting closer every moment.

Markus, meanwhile, inspects the situation with his particular expertise. The weather here was a mere reflection, the heavy winds a mere premonition. Both he and Eclipse could sense the approaching presence, a magical being of great power. A kami of the third order, a mere two steps separated from the Gods themselves. Markus could feel the power of the storm echoed in the distance, an ancient servant of Raiden given new life. The furious storm that had flung him away echoed in it's movements. And whilst he might be able to combat such a beast on equal footing, there was no doubt it's rage would destroy the boat they rode in. And if he was forced to fly right next to a being made of tornadoes, he would find himself at a sorry disadvantage.

Mithias himself saw something stranger yet. Although oblivious to the distant magical presence, and clueless on the topic of oceans, his assumption of a hallucination had not been based on living plants alone. For as he looked around he could see strange beings all around, floating and flying, interred into the very air and waves. Tiny glowing beings with a variety of forms, magical spirits so tiny they flew under the arcane radar. Spirits of woodworking, miniature insect gods, spirits of water currents and sunlight, spirits of good health, poverty, luck, and happiness. They seemed to be everywhere, in every aspect of life. And yet nobody else seemed to see them, these tiny magical creatures.
