I keep my PP-2000 pointed at the door, until Anya steps into my line of fire, when I lower the barrel just enough to not be pointing it at her back. I relax a little after Anya's tirade and Trinity's response. He wasn't to thrilled with the idea of having a Solomon in town, his experience with them had not been pleasant. Snotty, arrogant, SoBs every freaking time, always throwing their name out as if it made them some jugernaught, when most of them spent their lives sitting on their asses babysitting. I resisted the urge to spit, at the man's feet. but this was quickly getting far to crowded a party for his tastes. Since no one was trying to start anything, I holster my gun, and glance at the three beings before me, my gaze resting at last on Anya.

"I apologize for not announcing my visit, I had hoped to do this in a more public venue, but other events forced me to delay things uncomfortably. The group I mentioned earlier will be meeting tonight at the club Red's and White's for their next attempt, and if I'm not mistaken, the devil is leading the ritual, so I have no reason to doubt it's success unless it's interrupted. I will have someone take care of your door, by lunch today. If you're interested, ask for me at Makarov's Diner, before super. This party is getting a tad crowded for my tastes, so if you don't mind, I'll be on my way now."

Dmitri moved to the door, and glared at Solomon on his way out, the man probably couldn't help being new in town, but his timing and arrogance were really off putting to one so used to the mafia scene, arrogance got you killed, competence and professionalism were the things that mattered. As an after thought, Dmitri pauses at the bottom of the front steps, and turns back to the room, calling in to Liz. "You want a lift to your place Liz, or at least to end of your street?" Dmitri doubted she wanted to go anywhere with anyone, but if she wanted out of there, she might take him up until they turned the first corner at least. And he wasn't really sure if she even had a street address, so his question was a bit more awkward than he liked but it was enough to get the job done.

@Tracyarmav I usually respond to people as if it's actually a live event and not during what they say. For example, you talk, and the post directly after is what someone else xays, and etc.

As do I, and that's fine, you just posted the Kinfe coming through your door interupting your speach, after I had done the same, which means our characters were talking at the exact same time. (which wouldn't happen simply because Dmitri will shut up anytime someone else starts talking) I'm not asking you to change how you write, I'm asking that you be aware of the flow of conversation through the posts, if that makes sense. If it doesn't don't worry about it. It's not a huge deal, just a minor, stylistic improvement.

Since I haven't been able to reach @Yunagi I'm going to skip ahead slightly with Cin, he'll be in town, maybe already at the inn, by the end of my next post. I hope that doesn't create any problems for anyone.

@KatherinWinter umm, two of us are out cold, so we can't answer that, but Isa would vote "not yet" if could. Vlad still expects it and so probably has the means and measures in place to retrieve anyone that does manage to escape. He would appreciate you taking down the last guard but that's probably a moot point by now anyway, he just likes to finish what he starts.

I was not thrilled with the idea of moving to a shack, not all of my enemies were magical, still Mason's files indicated that was a very thorough sort of person. So perhaps his wards would deal with them too, but if it did how would Anya and I get through? I'd burn that bridge when I got to it, we clearly couldn't stay here and none of my bolt holes was in any way suitable for the habitation of a small human girl, much less two, and they were even less suitable if I was also using it. I'd have to fix that soon, it was an exploitable weakness I couldn't afford, but I don't have time to address it now.

"Liz, can we drive to your place? I don't relish the thought of walking through snow, ice and flying knives to get to it. And would you rather walk out on your own or be carried out?"

Dmitri would tell Anya to carry Liz, if she needed to be carried. If Anya balked, he'd argue that Anya was perfectly capable of leaving him in the dust and loosing him, even while carrying Liz, while Dmitri would be severely hindered by the awkward weight, light as it was, and would sorely miss the use of his hands. Hopefully that wouldn't be necessary, but that bridge too could be burned as it was reached. Dmitri moved cautiously to the door, peeking through the splintered crack in the top of the door. There didn't appear to be anyone waiting for them out side, though a strange couple was approaching the front door. Dmitri wondered if he'd interrupted a party or something. He stepped back, keeping himself between Liz and the door as he readied himself to launch a two fronted attack on the approaching couple; just in case they proved to be hostile.

"You hosting a party today, Anya, or did you just install a new trouble magnet?"

If two people are cut off by the same event, that means they are talking at the same time... Last time it was believable, but this time, you're responding to what I've said before/as I am saying it. And since you didn't pick the mind read ability, that doesn't make much sense IC. I hope you will be kind enough to be more careful with timing your character's actions, if not nothing's ruined. I can deal. I just think the story would be more cohesive if Anya is responding to others as it makes sense for her to do so. That aside, nice post. I'll have a response up shortly.

Edit: Posted! Also, is my formatting bothering anyone? I can ditch it if it is, it's an old habit from an older RP site.
