[Apocalypse, Switzerland.]
There were many abilities attributed to those who wielded the Force. They had access to the very stuff of life, and it came with many perks. But among all of the flashy lightning, super speed and telekinesis, perhaps the most powerful ability was precognition. The ability to, to some extent, predict future events. To sense things coming before they even happened, to act on an event in advance. This was the ability that allowed them to deflect incoming blaster fire with their lightsabers, to predict the location of the attack and react faster than would otherwise be humanly possible. Some were more gifted than others, but it remained one of the greatest capabilities among the Jedi and Sith. And as Starkiller moved in to face the unknown threat, it was this ability that saved his life once more.

Reacting in less than a hundredth of a second, the Sith dodged to the side even as 2 tons of metal shot past him. A large bus, moving with the force of a cruise missile. Without looking, he could tell the skyscraper behind him was toppling, although not in his direction. The bus had torn through it's foundations with ease. Had it been but an inch closer, the force of the air moving around it would have ripped his arm off, had it been closer still it would have turned him to a red mist.

Apocalypse was an unmatchable death machine, an unstoppable force of nature. He could level cities with a single blow, and he could march through blaster fire unharmed. And as Starkiller reached forward, he could sense that attempting to meet this creature in melee was nothing more than suicide. A force push would do nothing, and the creature was less than half a second away, closing the distance between them faster than the Sith had thought was possible. And yet, the creature could not fly. And, lifting it off the floor, the Sith was able to halt the advance of the beast. He held it in his hands, at about 500 meters distance. He could feel it struggling, but with nothing to punch, there was nothing it could do.

Of course, it would be moronic to toss it into a building. Such a mild impact would do nothing to it, and he might not get another chance to use his force grab. As such he was forced to simply hold it, unable to properly harm it, and with it unable to escape.

And yet, the sith was not aware that every moment he held Apocalypse in his grip, he was making the creature stronger. It had already felt the power of the Force, and was already adapting. Imperceptibly, it was growing resistance. Should the Force be used against it for too long, this power too would become useless. This was a stalemate with only one possible ending. Should Starkiller continue to fight alone, he would almost undoubtedly be destroyed.

Nova nodded in thanks to the three that chose to stay. While he had not introduced himself to the Jedi, he knew her name, just as he had known that she would stay. The Force runs through all living things, and to those who could sense it, the Emperor was a Maelstrom. Over a Thousand different souls, reborn into a single body and a single mind. While he did not control the Force, he controlled a similar power. The energy of the Warp, the realm of the Immaterium, and the very stuff souls were made of. Standing in front of the God Emperor of Man was like staring into the sun, his presence both comforting and frighteningly overwhelming. "I am sure you will be of use. After all, I can boast of a little precognition, even in this form. And our enemies are shattered, each fighting for their own gain. While some have united, they are too different to form a coherent whole. Therefore, we will always have the advantage."

Of course, it was around then that a shouty girl with blue tentacles instead of hair appeared in front of the Dark Angels. Before she could even make her bold claims, the superhuman reflexes of the space marines kicked in. Bolters were aimed, fingers on the trigger. Psykers drew on the power of the Warp, ready to incinerate her with a whim, to rip her to pieces, or to drive her insane. One dreadnought spun up what appeared to be a minigun the size of a tank canon. Recognizing her as an inhuman threat, they were instantly prepared to annihilate her. And yet, having seen the appearance coming, the Emperor intervened. "Halt." With a single word, the Emperor stilled the hands of the Dark Angels, giving the squid girl the chance to make her speech.

Nova looked down at Ika and smiled, recognizing in her both great power and a childlike mindset. A purely innocent being, with the power to change the world. Such things were rare these days. "Destroy all humans who pollute the oceans? Wouldn't a far simpler solution simply be to stop the pollution in question?" Nova raised an eyebrow at the childish request. He knew that in but moments he would need to lead a war, to order hundreds to what might be their deaths. That he would need to once more decide the fate of entire worlds with his actions, to bear the responsibility of the entire human race. So he allowed himself a moment of happiness. "I would offer you shrimp, but I must now perform a duty of my own. For even as you seek to defeat those who pollute your home, I must defeat those who would destroy mine, if I gave them the chance. But let us, for the moment, be at peace, no? And when this is done, you have my word, the word of an Emperor, that I will ensure your oceans are cleaned of filth."

Having finished, he turned to the more pressing matter at hands. It had taken a significant amount of effort to call forth even this tiny fraction of his armies. He could feel them, through the warp, in another world. But they were scattered, fighting alone against the forces of Chaos amongst the ruins of the Imperium of Man. And it didn't help that the Chaos Gods were doing everything they could to prevent him from summoning more of his forces. He was at a fraction of his military might, not even a full Chapter of Space Marines at his disposal. It would take quite some time before he was able to call in more. And yet, if there was one thing he lacked, it was time.

