Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

You know, this relationship isn't going to work if you keep bringing that up ^-^

Your choice, but I for one would prefer for Guilt to live for a while longer.
@Regitnui
Wouldn't it make more sense to decide this in-character? See who's characters put themselves in death's way, so to speak.
@The 42nd Gecko
Makes sense to me, but I'm planning to give Lmpkio the rest of today for mine. Cuz he thought he was waiting on Kol.
@KoL
Maybe declare that if someone doesn't post in 3 days (and hasn't announced that they're going to be gone for a while or something) the person they're interacting with is allowed to end the scene in a way they deem fit (with GM moderation)?
So..... has this died?
@Regitnui
OOC I am aware that the High are not, in fact, evil. Although Venom might be a bit crazy. However, Guilt is completely unaware of anything apocalyptic coming this way, and cannot in fact imagine anything more apocalyptic than the previous apocalypse. Which is why she believes that the High are, in fact, evil. And why she wants to see the High perform acts of good in order to dislodge that idea.

I do apologize if you would have preferred if I discussed this beforehand.
@Regitnui

As I just declared, he's perfectly capable of nonlethally incapacitating people. Like he just did to Guilt. Guilt's abilities are far beyond those of a normal human, so if he can nab her then he can nab some asshat with a rifle. I really don't know why you're talking about crushing or murdering, I'm talking about jail. Maybe a proper court procedure. Those involved with the kryptonites may be accused of being an accomplice, or they may be able to claim ignorance.

Oh well. While I disagree with you on the idea that the High could not easily stop the Kryptonites, you are the GM and I will remain silent if you wish to declare this to be reality. I have no intention of starting a fight, and I realize I have complained more than anyone else already.
@Regitnui

1) The Island is capable of sensing things throughout the city. Unless, of course, he was secretly hiding in that church. But if not, he must possess the ability to extend his senses through the matter he controls. So he should be able to track down the Kryptonites with relative ease. Just find the people with assault-rifle shaped matter in their houses.

2) What does killing innocents have to do with it? He's a High. Specifically the High Island. He can just to each of the individual members what he's currently doing to Guilt if that satisfies his conscience. Put em in a box underground. Creating air should be easy for him, and it's not like they can escape or avoid it.
@Regitnui
The kryptonites are really so powerful that the High Island can't defeat them?

....how?
Guilt //

Guilt scoffed. So her punishment was to sit through more of the man's melodramatic ramblings? "My task is to protect innocents. And I will work night and day to protect the innocent people of this city from harm. I will slay any beast that invades it, and any Epic or Freak who dares disturb the peace. Whether it aids you or not, I will continue to serve the mission I was given." Guilt looked around the box she had been locked in. "How about this. Prove to me that you're more than talk with this chatter of saving the city. It would be easy for you to locate and annihilate the Kryptonites. Those people have been killing innocents across the city for their insane ideology. If you are even nearly as interested as you claim to be in the welfare of your citizens, then deal with them. With the Kryptonites gone this city will be a far safer place."

Of course, there was no way the Island would grant this request. If the High had any intention of cleaning up Epic City then they would have done so a long time ago, instead of allowing crime to run rampant in the streets. Whatever goals or plans they had did not include enforcing Epic City's laws, or at least not personally. "So? Either prove your offer is a serious one, or let me go. If you have the time to hold me here then you have the time to fix this city. But I have no patience for people who refuse to act on their statements." Crossing her arms Guilt waited for what would happen, uncertain of what to expect.
