There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Bio

Personal Profile

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s
Relationship: Married (happily, I might add)
Time Zone: Arizona (we hate daylight savings, so it's MST year-round)
Writing History: I've been on a number of different roleplaying websites for over a decade and a half
Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes
Level: Advanced. Will consistently provide around 400-700 words per post, but can occasionally leap to 2000+
Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

When do you think the OOC will be up?

Well I'm busy today with other things, but hopefully it'll be up tonight! I'm working on it whenever I can

:) Alright, yeah, I can dig it. Can there be greater variance in female scale colors, though? I'd rather not be limited to just green...EDIT: Anyway, looking forward to the OOC.

Yep there will be! I'm just using Knight's books for the fire, wings, and life cycle aspects (referring to how the dragons are not magical by any means). The rest is my own idea :)

Ah, dragons! Always a fan of them, myself. What styles of dragons are we going for here? Intelligent, obviously, but magical? Western/Eastern? Both?

I'll probably use the mythology from E. E. Knight's "Age of Fire" series. The dragons won't be magical, but they will still breathe fire and fly.

I think I'll incorporate mostly Western style dragons, but there could also be some winged Eastern ones if they fit my theme :) I'm working on my OOC page right now in between other things, so you'll see soon!
After reading my last post, I realized it totally looks like godmod XD

I promise, it's just Vinny's overconfidence lol he thinks he's a big-shot
At first, Vinny just stared at the girl. Then he laughed. Did she really expect him to believe that she was that oblivious? And that comment about taking the land back soon... He shook his head. There was no way he would let some Campione scumbag take that place back, or any other. The coffee shop belonged to Addario now.

Another thought occurred to him. He glanced over his shoulder at Antonio, who still stood hidden behind the wall. If Vinny could just play his cards right, this would work out in his favor. He looked back at the girl, examining her again. So far, he picked out three important details:

She was weak and losing strength quickly.

She was on Addario territory, not Campione.

She was unaware of who Vinny and Antonio were.

After a moment's thought, a small smile played on the corner of his lip. He knew just how to handle her. Vinny ignored the girl's vicious salamanders and moved closer to her. In her current state, they wouldn't be around much longer anyway. He leaned in close until his face was about a foot away from hers.

"Do you know who you're dealing with?" Vinny asked. His voice was soft, but it held an underlying tone of menace. He narrowed his eyes. "My name is Vincenzo Addario." He simpered cruelly. Even if she didn't recognize his face, Vinny was rather infamous among both families for his assaults on the Campione. He was especially notorious for ambushing lone members of the rival family with a frighteningly high success rate. "I'll let ya go home this time, but in the future, try to remember who owns what. Got it? I know your face now, and I won't hesitate to kill ya if I see you around these parts again. Consider this a warning."

Confusionem Infligere; Metus.

The black vines on his arm crept an inch higher as Vinny cast a fear-instilling variation of the hex. Hopefully the girl would be too weak by now to notice his influence over her mental state, let alone block it out. However, he didn't plan on sticking around to find out. He stepped away from her and walked back to the corner, where Antonio stood waiting.

"Let's go," Vinny said. "She shouldn't bother us again any time soon."
I think we can wait. No need to rush it :)
Alrighty! Just one more person before I start to write up the OOC :)
Okay I lied XD

I added my post to the IC
Clara flinched as another bought of turbulence wracked the plane. She always hated flying, but her job as a model called for it. Her agency often sent her to France and Italy among other places around the world. Turbulence was no new concept for her. She pulled out her iPod and put the ear-buds in, playing the songs on 'shuffle' to try and drown out the rattling of the plane. The people in the row across from her had panicked looks on their faces and kept pointing out the window at something, but she didn't pay them any mind. They were probably new to traveling by air and got scared by the shaking.

Suddenly, the plane lurched and Clara was thrown into the seat in front of her. She pulled the ear-buds out and stuffed her iPod in her backpack. She lifted the plastic shade on her window, but she couldn't see anything except smoke. Her green eyes snapped wide open in panic. She tried to think rationally. What should she do to survive? The first thing that came to mind as to grab her backpack and hold it tightly in her lap. She wasn't sure if that would help, but she wasn't an expert on plane wrecks and she had no clue what to do. She slammed her eyes shut, curled her body over her backpack and braced for impact.
By the time Clara awoke, she was bobbing up and down in water. She felt stinging cuts along her arms, legs, and torso, and when she opened her eyes she saw the water was stained crimson. For a panicked moment, she thought it was all her blood, but then she saw the corpses floating nearby. She instantly felt sick to her stomach. Those poor people! They probably all had families that would miss and grieve for them. Despite the situation, she felt a pang of envy. Her parents didn't care for her like that.

I should have died instead of them.

Clara was surprised at the morbid thought, and she quickly pushed it away, instead searching for some place to find refuge. To the left, she spotted a sandy beach. She grabbed her backpack - it was floating next to her, one of the straps hooked on her arm - then swam towards it without hesitation. She was a strong swimmer, having been taught at a young age in her parents' indoor pool, so she reached the island in a matter of minutes.

Clara clambered onto the shore, coughing and shivering from both the cold and the shock of what just happened. She curled up in the sand and lay there, letting the sun warm her frigid body for a few minutes while she took in what happened.

The plane caught on fire somehow and crashed, and Clara was now stranded on an island.

What now?

Perhaps there were other survivors.

Clara got up shakily to her feet and slung her bag over her shoulder. She brushed the sand off of her torn jeans and t-shirt, then tried to comb some of it out of her hair. She hated feeling dirty. After a moment, she took a step to see if her legs would support her. They did, so she began to walk slowly along the beach in search of others who may have survived the wreck.
XD I'm sorry!! I was skimming RPs and had this on one tab and a typed out RP post in microsoft word. I pasted it in the wrong thread lmao