"Secure the area. This will be our base of operations. This world is to be considered hostile territory, but all those who are found are to be sent to me, with the exception of those who show hostile or malicious intent. Ensure that not a drop of innocent blood is spilled." the Emperor now spoke to his men, who obeyed without question. They had been born and bred to fight. Confronted with their Emperor, the living embodiment of all they were to protect, they had no choice but wordless obedience. "I want to be ready for any enemy assault. Ensure every corner is covered, and every gun maintained. We have entered a state of war, and we are soon to meet the enemy. If they do not come to us, then we will come to them."

Luckily, the Dark Angels had brought their servitors for the task. Hosts of robotic humanoids spread out, mindless cyborgs slaved to the will of their creators. Robotic servo-arms repaired and rebuilt the grounds, placing large turrets and preparing walls. They were able to set up a rather impressive defence, as they created more advanced metals and alloys from the fairly basic supplies that could be scavenged. The palace no longer looked like simply a majestic building, but rather it resembled a fortress covered in guns and gun slits. Surrounded by a Plasteel wall, a series of barriers built to withstand heavy bolter fire. In a mere matter of minutes it would be transformed, ready for war. And the whole time the Space Marines worked tirelessly, the mailed fist of the Empire.

Thanks for answering the questions ^^

You seem to observe some form of difference between force and impact (kinetic energy) and other forms of energy. Hence my question about sound, as sound is a macro result of kinetic energy applied on a molecular level. In fact matter could be accurately described as the solidified state of energy. As such, more accurately, saber cloth diffuses heat, electricity and psionic/magical energy. All other forms of energy, such as gravity, the weak atomic force, kinetic energy and electromagnetism would affect it normally.

It makes sense that you'd have something like Saber Cloth to keep your chars from being sploded, but it seems like it already has a fairly significant weakness in the form of kinetic energy. Things like bullets would simply rip your character to shreds, the kinetic force of the attacks crushing your internals. It seems perfectly logical to have them diffuse light.

Also, on a side note, Star Wars weaponry isn't made of light. Blasters fire off high-powered bolts of plasma, not lasers. Lightsabers are also formed from plasma, which is superheated by a laser activated within the hilt. Hence the plasma can be contained within an electromagnetic field, preserving the shape of the weapon. As such, your saber cloth would likely dissolve the lightsaber on impact, although the weapon could simply be reactivated afterwards.

lastly, Deadland. How does that work? I'm currently assuming that Deadland functions as a rule of the universe, and that anyone who dies within that universe is sent to Deadland. However, does it also affect beings from that universe while they are in another universe? Because if so, you should probably put that on your CS.

Edit: Also, sorry for being such a nerd.
@Absolis
It seems accurate, apart from saber cloth defying most established laws of physics (but hey, it's fiction). However, there's some things I would like to establish.

Saber Cloth is capable of diffusing 'energy'. Does this apply to all energy, or only the popular misnomer 'energy weapons'? For example, is it possible to cut, tear or burn saber cloth? I also assume that it makes an exception for the Weak Atomic Force, because else it would be instantly lethal to wear. But does it diffuse sound?

Furthermore, alien alloys (not instant-exploding) are capable of withstanding impacts from orbits. It requires a weapon like a fusion lance (effectively a repeat firing concentrated nuclear warhead) to pierce the armour of their Battleships, and according to the lore they have acces to a fleet numbering in the millions of battleships (not including an armada of smaller ships). Then there's also the fact that the Temple Ship is the size of the moon, and requires specialized technology just to avoid messing with the planet's gravitational field.

The Ethereals are able to genetically alter beings while they're still alive, although they tend not to do so because it's less efficient. This is shown by the genetic engineering programs performed on humans after they take over the Earth.

Also, what is Conablum lab's energy generation and transportation technology. They're clearly able to build teleporters, but does the teleportation require an object on both ends? As in, can you only teleport to a place that contains a teleporter? Or is there some kind of limit on the range with which they can teleport things?
@Absolis
If the swords are made of saber cloth, and saber cloth diffuses energy, how the hell does light pass through??
@Gummi Bunnies
Makes sense. Make it happen.

@Absolis@Savato
I would recommend you two establishing the difference between Conablum and Ethereal tech clearly in the OOC. Not that I'd want to interrupt the technological dick-measuring that appears to be going on, but it'd probably be useful to establish.
@Absolis
Yeah, the Dark Angels. They're the name of a Chapter of Space Marines. The first of the First Founding chapters, so it felt appropriate.

Don't know where he got the pile of skulls.
@Absolis
Angel things......? You mean the Daemon formed from the God Emperor's soul? Because those are in the Warp, through the giant portal in the sky. The same one he just pulled an army out of.
@Gummi Bunnies
Well, do they usually take part in things like this? From what I understand of the Umineko world, the Witches spend most of the time watching the epic battles from the sidelines, not really getting involved. Alternatively, they could try and recruit some of the more powerful of the current faction leaders into the fold.
@Absolis
I did found it rather amusing that the beings who can currently face Apocalypse are a Daemon Prince, the God Emperor, Asura the God of Wrath, and a squid girl.
