There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s

Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes

Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

Oh no, hopefully you don't catch it!

Crow finally worked up the nerve to tell Penelope about what happened on his end cx
Crow met Penelope halfway as she moved in to kiss him once more. He smiled against her lips, running a hand through her long hair and pressing into her deeply. It felt good to be so close to her after being apart, especially when there had been a moment when he wasn’t sure if he would ever see her again. While he felt bad that Abraxas had died at the castle, he was far more relieved that it had been the young knight to perish rather than Penelope.

After a bit, they parted from the kiss, but still remained close since neither of them seemed to want to let go. “Me neither,” he exhaled, frowning at the thought of something happening to her back at the palace. He closed his eyes as she leaned into him, bringing a hand up to softly stroke the hair on the back of her head. It was fortunate that neither one of them would have to find out the answer to the question of what they would do if the other had died. He didn’t know if he would even be able to carry on with the mission if he had lost her.

Crow nodded solemnly when Penelope said that it would be harder for them to sneak around William. He longed for the freedom they’d had when they had been alone, but there was nothing they could do about it now. The older knight had been freed from the Younisians, and he was here to stay. “We’ll still find time together,” he said hopefully, glancing at the sleeping William on the other side of the clearing.

“At least we don’t have a castle to worry about anymore though...” Penelope’s words, though he was sure she meant them to be reassuring, sent a wave of unease through him.

“Yeah… right,” he shifted his weight, recalling Aeklora’s warning. We may not be as safe as we think we are, he thought, looking up to do a quick survey of the forest around them. The goddess had said there were people out there who didn’t want them to succeed, and she had considered them dangerous enough to tell him about them in person. Alert your companions. His expression turned somber as he remembered her words. As uncomfortable as he felt about telling someone else about what he had experienced at the castle, he knew he had to say something.

“Actually… there’s something else,” he said slowly, forcing himself to meet Penelope’s gaze once more. “It’s going to sound completely insane, but promise me that you won’t think I’m mad, okay?”
For real! One of my friends got e-coli today, and the rest of us are dying of strep :'D
Yay~ That's nice, because I just finished re-watching Friends, so I don't have much else to do while I'm stuck at home tomorrow lol

Same! It's so good
Lying beneath the tree, Crow rolled onto his right side and settled down into a more comfortable position as he began to drift off to sleep. Though he didn’t like the fact that he and Penelope couldn’t sleep next to each other while William was with them, he still took comfort in her presence nearby. He also appreciated that the older knight was keeping watch for them. It was nice to be able to rest without worrying about being caught by surprise. Ever since he and Penelope had split off from the others, they hadn’t had the luxury.

He let out his breath slowly, listening to the sound of the wind rustling the trees around them. After everything that had happened that night, he was thoroughly exhausted. It didn’t take long to let go of consciousness and fall asleep.

That morning, Crow slept more soundly than he usually did. Even when William woke Penelope to take over his watch, the thief merely stirred slightly and rolled over to his other side without fully waking up. He continued to doze for a while longer before he was finally roused from his sleep by the slowly brightening sunlight. Yawning widely, he sat up and stretched. His body felt battered from everything he had gone through at the castle—his left leg pained him the worst—so he took a moment to let the ache fade before trying to stand up.

Taking a moment to look around the clearing, he saw that William was still asleep and Penelope was standing off to the side keeping watch. This could be the only time we have alone all day, he realized, rubbing his eyes with the heel of his palm as he woke up more. Might as well take advantage of this opportunity.

He forced his tired body to get up from the ground and made his way over to the female knight, offering her a weary smile, “Morning, love.” Glancing back at William to make sure he was still asleep, Crow gathered Penelope up in his arms and kissed her, relishing the feeling of her lips pressed against his after being separated from her for so long. He trailed one hand down the length of her back and held her close to himself with the other, enjoying the moment while it lasted.

After a while, he pulled back from the kiss, but continued to hold her in his embrace. He leaned his head against hers and sighed serenely, “I missed this.”
Cool~ I'm already home because I got sick today ^^;
I should also be on all day tomorrow for the same reason lol I'm not going anywhere for a bit

EDIT: Btw, here's one more song I found that I think fits Crow pretty well x3
(After the first stanza)

It does! I think it fits Penelope best though, since she's with someone else when they meet up again cx
Crow lapsed into silence as Penelope explained what had really happened after they had split up at the castle. Though he would never say so out loud, it did sound like her fear of thunder had been the reason why Abraxas had taken the arrow. He averted his gaze uncomfortably. The worst part was that he couldn’t think of anything to say to make her feel better. After all, he knew better than anyone how dangerous it could be to freeze up in the middle of a battle. If he tried to tell her that she was wrong and that she shouldn’t blame herself, then he would be a hypocrite.

“I’m sorry that happened,” he murmured, trying a gentler approach. “But you shouldn’t say that. It’s unfortunate Abraxas didn’t make it out with the rest of us, but don’t sell yourself completely short. You still saved William.” As their hands brushed once more, he grabbed hers, gave it a quick squeeze, and then let go again. “Besides, I’m glad you weren’t the one who died,” he added softly, recalling how terrified he had been when Aeklora had told him only three of them would make it back. Turning to her, he offered a halfhearted smile, “You have no idea how worried I was that I’d never see you again.”

“This looks like a decent place to stop,” William announced from up ahead. They had arrived in a small clearing surrounded by a thick border of trees, far enough from any town that it was unlikely for them to be spotted. The knight turned around to face them, “It’s almost daybreak, so we don’t have long to rest. Penelope, sleep while you can, and I’ll wake you when it’s time for you to take the second watch. We need to get moving again before high noon.”

“I forgot what pleasant company he is,” Crow muttered to her under his breath.

“What was that, Lockton?” William growled.

“Nothing,” Crow said airily, moving to sit beneath a nearby tree as he removed the bow and quiver from his shoulders. He yawned and laid back in the grass, resting his head on his arms. After everything that had happened, he was ready for a good, long nap.
Maybe I've been listening to the LoTR soundtrack too much >>

Crow smirked at William’s back when the knight turned to address Penelope. It had taken a while, but the hot-headed knight finally seemed to be coming around to view him as more than just a detestable criminal. Even if he was merely tolerating him now, the thief would take that over his spiteful outbursts any day.

He trailed behind the other two as they continued to walk away from the citadel, favoring his left leg. Now that the adrenaline of escaping the castle had faded, the wound in his thigh had made itself quite a bit more apparent, sending a shooting pain through him every time he took a step. He looked through the trees around them, trying to focus on keeping watch for night guards as a way to distract himself from it. Despite the ache, he didn’t want to stop until they were far from the Younisian palace.

When Penelope dropped back to walk beside him, he smiled at her, grateful for her presence. He wanted to hold her hand, but was content with the way she walked so closely beside him that their hands touched occasionally. With William nearby, it was the most they could get away with anyhow.

“I’m alright,” he shrugged as she asked how his leg was holding up. “It hurts a bit more after all that running around, but I expected as much. It’s nothing to be concerned about.” He glanced at William for a moment and then turned to her, lowering his voice so the other knight wouldn’t hear him, “How are you doing though? After… what happened, I know your tendency is to blame yourself, but it wasn’t your fault. I’m sure it was just a fluke. You can’t carry the burden of protecting everyone all the time. That’s too much for anyone to handle.”
I just got home, so I'll work on my reply now~

Also, I low key just realized Crow is basically the Frodo of the group now xD
He's the only one that's allowed to carry the staff, but he's definitely not the most well-equipped to protect it
