Music Appreciation Thread

@Heat The instrumentals were perfect and on point. That said, they were neither daring nor original. The song lyrics were forgettable as well as the vocals. It seemed that the whole song was playing it safe, which is a bad move in the world of art.

The music video itself was very low budget. The premise itself wasn't original either. If you're one of the biggest "metal" bands in the world, and you're doing a music video with an unoriginal concept, then why not spend a little more money so you'll look like you give a damn? It seems that metallicas best days are behind it.

At the very least I didn't cringe. I was just bored. The instrumentals were perfect though. Don't take it personally.

Just catching up on more sleep. I usually like to leave it up to the imagination of the reader to determine what a character looks like. That said, I do appreciate your efforts to represent them visually.

OK so I might redraw Rolo becuase I don't like how he turned out. This was good body shape practice, though. I also tried a different art style so it might not look as good as some of my previous sketches. Switch looks too bishie to me. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.

I'm the exact same height as Switch.

I also love those genres! I'm also into V A P O U R W A V E. Not to mention j-rock, a little k-pop, rnb from the early 2000s, indie rock, and a bit of theatrical metal. I've always been a fan of modern classical music as well.

@TwelveOf8 Yeah Corrine is a shorty. But the tallest brother is 6'5 which is Lenny. So hes still shorter than Rolo. And Im just gonna say this right now, put of all the gang members, Rolo is my favorite. For.... Personal reasons.

"Yeah, I look like a total dweeb huh." said Divo. His cheeks blushed noticeably. "Just so ya know, we're only wearing these dweeby outfits on boss's orders."

"Also, to answer your question little lady, we all go here. All us guys." Divo stated. "We may look big and mean, and we are. We can totally kick the ass outa any adult, any day. Really though, we're just a bunch of crazy high school cats." he explained.

"So, what you doin on the floor? You wasted or somthin?" Divo asked. An impressed grin spread across his face.

My pleasure. Yeah, I agree that some kids won't wear them because of their rebellious nature. But it would make sense that the school would try to crack down hard on gang clothing in particular.
