Duck Hunt's ears perked up. A chance to escape this horrible cage?

Duck Hunt was merely a dog (and a duck). The cage was not big enough for both of them, which is why Duck Hunt had seemingly turned savage upon capture by the XIII's mooks. But at heart, it was simply afraid. Very afraid.

Greninja was simply sullen; how could it get captured like this? It was banned from OU for being too strong! (Then again, in Smash it doesn't have Gunk Shot.) Greninja looked sadly out the cage at Pac-Man, acknowledging his existence.

Duck Hunt attempted to lick Pac-Man through the cage out of joy. A savior had come!

The new environment was a bit much for Lucina to take in all at once. She found a suitable distraction from the confusion when a male voice acknowledged her existence.

Lucina turned around, startled. The young fellow didn't finish his sentence, as if unsure how to conclude talking to Lucina. "...May I help you...?" Lucina asked, tilting her head. "Wait. First. Who are you?"

Lucina turned completely around. Some heads in the crowd turned, though they likely dismissed her as some cosplayer. She did look awfully like a character from a Nintendo video game.

Habeen listened intently to Syrena speak. She talked of the great fire within that clawed and struggled to escape, to rain havoc... how she, as the gatekeeper, felt it not a privilege but a responsibility, even a burden, to wield such a blazing power. Sometimes Habeen felt that way with her own folk magic as well, especially in dealing with the more agitated spirits. Perhaps that's why modern mages call her kind of magic "dark magic."

Habeen exhaled. She wasn't a pep talker at heart. Somehow, she felt great discomfort in sending the young mage out into a battle, especially if she had doubts like that... Habeen's smile wavered a bit.

"I suppose you wouldn't be standing here if you didn't have some sort of control over your magic," Habeen said, trying to offer some kind of consolation. "No doubt you've got a way to channel your magic instead of it channeling you. I don't really quite understand what you have to deal with, but hey, you've made it this far without frying to a crisp..."

Habeen winced upon saying that; by nature, she wasn't that heartless. "If you aren't comfortable with going out there, you ought to talk to Hugh about it, face-to-face," Habeen offered. "He'll most likely understand. I think he'll understand. Here, I'll go with you if you would like."

@Prince of SeraphsAll of them are from the original Smash roster. Lore-wise, it's because those characters were the first ones to fall to their violent tendencies. I'm assigning characters from the roster to each level, so I'm making sure that the XIII aren't played.

Hey is this still open? Cause I'd love to play as Navi. Also which heroes constitute the thirteen? Oh and do the characters have final smashes cause I didn't see a slot for it in the character tab? Also, assuming this is still open would it possible for you to PM me a copy of the character sheet with the names of the moves replaced by the button combinations or environmental factors that constitute there use cause I recognize movies in the game based on how I can make them happen. I don't know what "up tilt" or "down aerial" means.

Lucina--Academy City

"Excuse me. I'm sorry. Pardon me."

Lucina pushed her way through a crowd of younger people as she wandered the streets. What sort of temporal anomaly deposited her in this city? It wasn't anywhere she recognized; the architecture and technology seemed very advanced, way ahead of Lucina's time.

Lucina felt out-of-place, mostly due to the primarily student population of the large principality, plus the fact that her navy-blue lord's attire seemed anomalous in a crowd of school uniforms.

Lucina looked up towards the buildings. What a far cry from the apocalyptic, dragon-razed time from which she came, and the war-torn continent from which she was torn. Yet despite the environment, Lucina could not feel at peace, when she knew that her closest friends depended on her to deliver them from Grima's evil.

Lucina made her way towards the sidewalk. "Hello?" she called. "Can somebody tell me where I am? I appear to be lost. What country is this?"

Rasputin rubbed his hands in glee as the agents of Shadow Eternity prepared to take the Serpent's Eye. "If I cannot kill the last of the Romanovs directly," he growled to himself, "then I shall end them with a BANG in the dark of the night!"
