There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Personal Profile

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s
Relationship: Married (happily, I might add)
Time Zone: Arizona (we hate daylight savings, so it's MST year-round)
Writing History: I've been on a number of different roleplaying websites for over a decade and a half
Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes
Level: Advanced. Will consistently provide around 400-700 words per post, but can occasionally leap to 2000+
Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

It felt good to talk to Penelope so casually again. Crow felt reassured when she smirked at him and went on like nothing had changed. He stretched and nestled comfortably into the blanket pile, listening as she spoke about William and Abraxas being a cause for concern. Apparently the older knight was still too proud to even attempt learning the accent, while the younger was struggling quite a bit. The thief wondered how they might be able to make up for their ineptitude. Younis kept its borders quite closed off from Brerra, so it would be strange for the natives to see two foreign knights wandering about with a peasant and a thief in tow.

So far, their odds didn’t look good. The two kingdoms hadn’t been on good terms for almost a century. Berra’s history of greedy, power-hungry royalty was offputting to the more traditional and peace-loving rulers of Younis. They would be quick to spot and detain any suspicious characters to protect themselves from potential usurpation. Crow just hoped that he and Penelope could find a way to avoid getting dragged down with the other two. He didn’t want to deal with any more delays to his inevitable freedom.

“Sounds like a problem,” the thief nodded, keeping up his accent. He hoped that by listening to him, Penelope would better memorize and replicate the sound of it. “Well, if they get us caught, I can do my best to save you and myself from prison. I don’t know about those two though.” He shrugged. “It’s one thing to convince a Younisian soldier that two Brerratic knights took a local villager and his wife captive. It’s quite another beast to convince them that we were all on the same side and mean the king no harm to begin with. I don’t think anyone would buy that lie for a second.”
Okay! Have fun in Mexico :D
You don't have to worry about posting every day. I'm pretty sure I can't do that, haha.
Thanks! It's a 17 day road trip, so I'm hoping it all goes smoothly xD
So much fun!! I loved it x3
The best part was kayaking on the ocean in the morning over a coral reef
There were lots of cool fish and other sea life
Also drinking is legal for 18+ y/o's, so that was good times for me and the squad xD
Crow felt a pang of guilt for telling Penelope he wasn’t a liar and then following the statement up by lying right to her face. Technically, it was true—they were nothing more than friends—but it still felt wrong to say it aloud. He wanted to be more than friends. He ached to be more than friends, but Olivia was right: Nothing good would come of it. A thief and a knight? It was unheard of. Besides, he thought gloomily. She wouldn’t be happy with me anyways. I can’t provide for a noblewoman. The best I could do would be to steal her jewelry from wealthier women, and that’s no life for someone of her status. She’ll be better off with a man who can love her properly. Crow decided to let his feelings for her remain buried. He and Penelope would finish their mission and return to their separate lives with no romantic involvement. It was better this way.

“Olivia was quite a minx, eh?” he said with a forced smile. “She managed to trick both of us. I don’t know about you, but I feel like quite a fool for getting caught in her web of lies.” The thief shook his head and let his gaze wander to the passing scenery outside of the cart. He exhaled, relaxing his tense muscles as the stress of the situation finally passed. His friendship with the knight was still intact. There was no need to be worried anymore.

Crow looked back at Penelope with a smug expression, “By the way, how is your accent coming along?” He spoke in the lilting voice of a Younisian native. “I believe we’ve reached a point in our journey where it’s imperative that you knights try to master it. You don’t want to get arrested now do you, love?”
Heya! I just got back from Mexico.
I just wanted to drop by and let you know I plan to write my reply tomorrow.
I'm too tired to write one tonight, but I'll try to make time for it between packing for my next trip in the morning :)
I just got back from Mexico!
Can't wait to pick this back up :)

I'll still be traveling again (starting on Thursday), but I'll try to post whenever I'm at a hotel
A devious smile crossed Roman’s lips at the sight of Abigail’s fluster around him. It was so easy. He barely even had to try to impress her. She seemed to be smitten with him just because of his natural charm and good looks. At the very least, she was embarrassed by his flirtatious comments. The girl had fallen into his web; now he just had to close in and seal the deal.

Roman chuckled at her question, “Just hold onto my waist, doll. You don’t think the guy who just saved you from those two robbers would hurt you, right? I’m not gonna lay a finger on you—unless you ask, of course.” He winked coyly. “Now then, as for a place to go…” He stroked the stubble on his chin in thought. Normally, he would have taken a beautiful girl like her right back to his place, but she wasn’t the type to go along with that. She definitely looked too innocent for anything so fast-paced. No, he would have to play a slower game to secure a night with this one.

“Do you like ice cream?” Roman asked. “I know a guy in Central Park—real nice; he gives me discounts—who has a cart. I’ll buy.” He revved his motorcycle’s engine and drove out onto the street, weaving through the flow of traffic, without giving Abigail a chance to answer. “You deserve something sweet, little miss. You’ve had quite a day.”
@XxLyraxX I'd love to take your commission! I'll be out of town until about August 3rd (possibly later), but I will have wifi some of the time, so I'll definitely get to it when I have the opportunity!
It's all good! I can't reply anyways because I'm getting ready for my trip to Mexico. Forming itineraries, packing, and all that
And I'm trying to help my bf get ready over the phone because he procrastinated and is still like 3 hours away, ahhh x_x
Also, I don't think I can reply until I get back because I'm going to bed early. I've gotta be at the airport by 7:00AM, oi @.@
Traveling is fun, but to much work to prepare for </3
Crow was hopeful when he saw that Penelope was the one to climb into the wagon with him. She had been so guarded before. He fully expected Abraxas to take her place on the ride to the outer villages of Younis. However, his hopes were quickly dashed when the knight sat in the farthest corner of the wagon bed. It looked like she was still distrusting of him after all. He looked away from her, absently toying with the hem of his tunic. He wasn’t sure how to approach her. He had spent so much of his life alone that social conflicts had become something of a mystery. Usually, if he didn’t get along with someone, he would just drop the person from his life and move on, but he couldn’t do that with Penelope. She meant too much to him now. Probably more than she should, he thought as he felt his heart flutter in his chest. He had to say something.

“I don’t know what Olivia said to turn you against me,” Crow said tentatively. He paused. His voice sounded too loud in the silence. He didn’t like it, but he had to keep trying. “Whatever it was, I can assure you it isn’t true.” He forced himself to hold her gaze from across the wagon, ignoring his instinct to run from the potential conflict. “I may have a history of being a liar, but that doesn’t mean I’m incapable of honesty. I may also be known for running solo, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be loyal. Look,” he sighed. “I just mean to say that I’m not trying to deceive you. I’m your friend. Nothing less, and…” the thief hesitated for a moment, finding his next words to be surprisingly difficult to say: “nothing more.”
