@Caits Sleeping in a bit Ariel was actually given a chance to stabilize. The other days she was here she was getting bombarded by magic. Eventually she did wake up though feeling much more refreshed. Finding that she still had the wings confirmed that the events of the other day were not a dream. Her memories were still a little hazy though and was a little confused as to where she was. Getting up from the couch she meandered her way around the hotel room before realizing that Penny was already up and in the shower. Not wanting to disturb her Ariel decided to head out of the room. Hindsight probably would tell her otherwise though.
The hallway was a little more open with higher ceilings, which Ariel took full advantage of. Oblivious to others that may be around Ariel picked this spot to stretch. Crossing her arms over her head she leaned back a bit. Though that probably wasn't much compared to the spectacle of her wings spreading out to their full length, nearly 16 feet across. Much like her arms she lifted her wings up and the feathers splayed out until she retracted them again. Letting out a soft sigh she glanced around and noticed people looking at her. "Uhm... Hello." She waved slightly and smiled sheepishly. The faces were familiar but she couldn't entirely place names to most of them yet.
@Caits ..... It's day five already? Damnit I wasn't done yet XD I might've been if my internet didn't die and my ah hamstring didn't kill itself
You could probably close things out before moving on to the next day. With how RPs work sometimes you have to retroactively explain what's happened. Flashbacks work too.
When Kijani entered, Medora was familiarizing herself with the the schedule. Much of these classes seemed entirely unnecessary. Many sounded like perfect examples of why Inhumans avoided the outside world. Looking away from the page she examined the one coming toward her. A typical human as far as Medora could tell. And straight to the point she answered the first question. "I am. It is good to meet you." The statement wasn't entirely genuine, but it would have been the same had anyone else shown up. Regardless of how she felt she did not want to be rude. Her task was to coexist with humans, at least for the foreseeable future.
Being asked what class she had next Medora consulted the schedule in her hand. "I was told I could choose a class this session. Do you have a recomendation?" In truth she wasn't entirely sure what to expect from most of the classes.
Let me just inform you all that this is a post about a guild, that I believe doesn't care about anyone. It's purely a courtesy post to inform people that are thinking of joining it, or doing dealings with it, that it's more trouble than it's worth.
That guild's name is EPIC Legion in Tamreil. The EPIC stands for, in a full of itself way, Excellence Proven In Combat, but the creator is anything but a strong or even decent player in ESO. They think because they have had this guild in other games that they are awesome, when in fact they are average at best.
But this is a side track.
The hierarchy in this guild is, for lack of a better word corrupt. They believe it is their way or the highway. And if they have a problem with you, rather then come to you and discuss it, they will cowardly go behind your back and arrange it so you will be kicked. So if you have a different opinion to them, well tough luck.
In my time with this guild there were only ever a handful of people that helped me, and these people I have informed of what has happened and to stay in contact with them.
Essentially I was removed from the guild because, in defending myself against some people not even in the guild (defending myself against harassment and abuse I might add), I offended an officer. And rather than come to me and inform me I had offended them, they arranged a meeting and essentially put me on trial, where I was unable to defend myself.
Upon messaging the creator to ask why I had been kicked, I was given a load of crap, and told there had been evidence that was weeks (if not months) old. The fact is I had not been active on the Facebook page or the guild as I hadn't felt welcome for a while. Let's face it, they wanted me gone and this incident was the perfect excuse.
If you join this guild, you must be aware that if you take a toe out of line, or contradict them, or have a different opinion then you will be removed.
And you won't find much help. As previously mentioned there were only ever a handful of people that helped, myself being one of them, with crafting and the likes. It's an incredibly clicky guild, and the creator and most of the officers are only in it for themselves. The few officers I have contracted, have been thanked for standing up for me. They can't make a difference in the guild because, let's face it, the other officers are brown nosing the creator.
In short, be wary of the hierarchy. If you join this guild, you won't get much help, you will find that while there are some people who are good in the guild, a majority are not. Also be wary of the fact that this guild sprang from another guild, one which was falling apart and this one has been on shaky grounds for a while.
I am aware that this is just a game, but you expect loyalty among friends, which I thought those in the guild were. Evidently not. So be wary of EPIC legion of Tamreil. I wasn't going to include names, but why should I offer them that curtesy? So be wary of Excidium 007, xXAlerianaXx and I GOT AMNESIA (formerly known as A Thug Prophet).
Regards, and good luck if you join EPIC.
