There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Bio

Personal Profile

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s
Relationship: Married (happily, I might add)
Time Zone: Arizona (we hate daylight savings, so it's MST year-round)
Writing History: I've been on a number of different roleplaying websites for over a decade and a half
Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes
Level: Advanced. Will consistently provide around 400-700 words per post, but can occasionally leap to 2000+
Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

Dibs on the spawn of Tweedle Dee and/or Tweedle Dum :D (Can I, please?)
I haven't seen a good Wonderland RP in ages!

The following CS is a WIP yo.

The Tweed Cousins

Name: Fabian (left)
Parent: Tweedle Dee
Age: 20
Personality: A bit of a prankster and always one for having a good time, Fabian is known for getting himself into mischief. He is surprisingly clever considering his parentage, but he quite obviously inherited his father's playfulness. He has a difficult time focusing on serious topics for any length of time. Instead, he prefers to act as the "comic relief" and engage in silly antics with his cousin, Freya.
Other: Fabian can be a charismatic fellow when he chooses to be. This comes in handy when dealing with strangers and enemies. He has been rumored to have even tricked a man into giving up his sword in the middle of a battle. However he has also been known for inventing his own legends, so no one knows if the story is actually true.

Name: Freya (right)
Parent: Tweedle Dum
Age: 20
Personality: Freya has always been something of a ditz. She often has her head in the clouds and is slow to put two and two together. Nevertheless, she always maintains a cheerful attitude and enjoys making other people smile. She just has issues with figuring out when a practical joke has gone too far or when to stop fooling around.
Other: While Freya might be good for nothing in most situations, she is talented with various weapons. She taught herself to use them, so she uses very unorthodox techniques that her enemies would not expect.

Shared history: The Tweedle household was a chaotic one. I know; shocking, right? Being as close as they were, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum refused to part from one another, even after meeting two lovely ladies -who, might I add, were as odd as the Tweedles themselves- and having children of their own. So all six moved in to one quaint little house at the edge of the woods. The result was hardly a good one.

With two sets of unruly parents, Fabian and Freya had no appropriate role models to learn from. They assumed that all of life's problems could simply disappear if one put them off long enough. They also judged that the more games one played, the more things would be enjoyable in the long run. Of course, their parents taught them none of these ridiculous philosophies. They hardly schooled the two children at all. Sadly, Fabian and Freya were doomed to become misinformed autodidacts.
Killian nodded thoughtfully at Frami’s explanation. Empire of Death, huh? He felt a thrill of excitement. Never one to believe in silly superstitions, Killian took such warnings to be a defense against pesky thieves. More likely, the person who set up the sign had something he was desperate to hide. Something Killian was determined to get his hands on.

He casually strode around the tomb, tracing a finger lightly over the faces of the skulls he passed. Some people might think of his actions as disrespectful, but the owners of the bones were dead, so what did it matter if he did a little poking and prodding about? He paused and glanced back at the others, who had now flooded into the room, and scoffed under his breath. The musclebound twins were busy playing about while the rest of them were just standing around the entryway. Well, if you need something done, you just have to do it yourself, he decided.

It was then that he noticed the object Effie had referred to as a “bird bath.” Killian abandoned his post at the sinister grinning skulls to see what had piqued the siblings’ interest. He peered over Otto’s shoulder. A single drop of water worked itself loose from the damp cavern ceiling and plunged into the stagnant pool. To Killian’s amusement, the surface of the water remained as still as glass. There wasn’t even a ripple to show any disturbance from the falling droplet.

“Fascinating,” Killian breathed. He moved around Otto to lean over the dish. “What do you suppose keeps it from moving?” The question was directed more towards himself than to anyone standing nearby. Killian reached a tentative hand out towards the surface of the water, curious as to what it would do if he tried to touch it. He was just centimeters away when the room suddenly went black. Someone was calling out for matches.

“Here,” Killian called in reply. He breathed an inward sigh of relief that he had come at least somewhat prepared as he dug around in his coat pocket for a match. Finding one, he struck it against the stony edge of the “bird bath” and a dim glow emerged.

Killian squinted against the inky darkness in search of a torch. He spotted one hanging on the wall back near the entrance and took it down, and then lit it with the remains of his match. The brighter flame cut through the black so that he could see everyone’s faces again. He noticed that the raven-haired man had also lit something that had a funny smell to it.

Killian stepped back over to the others, a cryptic grin set upon his face, “Seems like someone doesn’t want us here.”
Ooh, things are getting interesting ;D I'll get a post up soon if I can

Sorry for the long wait and the short post... I have found a very addicting game, and I only now have managed to pry my hands off it.

That's okay. I'm still pretty busy, myself, so I'm not enforcing any time limits. Everybody can take the time they need to post
Did this RP die already? It's been almost a week since anyone posted and it only just started o.o
Things just got really intense :O
---Collab between Summer and Alyss Dolyss---

Sho barely heard Suzume calling out through the white noise. Did she say 'Haruka'? Before he could turn to see what was going on, the overwhelming sound began separating into distinctive pitches. Then he realized the pitches were forming syllables. He cocked his head slightly and shut his eyes, trying to pick out the words. What he heard sent a chill creeping up his spine.

