There's a panhandler who hangs out on the street corner by our dispensary every afternoon with a sign that just says "Green 4 Green?" and tbh, I respect my boy's confidence.

Personal Profile

Name: Taylor
Pronouns: They/them
Age: Mid 20s
Relationship: Married (happily, I might add)
Time Zone: Arizona (we hate daylight savings, so it's MST year-round)
Writing History: I've been on a number of different roleplaying websites for over a decade and a half
Hobbies: Writing, fitness, driving/exploring, hiking, camping, traveling, tabletop games, anything NEW (I love trying things I've never done before)
Roleplayer Profile

Format: 1x1s only. Maybe I'll try a group RP again someday, but I've never had one last longer than a few months
Posting Speed: Depending on my schedule, I can usually post at least once per week
Favorite Genres: Modern, Historical, Romance, Action/Adventure, Horror/Dark, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Dystopian, can be convinced to write some Sci-Fi
Hard 'no's: Fandoms. Sorry, but I can't maintain interest in characters/worlds I didn't build with my partner
Template: Public threads or PMs. I prefer to keep all my RPs in one place, so no emails or G-docs or the like
Rating: Comfortable with 18+ content, but it's not a necessity and I prefer not to center a plot around explicit scenes
Level: Advanced. Will consistently provide around 400-700 words per post, but can occasionally leap to 2000+
Character preference: One main character, but large side casts are greatly enjoyed. Because I write long posts, I prefer not to double
Gender preference: Male. You'll be hard pressed to convince me to play a female that isn't a background character. It's just not my forte
Romantic Relationships: MxF or MxM (currently prefer MxM)
Character Images: Faceclaims or detailed descriptions only. I envision the characters like real people in my mind, so I can't take anime seriously
OOC chat: Yes please! I'm a total extrovert who loves to get to know the amazing minds behind my partners' characters

Eh, I'm just shooting for Cs because I don't want to put in more effort xD
I like my major, but I'm seriously considering just writing novels instead of working for an architect, because I've always liked writing more. I'd probably be happier if I did that even though it wouldn't make as much money.
So now I have even less motivation to try, since I just want to get my degree and be done lol

No worries! I've had to catch up in a few other RPs lately, so I've been busy ^^ Take however long you need!
The roller coaster continues xD

I threw in a fade to black in a slightly different style this time
“Who cares about proper?” Crow grinned at Penelope as she freed her hair from the twine that tied it. “I think this is much more fun.” Her mischievous grin caught him by surprise just before she flipped him onto his back so she was on top. The bed beneath them let out a low groan with the shift in weight, and he smirked to himself, thankful for the stone walls around them that would help to keep the sounds from escaping the knight’s bedchamber. He just hoped no one would happen to hear them through the door.

As she met his lips again, he gripped her by her thighs, enjoying the sudden spontaneity. His eyes tracked her movement when she pulled back again, following her hands as she lifted her dress over her head. It had been weeks since the last time he’d seen her naked, so the sight of her completely bare, straddling his hips with her legs, was intoxicating. He trailed his fingers over her skin, slower this time as he simply enjoyed the view before him.

His arms snaked around her back when she leaned into him a second time, and he returned her kiss with equal desire. “Maybe next time, we’ll switch,” he teased, touching his lips to her cheek. “You wear the tunic, and I’ll wear the dress. Then we’ll be even.” He winked at her jokingly and pressed in to kiss her again, letting her slip off his shirt while he ran his hand over her sensuously.

Clothing fell to the floor in a haphazard heap, and temperatures rose despite the chill in the room. Crow lost his sense of time as he and Penelope closed what little distance remained between them, tangled together in the throes of passion. When it was over, he laid on his side, panting lightly as he held her in his arms. He had pulled the blanket over them to keep the cold air at bay, but now its warmth was tempting him to drift off. He closed his eyes and buried his face into her hair, pulling her to his chest in an embrace.

