Marcus looks tired. Bags beneath his eyes could display the contents of a hardworking life-- lower-middle class and full of farming and fieldwork. A crown of dreadlocked hair rests upon his head, flowing down to his shoulder-blades, and usually held back only by sheer luck or the occasional hairband. Marcus has a lithe figure, unimpressive in height, that possess the work muscle for plowing. All of his facial features could be described as weak, rounded, a little feminine, and almost handsome. He walks about with his hands in his pockets and abysmal posture-- actually having developed a permeate curvature of the spine from constant slouching. His skin is the dark brown of freshly turned soil and bears scars around the elbows and knees from plenty of childhood roughhousing.


History:
Marcus was born and raised in Corinth-- a farming town no one could find on a map. He is the oldest of four children. All his life, he has worked the fields at his mother's side, focused on learning everything he possibly could from her. Marcus took it to heart when, one day, a farm down the road burned down, killing the one person responsible for maintaining the field, and leaving the family without any way to recover income. Marcus has sought to learn the trade and to educate his siblings in that regard as well.

He's lived an uneventful life-- home schooled with early starts to his days and late nights. His mothers raised him as well as they could, though they often struggled to make ends meet. As soon as he was able, Marcus took a job at a local grocery store and did as much as he could to bring in funds to the household. Everything was going well up until Marcus became ill. Soon after, they came from him, explaining that he needed to go with them to live in the facility. Though his parents told him not to worry about their situation, Marcus still couldn't help but feel deep guilt at being removed from his household but, then again, they said it was for the best, right?