"Kill?" Sho murmured, eyes wide. "W-who? I didn't..." He faltered, a growing sense of unease in the pit of his stomach. Suzume. Sho spun back around to find her backing away from him. Too late.

"Suzume," Sho called after her, raising his voice to be heard over the constant thrum. He stood up and took a tentative step towards her. "Where are you going? It's not safe out there."

Suzume just kept walking, trying to just forget about things. But in her stubbornness, through the noise, she heard Sho near her. She heard what he said, and she just turned to look at him. It was barely a look, she just kept her head down and averted her gaze. Whatever she heard, it made her very uncomfortable, confused and bitter. She bit her lip, then looked at him in a cold way. But as she did her eyes started to swell with big tears.

"I don't know where I'm going...just somewhere?" Listen to me... she thought. "I just..." she looked back down. "I don't know what happened between you and Haruka, but playing games on me isn't okay." she growled under her breath. "I just want to get out of this building, and go home, Sho." her voice came to a crack, she still didn't want to look at him. "I'm sorry for whatever I did to make you like me. But I don't want to be hated anymore or be in this... this... hell. I just wanna go home..." After her speech, she looked up at him with tears starting to run from her eyes. I sound so pathetic...

Sho opened his mouth, then closed it again. He wasn't sure how to respond to her sudden change of mind. What did she mean by 'hated'? He racked his brain in search of any memory of something he could have done to hurt her or initiate such thoughts. He couldn't think straight. The white noise was too pervasive... Wait. It suddenly clicked.

"Suzume, hold on!" Sho hurried over to her and grabbed her hand to keep her from fleeing. "I don't know what you mean by me and Haruka. Nothing happened, okay? It's this godforsaken noise! It's putting thoughts in our heads and trying to turn us against each other. Suzu, listen to me." He put one hand against her cheek and gently turned her face towards his. "We will go home. We just have to do it together."

Sho drew her into an embrace and kissed her on the forehead. "Come on now. We have to keep going. We're still the heroes of this story, remember? Some writing on a wall told us that, so it must be true." He offered her a playful smile. "I promise I'll help you through this. Don't you trust me?"

Suzume just blinked at him through her tears. A childlike spark came across her eyes but she still just blinked at him. She didn't really know what to say to him either. The Noise Listening to all he said, she stared at him. Suzume like everything single thing he said, and it made things not seem as bad. "Heroes?" she mumbled. She snugged against his chest like a little girl, and thought about things for a second. After some silence, she looked at him and put her hands around his ears. A smile came on her face with some tears still in her eyes but she laughed. "If I cover your ears, you won't hear it maybe?" She continued to have a joyful laugh as she looked at her hands covering his ears and talking over this noise.

"Hmm," Sho covered her hands with his own and grinned at her. "It does help a little... Here." He took off his beanie and slipped it over Suzume's head, down to just below her ears. "That should help with the noise. I also must say: it looks better on you than it does me."

She kept feeling tears, even though she didn't really get why. "Sho...I want to be heros." Her eyes watered some more, "But I've had this god-awful feeling that, we're going to die in here." she still smiled. "We might end up being tragic heroes "

"Hey," Sho said. "Don't say things like that." He furrowed his brow in a mock scold. "We'll get out of here alive. And you can't die; I forbid it." He suddenly remembered Haruka was here with them. "Let's regroup so we can come up with a plan to get out of here."

Suzume brushed off her tears and giggled, "Okay, just don't look at me like that. You look mean when you scowl." She turned in the direction she thought she heard Haruka's voice. "I think she was this way. I hope she's okay, and hopefully Toby is with her." she gave a small smile.

“My name?” The Blue tore a limb from the well-done elk carcass and gnawed the meat from the bone thoughtfully. “I suppose I haven’t told you, have I? My name is SoNem, son of SoRuu.” He stripped the last of the meat from the bone, sniffed at it, and then swallowed it whole. The bone would give his stomach something to work on during the long journey ahead.

He shifted in the tall grass and felt his rough edges of his scales catch on the blades. Oh, what he wouldn’t give for some satisfying gold or silver to replenish his armor. His mouth grew wet at the thought of the metal taste. Hopefully they would be able to at least find some ore along the way.

He was roused from his musings by a prod from Istaria.

“Sorry to bother you,” she said. “But where are we going? All the others have spread out by now… We have no hope of following them.”

“I’m not sure,” SoNem replied, sniffing at the air. She was right, though: the other dragons had all left. On top of that, he didn’t know his way around since he had lived on the peninsula for his entire life. “Why don’t we head north? Maybe we can find a place the humans haven’t already invaded.” His fire gland pulsed at the mention of the human scum. He took a deep breath to compose himself.

“It’ll be a slow trip since we’re traveling with a wounded dragonelle and a drake,” SoNem also pointed out.

Istaria rolled her eyes. Her master could be far too blunt. She stepped over to Feneya’a side and reexamined the dragonelle’s wing.

“You’re healing up very nicely,” she bobbed her snout in approval. “Do you feel up to moving just yet?”
