My laptop is relatively old. But the issue is not that anything is broken, its just that, between this thing's age and what it was made for, audio isn't really on the map for focus. Heck, I never even used the laptop's audio for anything until I did Youtube related stuff.

I know the people of this planet come to this island to pay tribute to Castorr every so often, out of a fear for natural disasters. The people keep him fed and well off, and he ensures the planet maintains conditions under which food can be bountifully grown, seas are always safe to traverse, and nature almost never causes a death... It's a shame that this system is about to succumb to conflict in a world they aren't even aware of.

That is a long list. Fortunately, we have the advantage of being able to lay ou the playing field in our favour for at least some of those things, if I don't misunderstand Miss Painting Dye's powerset.

Heh, a long list of things. Just assume that he can manipulate just about any raw force of nature. Gravity, magnetism, raw energy, fire, electricity. Even some things I haven't mastered yet, like space and time.

If it relies on some sort of gadget or object, keep the pressure on so he can't use it. If its telepathic, or as simple as pressing a big red button, then we do what we can while understanding that we may not succeed in that department.

I mean, that could be something that determines it, especially if offspring aren't guaranteed to have the ability, because no one else in my family, Ridge included, has ever had the ability to utilize them, or read text like you see on the walls around you.
