Excuse me for my idiocy, but what exactly is a camp half-blood RP?
Camp Half-Blood is from the Percy Jackson book series. Its a place where all demigod kids go for protection and to train their abilties they inherited from their godly parents (namely the Greek gods). Its more or less about these kids, and their relation to Greek Myth while in the modern setting.
Abilities: Nicholas can use Haki, particularly the Bosushoku Haki. This enables him to reinforce his attacks to deal more damage, and to bypass certain protection a Devil's Fruit user has. Aside from Haki, Nicholas is also an accomplished Roukushiki user. He can use all six techniques efficiently, but he particularly specializes in Soru deeming him the 2nd fastest man in Marine Ford (Kizaru being the first). The technique gives him the usual advantage of moving in high speed, but he has done a couple of variations to it as well, mixing it with other Rokushiki techniques with Haki imbued attacks for extra damage.
Personality: Usually, Nicholas is easy-going, frielndly, and always has a smile on his face. He is loved by his collegues, and even the people who works under him. He is known as a just man, and will stand for what he thinks is right. He is a little stubborn though and hates being held down against his will.
Bio: He came from the island of Pol in East Blue. The island was supposed to be the center of astrological studies, and for thousands of years, it was being inhabited by astronomers and scientist to study heavenly bodies. Both Nicholas's parents were scientists in this island. They were happy for a time, satisfied with what they do and the sense of peacefulness they have in the island, until all of that was taken away when a certain group of pirates invaded Pol. His parents was quick to notice that there was something wrong in town, and so they hid Nicholas along with other important stuff in a cargo crate at the bottom of their basement hoping that no one will notice him there. Nicholas hid all night, he heard explosions, gun fires, sounds of metal clashing, and cries from a far. The sounds tormented him. Scared, he cried long enough that exhaustion soon took over. The next morning when he woke up, he heard voices of men talking just above of his crate. He burst out of his box then screamed on top of his lungs hoping it'll scare them away. Sure they were startled, but they didnt walked away as he expected. The men exchanged looks then one of them lift Nicholas up from the crate. They told him that they are Marines who came to help the villagers from the raiding pirates, but they arrived a little too late and could save only a few. Unfortunately his parents didnt make it. One of the men offered to take care of Nicholas, and with his village destroyed and having no where to go, Nicholas agreed to go with them. From there on out, he trained to become a Marine himself hoping that by doing so he could save lives, and could prevent another tragedy like the one happened to his little island of Pol.
I havent seen a camp half-blood rp in a while. Anyone interested in making one with me? I dont really have any concrete ideas for the plot for now to be honest, I just wanna know if there are some folks here who wanna do it first. But its going to be free roam, with sub plots thats going to require some campers to go on quests or something like that.
The World Government has declared war against the current ruling Yonkou after Akainu's sudden announcement that all pirates having bounties over 100million beli should be rounded up and executed publicly. Some speculates that the announcement was a propaganda thought up by the Celestial Dragons to finally seize total power over the world, but others suspects that an even bigger force was behind all of this. Although the idea seem absurd at first, however, with the not so private amassing of Pacifitas and powerful devils fruit users, the Government has been successful so far, executing over 150 pirates with bounties ranging from 200 to 700 million beli in plain public. Threatened by the turn of events, the Yonkou was forced to form a temporary alliance to strike back. The collision of both powers has tipped the world balanced immensely, and thus started the most anarchic era in history.
The New World has become one of the wretched anarchic zone, what with the Pirates standing their ground and defending their territories against Marine oppressions. Clash between pirates and marines are quite frequent in this region that it has become a common sight. Marines and Pacifitas are everywhere. They scourge the great seas, engaging any ship flying a black flag regardless of their law status. Common folks prefers to huddle in their own homes, while others choose to stay at certain designated evacuation sites provided by their Government. Crime rates grew astronomically, while resources are being hoarded by the World Government.
After his encounter with the three admirals and Akainu himself, Kaido has finally fallen. His remaining troops has scattered wounded in the New World, some joined the remaining Yonkous, while the others choose to stay hidden. This has been a huge blow to the pirate side, and so to ensure their power, the Yonkou has been secretly holding councils deciding as to who would replace Kaido's place, and fast. Many rookies has risen in terms of rank and fame within a short perios of time, even making it to the short list of candidates. The ascension of a new Yonkou is to be announced in three days time.

OOC clip from Interest Check: The RP takes place during the preamble of the war, specifically right after Kaido's execution, and from there, we will go deeper into the cause of it all and then finally to the war itself (hopefully) as we progress. Everyone will start off as rookies (for pirates) running wild in the New World, but would eventually form Alliances to help out fight The World Government. The first half of the story will focus on forming connections and fortifying and formulating advances against the Marines. On the other hand should you choose to be on the Marine side, your main focus is to impede pirate advancement and crippling down their forces by capturing and executing as many of them as you can.
