Teres face slid into a more serious expression as Michael spoke about his attempted suicide, the topic made her slightly uncomfortable but she knew it mustn’t be easy for him to talk about it either. Lost for what else to say she simply reached over and put her hand on his arm and she said in a more serious tone “Well if you ever feel like doing that again… don’t. Come talk to me or someone else” she hesitated briefly before adding “I’d like to think you are my friend Michael, and you too Danny, so if that friend comes back tell me and I will sort him out for you”.

She smiled trying to make light of the situation, but she had to admit she was a little thankful when Maddy spoke and her attention was drawn elsewhere.

Teres nodded at her offer to show her the chore board, it was something she wasn’t looking forwards to but knew she would have to get used to. It wasn’t that she was lazy after all, it was just that she slightly resented that it was yet another thing expected of her that she apparently had no control over. Standing and putting the book that had been open on her lap back into the shelf, turning to Michael she asked with another smile “coming?” before she made her way through the house with Maddy to the dining room.

As they approached she heard Erik’s voice ring down the corridor as he called "Dinner!".

Emerging into the dining room her eyes went to the table, everything laid out in such a way that she paused and couldn’t help but express a sound of half wonder half impressed. Was it always so fancy at dinner she wondered? As she did Erik stood and gestured to the seat beside him and she grinned as she looked at him, seeing again that he looked… well she thought he looked pretty damn good. She felt a very brief flush as she realised that maybe she was starting to like him, but quickly averted her gaze and blurted out “Thanksabuncherik” stumbling over her words just a little. She wanted to sit down beside him immediately but reluctantly followed Maddy to the board. Glancing through their names she saw that it had been Erik who had laid out the table for dinner and she found herself hoping it was to impress her, because if it was, it was working. Looking at her own name beside Michaels she saw that the pair of them had been given the task of doing and drying the dishes after dinner and she suppressed a little groan at the thought of the task (though she certainly didn’t mind that she was doing it with him). Turning back to the table she swiftly sat where Erik had motioned for her to, for the first time feeling like she might be able to stomach a meal as the feeling of sickness and fatigue had slightly abated through the evening. ‘Definitely the meds’ she thought to herself, again vowing to avoid them tomorrow.

She took a moment to appreciate the layout of the tables and the napkins again, before reaching for hers to place it on her lap. She smiled again as a flower dropped into her lap and she shot a meaningful glance at Erik to show her appreciation, though she kept it concealed as she saw the message written along the petals and gave him a quick nod to show she’d definitely be there.

Master Kasari lifted a finger to her lips, a gesture that Moryr understood before they both turned their attention to the pair in the centre of the room. Initially she saw nothing else aside from what was obvious, though it took her only a few moments to realise that Arren Kae was manipulating the force in such a way that she was projecting a vision into the padawan, the complexity and details of which left a feeling of somewhat awe in the young knight. As she opened herself to the force and began to observe the situation she felt a tingle creep through her body at the sheer affinity that Arren Kae had. To say that the force flowed freely through her would have been an understatement, it was more like a torrent that burst forth from every seam and pore.

It appeared to Moryr as she watched in eager interest that the exercise here was intended to help the young woman better understand the necessity of using violence when there was no alternative – a lesson that Mudarr had little trouble instilling in herself. A prang of sadness surfaced once more as her thoughts turned to her previous master, before she again trust them away and focused on Xeviiy and the mercenaries. As the situation continued to unfold as the tall woman beside her leant close and whispered “Is this your first time seeing Arren Kae in action as well? She’s certainly… interesting, isn’t she?”

Keeping her eyes on the pair Moryr matched her tone and volume as she nodded and whispered “Her connection to the force… It is humbling to observe”. She would have continued but at that point the remaining mercenary charged with his vibroblade drawn and there was a clash and crackle as it met with Xeviiy’s lightsaber.

Moryr could not help but think that if it was her in her place that she already would have struck, ensuring that the mercenaries had fallen before they could have harmed another of the farmers, but she knew that to observe and to participate were two very different things and she did not think any less of the Padawan for trying to resolve the situation without the need for violence, but indeed she realised that it must have been a lesson she needed to be taught.

As she continued to watch, now invested in the success of Xeviiy she unconsciously urged the woman to cut the man down swiftly, for it was clear to her that if he were real the galaxy would be a far better place without his stain, a fact she had come to believe about those who would readily do harm onto others for nothing but their own selfish benefits. It was a fine line for a Jedi to walk, but walk it none-the-less they must. Moryr found herself unconsciously flexing her claws, a habit she often did when excited or overly interested in the outcome of a situation.
Okay so monday beat me several times with a big stick and left me bleeding in a ditch, so not sure how much I will get done or if it will be up today or not. (not literally fortunately) just a loooong hard day. Just thought I'd give ya'll a heads up as to my tardiness.
*fingers in ears* lalala...

