Bio

After a period of different distractions in both my work and private life I am back! Hoping to throw myself back into RP and to help create some wonderful and memorable tales.

I am a dedicated and reliable RPer with a fondness for sci-fi, character study, fantasy and intrigue. I generally go for RPs that are in the casual to advanced ranges and have no problem posting a paragraph or two. I am easy to write with and am not precious about making edits or changes to a post to accommodate others. I don't have a preference as far as writing for a particular gender/sexuality/morality goes but I generally find writing child characters quite difficult.

I do my best to be available to post at most times but work nights for extended shifts so have to work around that. I won't abandon a story though and am usually very punctual at replying to messages so feel free to get in touch!

I think you’re overthinking it.

It's been known to happen.

This is the question. Honestly, I prefer how I did it with White Tiger/Iron Fist and Iron Man/Captain America in my previous game. Long collabs can soak up too much time and I've seen them kill games with their superfluous content. It'd be best to play off each other even if the posts end up being short or result in "flooding" the IC.

I mean, unless writers PM through the conversation and agree for one of them to post the full conversation as some kind of joint post?
Just a quick question, how're we doing interactions with other PCs? Conversations could take up pages if we're posting lines of dialogue and waiting for a response all the time, I only mention it as otherwise I'd be worried about dissolving interactions to single exchanges of general character soundbytes before flying off again. How do you guys operate?

What if the Asgardians were the fifth member of the Security Council that withdrew, in lieu of the Shi'ar (who may never have signed it)?

That would be ideal. :) Just don't give them a reason ;)
So I was sharing this with @Gowi but I want to toss this out there for everyone so that's its clear, coherent and everyone has an opportunity to chime in or shape it.

Not gonna lie, this is all sounding very cool. Is there any way there could be some references to Asgard thrown in there? Nothing will be affected by it but, given Asgard's galactic prominence in the comics, some indication that they were part of galactic politics but have mysteriously all disappeared in the last year or so and their dimension/territory/whatever we're calling it today has been closed off to any and all.

Would just help to reinforce that Thor and the Enchantress are the only Asgardians around and they're currently both on Earth.
@Bounce

Talk about deep cut references, Starkaðr?! I think we're gonna get along just fine. :D
No, you work for Lex Luthor now. You don't get to make your own decisions. *Hides seriousness under fake laugh*

Bear in mind I'm planning to eventually have Superman set up a rival team and that will require heavy hitters of its own. So we can't place them all on the Justice League and leave that short-handed.

Membership is flexible though right?
And 26 characters. Aw man..

On that note, are all approved characters currently in the character list? I could've sworn we're missing a few? (A lot of characters now, is this manageable?)
Benadryl Cucumberpatch is maskless Doom?

This one's for you...

@TimeMasterX Yours truly.

Much as I loath using maskless Doom...

But yeah, we should maybe compare notes, see what's different and what's the same between our respective peopleses.