“I’m going to sleep soundly tonight,” he yawned, smiling dreamily as he nuzzled her neck with his cheek. “I just wish I could sleep right here.”
I think altitude sickness has more to do with the abrupt change from low to high. I got it once when I first moved to the city I'm living in now, but I haven't gotten it since ^^ I've also heard you can avoid it if you stay extra hydrated when you travel to a higher altitude. Eating blueberries is also supposed to help, but I'm not sure why.
Frieda watched Lune with an unreadable expression as the girl declared that she would speak to Rayth by herself. While she was pleased that the girl was willing to overcome her fears for the sake of reconciliation, she disliked the thought of giving her another chance to change her mind and run again. There was no way to insist on accompanying her, though. Not without giving away her distrust. She would just have to have faith that the oracles’ prediction had been correct.
“Very well then,” she nodded approvingly, rising to her full height from the bleacher. “Come this way.”
Leading Lune back into the yard, the faerie strategically placed herself between the girl and the other members of the troupe. Most of her creatures had finished feeding already, but the ground was littered with the unconscious bodies of their victims. Given how the runaway had reacted to just one vampire, she wasn’t about to let her have a direct view of that horrific scene.
Instead, she directed her to the fence, where Rayth was still napping in the grass. The half-vampire hadn’t meant to fall asleep, but between his exhaustion from the long night and the effects of the incense in the air, he’d passed out almost as soon as his head had touched the ground. Now, he was laying sprawled out on his back with one knee up, leaning against the wooden barrier.
Though he was tired, all it took was one call of his name from Frieda to awaken him. He groaned and stretched languidly, groggy from the chemicals that still lingered in his brain, before he sat up to see why the ringmistress wanted him.
The start of a broad yawn escaped his lips but wasn’t completed as his gaze landed on Lune. His breath caught, and he snapped his mouth shut as if hiding his fangs could make her forget they were there. He hadn’t expected to see her again after she’d fled from him in terror.
Frieda noticed his bemused expression.
“Rayth, would you mind talking to my dear Lune for a minute?” the faerie simpered at him. “I think it would do you both good.”
“Sure,” he said slowly, still taking in the situation. Dozens of questions buzzed in his head. Where had Frieda found Lune? Why was she back now? What did she want him to talk to her about? Too discombobulated to get his thoughts in order, he didn’t ask any of them as he climbed to his feet.
“I’ll leave you both to it,” Frieda nodded. “If either of you need anything else, please come and find me.”
As the faerie walked away, Rayth turned toward Lune. He wasn’t sure how to approach her after she had run from him, and he didn’t know what the ringmistress wanted him to say to her either. However, the persisting silence was even more awkward, so he cleared his throat. “So… do you want to go inside?” he asked with a tilt of his head toward the big top. “It’s not as smoggy in there.”
Unbeknownst to them, it's probably the last night they're going to have together for a long time, since John would place the condition that they have to wait until marriage and then all the drama with Felicia is gonna happen ^^;
As Penelope stared up at him, Crow did the same down at her. He couldn’t help but marvel how beautiful she looked in the candlelight, and he wished he’d thought of the gesture sooner. The low light gave her fair skin a warm glow and accentuated every detail and curve of her body with deep shadows. As she gazed at him with so much affection, he felt like the luckiest man alive. Not many others could boast of having such a gorgeous woman who looked at them the way she did.

Technically, he couldn’t boast about it either, since they were keeping their relationship a secret, but instead of letting himself be frustrated by that, he decided to let it drive him. Sneaking away from the party to be with her in the privacy of her bedchamber had been exciting. They were supposed to be making small talk with other nobles right now, not tangling themselves in the sheets. The stakes were high, but they only made it all the more thrilling to be with her tonight.

As she caressed his face, he leaned into her touch, taking in every stroke of her fingers against his jaw. He closed his eyes when she kissed him again and laughed when she nipped his bottom lip. Her playfulness was endearing. He wrapped one hand behind her neck and held her by the waist with the other, letting out a sigh as she moved to the sensitive skin of his neck. The breathy words that followed threatened to send him over the edge, and he bit his lip as a tremor seized his body. “Gods, you make me crazy,” he shook his head, smiling at her incredulously.

The moment Penelope removed his belt was when Crow lost his last thread of self-control. He pressed into her with fervor, kissing her roughly along her neck as his hands located the fastening of her dress. The clothing was flattering on her, but right now, it was in the way. He tugged the strings open and ran his hands over her chest without breaking the work he was doing on her collar. With every article they stripped away, his heart raced even more until he wondered if it might burst. If it did, at least he would have the pleasure of knowing he’d gone out in the best possible way.