Okay so maybe it’s my fault but I still haven’t seen the new movie… I’ve avoided spoilers so far… but I really should get around to watching that.

Also I have fallen behind! Will do reading and writing and get a post up asap today!
I’m still lurking here and my thoughts are percolating somewhat very slowly. Nothing is springing into my mind faction wise aside from a few failed attempts which I’ve ended up discarding.

Loving all the current factions though so definitely going to continue lurking.

So far I believe I’m leaning towards some kind of aquatic mercenary lizard-type folks. So they’d be definitely interested in working with/for many of the factions already put forwards. That being said though I’m apparently rather uninspired at the moment, but will keep working on it.
Drinks with a Jawa?

Good post :-)
Moryr Ruzim
Coruscant

Moryr sat perfectly still as her senses extended all-around of her, the hum of life was almost deafening as she controlled her breathing and continued to calm her mind as she sensed the force around her. It was still somewhat strange to her, to feel such a huge concentration of life clustered together with layers upon layer of the city around her filled with thousands and millions of lifeforms both sensitive in the force and those who were not. Despite her attempt to remain focused her mind wandered slightly as her thoughts again turned to the council and the other Jedi who surrounded her, her thoughts returning to the decision they had made and the past week at the temple.

They had long schooled her on the danger of romantic connections and lectured her on the relationship between the fallen Cathar Jedi Crado and his life mate Sylvar and how their relationship had led to his fall to the dark side alongside Exar Kun. They had explained again and again how their feelings would lead them away from the path of the light side and into the darkness - to the point they were convinced she had accepted their opinions and she had promised each of them that she would abstain from working alongside or even seeing Mudarr in the future. Her thoughts turned to his own fate, wondering if he would be punished more severely due to his position of authority and what they undoubtedly would see as an abuse of his position. She found herself hoping that they would be lenient with him, for he truly like her only wished to do good and serve the Jedi faithfully.

Opening her eyes she sighed aloud as she realised that her attempts at meditation had once more failed, her mind simply unable to stay away from the questions and doubts that still plagued her. Moryr resisted the urge to chastise herself, feeling more than dejected she tried to push the feelings aside as she stood and flexed her arms and legs as a sudden urge of restlessness swept over her and she felt the need to distract herself from her thoughts. Normally she would have engaged Mudarr in discussion or a metal exercise, failing that a practise duel or other physical contest of some type. But she knew that such things were no longer an option, and seeing how she herself was now a Jedi Knight as opposed to a Padawan she felt that she should be able to operate more independently without the need to lean on another individual so much.

Leaving the small room that was hers she began to walk brusquely through the large halls and corridors that intertwined through and around the temple, unsure to begin with which exact direction she was heading in. As she walked her eyes darted to each Jedi she passed in the halls, the majority of them politely nodding their heads or murmuring a greeting – gestures which she mirrored despite her gloomy mood. Eventually she found herself stood atop one of the large ornate bridges that swept over what could have been called an atrium of kinds, the combination of smooth metal and living plants that swept through the buildings gave it a somewhat tranquil appearance, something she was grateful for. She paused and glanced down at the numerous individuals and groups that were making their way to a fro across the floor of the lobby and she watched them somewhat uninterestedly for several minutes before she turned her attention back to herself and her course of action.

She longed for something to do, some assignment or other task that could occupy her – but no such instructions had been presented to her. She stood wondering if the council would see fit to assign anything to her again, assuring herself that surely she would be of use one way or another. Eventually her thoughts turned to what she could do in the meantime and it occurred to her that if nothing else she could perhaps make herself useful in the archives or the library – after all there was always more information to be catalogued and sorted, more information to be sifted through and analysed. Soon she found herself once more making her way through the uniform corridors before she arrived within the colossal structure that was the archives.

A few moments later she felt her attention drawn to one of the study rooms that sat aside from the library just several doors down, through the force she felt the presence of several individuals engaged in what she quickly assumed was some kind of training exercise. Her curiosity took a hold of her legs as she steered herself closer, her eyes finding a pair stood towards the centre of the room. She herself remained at the edge of the room, her feelings of uncertainty forgotten at least for the time being as she watched with her curious feline eyes, not wanting to intrude more than her presence already was. She silently made her way along the edge of the room to come and stand beside a tall woman who was watching the pair in the centre of the room, bowing her head in greeting as she did. She recognised only Master Arren Kae in the centre of the room, one of the many more accomplished members of the order – the silver haired woman practically hummed with the force as she and the younger woman faced each other. Normally Moryr would not have imposed without a prior invitation, however in her current mood she hoped that the intrusion would not be opposed as she watched with interest eager to distract herself from any wandering thoughts.
