People were mulling around, coming in for the call that Jarvis had put out. Thankfully by now Ariel had become accustomed to most of their magics even if she hadn't started to exhibit them. Partly out of defense, partly for fun, she switched to her Charm personality and suddenly remembered that she wanted to help Nolan out. Since his return he had seemed rather down. What happened while he was out she couldn't tell but one thing was for sure, he could use a little cheering up. Had she a more discerning mind she probably would have left him alone.

Last time she just popped up next to him though and freaked him out. That would not do for getting him to relax. So this time she stepped up on the upstairs railing and held one hand out. Drawing back her other hand her magic formed what looked like a pink bow and arrow. Since their last encounter she'd been working on her magic just for this. Ariel had been making claims that she would cure Nolan of his fear no matter what. A fool's errand. With the bow mostly being for show the real magic was in the arrow. Letting it fly it shot toward his back where his heart would be.

Not particularly paying attention to her own footing she slipped and fell to the floor below, arms and legs flailing. Picking herself up she brushed herself off. There was no time to worry about the pain, she must admire her handwork. Surely another personality would complain abut the bumps and bruises. Skipping over the popped up be Nolan. "Nolan! I'm not giving up on you yet" Not staying still she whirled around to his other side to see if he was reacting any different. Why move? No idea.

Over the last two weeks the multi magic mage began to learn quite a bit more about her unique condition. The why was still unknown but some particular patterns were beginning to emurge. First was, while she gained access to a new magic, that didn't mean she instantly knew how to use it well. Each also started with a rather small magic reserve. So while she could start doing a lot of things it wasn't for extended periods like the original owner. Working at it though she could make it stronger, but it took time and practice. Some lent well to their use, such as the Charm magic picked up from Prince. It was more emotionally driven and the personality that went with it made it much easier to wield.

Charm Ariel was quite a different creature, impulsive but in a friendly way. A Prince lite if you would. But that might just be because she was a girl, without cat features, or freakishly tall. Yes getting into people's business was what she did. Before Nolan went off on his own she practically gave him a heart attack trying to get him to open up and stop being afraid of women. As one might expect that did not go over well. But in the mean time she joined up with the remaining Team Powder Keg members for jobs. That gave her some much needed experience and understanding of what her abilities did. In addition to Charm, Ariel also picked up Ice magic while on a job with Amaya and Darkness from being around Sayuri back at their apartment. As one might expect Ice had a cold demeanor and was very pointed about things. Darkness was very much the opposite of Light. While light was very cheerful Darkness was apathetic toward nearly everything.

Somewhere in all that Ariel still hadn't quite gotten the handle of the personalities. She would switch at the whim of her emotions, goals, and any addition of new magic. The expanding pellet was starting to make a more well rounded person, even if it did bounce around a lot. Right now though she was getting her pay from the last job and in her Light state. She needed to start paying her part of the rent and catch up on the first month. So far so good with that.

Alright so Ariel is going to be working with the remaining members of Team Powder Keg for the two week skip. She needs some money so that would work out well. In this case I'll ask you if you think Ariel would have picked up their magic during that time.

Name: Caroline and Carolyn Bowen

Grade: Junior

Codename: Solar Eclipse

Powers: The first result of her powers manifesting was Caraline splitting into two people. While technically the same person they can move about and do things independently. Being opposites they are drawn to each other at all times and distance apart weakens their powers. When they are close they seem to have a mental link with which to share information. Extended periods of separation (several days) results in uncontrolled bursts of the opposite "twin's" power.

Solar (Caroline): Usually dons white and is capable of manipulating and produce beams of light. These beams are able to burn objects or temporarily blind people.

Eclipse (Carolyn): Usually dons black and is able to manipulate and produce shadows. The shadows are able to take on physical properties so long as she is in direct contact with them.

Clubs or Achievements: Caroline is very active in the student body. Acting in the student council she plays a part in many school related student activities and events. Because of what she does most likely see her as the overachieving control freak. At one time she participated in cheerleading and photography club but a lot of her time is eaten up nowadays. She is always looking for another great idea to pitch.

Brief Bio: Caroline grew up in a family of workers. Both her mother and father had full time jobs but always found time in the evening and weekends to spend with their daughter. Some children might not like that kind of situation but for the young girl it was a source of inspiration. If her parents were working hard then so would she. At least that was the idea. School seemed to get in the way of that until she joined the cheerleading squad.

While it was great working with a team she felt there was more she could do and began to dabble more in the political aspects of the school. Finding a particular liking and knack for organization and planning she took on several tasks. Over time she worked her way up to student council where Caroline felt she could make the most difference. There she and the other members coordinated numerous events, fundraisers, and activities. One day word reached her of a party being arranged that many students were going to. Curious about how this had slipped past them she planned to attend, if for no other reason but to see what was up. But hey, it's a party. Who really needs an excuse to go to one of those?