Feeling sensual, he trailed his tongue from the base of her neck to her ear, which he took between his teeth before finding her lips again. He kissed her deeply while his fingers tangled in her hair, certifiably undoing the braid it had been meticulously styled into earlier that day. “It’s a good thing we met in your bedchamber,” he joked breathily as he took notice of the damage he was doing to her appearance. “I don’t think you could go anywhere in the castle looking like this.”

Vail grimaced as he heard Peter commanding his cousins to calm down on the other side of the door. He knew he hadn’t thought his actions through when he’d brought Victoria into his home, but he hadn’t expected the decision would cause this much trouble. With the scent of her blood driving his relatives mad, they were essentially trapped in his bedroom. He didn’t have the strength to fight off the full force of the Hygrace clan by himself. The only thing standing between them and the small army of frenzied vampires was his father, who didn’t even want to protect the Crest heiress in the first place. The whole situation was a mess.

He turned away from the door when Victoria’s tormented voice caught his attention. Everything she said was true. His family would not accept, now or ever, a human as his wife. She also did tend to leave a trail of destruction in her wake whenever they were together. However, none of that changed the fact that he had already made up his mind. Even if it was difficult and even if his family didn’t approve, he knew he wanted to be with her. Besides, he had been taking the safe path all his life. It might have allowed him to survive for the past two hundred years, but what was the point of living if he never had something to live for? The fragile human lying on his bed was his reason now.

Crossing to the other side of the room, he set the assortment of supplies in his arms down on the nightstand and returned to his seat on the edge of the mattress. For a moment, he remained quiet, merely studying the details of her face in the dark before he leaned down to press a kiss to her lips. He lingered for a few seconds, capturing her tenderly as he located her cold hand beneath the sheets to hold in his. “I don’t care about any of that,” he breathed when he pulled back again. “Even if it leads to my death, I’d rather spend my last days with you.”

Though the statement was morbid, he meant it with every fiber of his being. Lady Crest had tamed his heart with far more than just her blood. He found every aspect of her personality enchanting. Even when they had gotten under each other’s skin in the beginning, he’d thought her confident spirit was refreshing compared to the demure women he’d interacted with before. He had been slipping since the day they’d met. When they had shared that passionate night at the inn, he’d fallen. There was no going back anymore.

“Don’t blame yourself for any of this either,” he added, stroking her back of her hand with his thumb. “It was my decision to bring you here, not yours. I’ll deal with the repercussions.”
They're both so deprived of touch xD
He practically pounced on her
Delighted by Penelope’s reaction to his impromptu idea, Crow’s mischievous smile turned affectionate. He enjoyed watching her look over the room before his eyes drifted down to the dress that adorned her body. In the low light provided by the candles, the fabric’s gold color seemed to have an unearthly glow to it, adding to the attractive features it already accentuated on her figure. He loved the way it looked on her. He also couldn’t wait to take it off.

“If I do this every time, the novelty will wear off,” the viceroy objected with a laugh. “But I suppose I can try more often since you like it so much.” As her gaze landed on him again, a thrill of excitement shot up his spine, and he wasted no time wrapping his arms around the small of her back when she rushed into him. The feeling of their lips meeting so passionately stole his breath away and made his heart pound in his chest. It had been far too long since they had last been able to kiss each other this way. He hadn’t realized just how much he’d longed to close the distance between them.

When she pulled back, he panted lightly, trying to quell the lightheadedness that had set in while he’d gotten lost in her lips. “I missed you too,” he murmured, closing his eyes as she teased the skin of his neck. Every little touch felt amplified after they had spent so much time apart, and he wondered if tonight, the feeling of her lithe body against his and her slender fingers on his back would drive him mad.

There was only one way to find out.

The mischievous smile returned to his face just before he swept his arm behind Penelope’s legs, lifting her into his arms and carrying her over to the bed. As he set her down on the mattress, he climbed up as well and straddled her hips, leaning down to kiss her again. His hands slid down her sides and then back up again, following the length of her arms until he twined his fingers with hers above her head. Even though he was eager to push for more, there was no rush. No one knew where they were, and no one would come looking for them for hours. He took his sweet time as he trailed his lips against her jawline.

“I’ve wanted you for so long…” he whispered, his voice breathy with desire. He pressed another kiss to her soft lips and met her gaze in the dark. “I love you so much, Penelope.”
