Bio

I got into Roleplaying, er more specifically Post by Post Roleplaying around, I think it was four years ago? It feels much longer than that. My good friend whose now far too busy in college introduced me. He wanted by make a Mass Effect RP for his younger brother, or Cousin, something along those line. The games series was far to mature for someone of his age but he felt he could make a family friendly RP. And while that never panned out, I was hooked. Fast forward to the present day and I'm an avid RP and casual writer. I mainly prefer Fallout RPs, and am working on my own which will take place in the fictional Lore of Alaska. But it's far from ready. Between my laziness and my workload of various RPs and Videogames I am often rather busy. Yet I always find myself exceptionally bored. So I like contemplating Philosophical Conundrums.

Sorry, the "m" was just a typo, I'll fix it.

Also, the I could be reading the question wrong, but the demon attack and the space station and all that good stuff happened in Lost Haven, not New York (in fact, I'm sure I'm reading that wrong....damn sleep deprivation). New York is pretty much an open book.

Well not entirely. I'm sure those would be major Headlines covered by every media outlet. So regardless of where it took place any average citizen would know of it. But good to know nothing major has hit New York. I plan for a The City vibe off it's local Heroes, or the street level ones at least. Those lesser known champions of justice serving Evil the apple pie slice of righteousness!
@Carantathraiel That's a lot of grass to wack. But I'm sure you know someone who can handle that.. If you know what I mean.. Sometimes I wish I had a Yard but then I laugh at all my neighbors who have to mow.
jesus fucking christ.
Okinawa, i hate your humidity.

I will not miss mowing this giant yard when we leave.

Are we talking about grass, or something else here?
Currently listening to old 50s songs, all Fallout in theme. I'm so hyped for Fallout 4 right now.
Because we're less weird in real life.
*Pops in* Hey guys, anything new? Anyone expecting Fallout 4?
<Snipped quote by VATROU>

Icon stopped a space station from crashing into the city. Polemos, Icon, and Captain Liberty appeared on live television wrecking Sherman Square recently. Uhhh..An alien tried to assassinate a big-time business man. That's all that I can think of, off the top of my head.

Well haven't we been busy. Also why is there an "M" Randomly in Eva's name on the character page? Vatrou-Eva "Mouse"m Walsh.

And who is Captain Liberty? That a random Hero?
Finally got another post up, got off my lazy butt and went to work. Ah that felt good to get done, made a slight edit explaining that it happened months earlier. So for my next post there'll be a quick summary as Eva is discharged. Then I'm current with the timeline. Is there anything of note in New York, besides some of characters Dedonus has? Anything that the average citizen would know about, besides the massive Demon invasion.
Eva ‘Mouse’ Walsh

Months earlier.. Before D-Day and the current events.

I was flying through the clouds as if my body was weightless, nothing tethered me to the ground. The wind blew across my face as I punched through fluffy clouds, it was fantastic like nothing I had felt before. And then he appeared Arthur, and my dreamworld had shifted to that of a medieval castle. We were standing next to a lush garden and I couldn’t tell if any of this was real.

I looked at him confused.“You said your name was Arthur, of Arthurian Legends?

Yes. None other.” He said as he floated about next to the flowerbed.

So.” I said looking about. “Is this, real?” Arthur chuckled.”No my dear, this is your dreamworld. A Ghost of my power can do many things, such as infiltrate one’s dreams. Although It’s far easier with one of a similar wavelength, such as a descendants or a Medium, a Psychic if you will.

I gazed towards the gardens of roses, daisies and saw birds chirping away as they danced from flower to flower. “This is not my dreamworld, I happen to hate all these things. But if I’m here, where's my body.

Don’t worry about that, you’re in the finest of medical care. An Ambulance has already delivered you to a Hospital.” Arthur said as he began floating slowly past the flower garden. “And this, I had to alter your Dreamworld for a better locale to have a proper conversation.

I walked alongside him, it wasn’t like there was anywhere else to go. “Right. Hospital, this invasion of privacy aside. I need to inform the Police about what happened.” Arthur cocked one of his ghostly eyebrows.”Wouldn’t you rather have revenge? A lot has transpired in the last few hours, and you now have that power. You have Excalibur’s power.

Listening to Arthur I had to admit, I wanted them to pay for what they did, they needed to hurt. But I also knew something about all of this was wrong, Metahumans of that caliber don’t just break into a Museum and steal priceless art. There’s no way I would ever know, but I wanted to. I wanted to know why my friends were murdered, I lowered my head.”My friends were killed for something, and I need to know why. And a part of me wants to hurt them. But I’m not sure I can handle this, I’m not a Metahuman how can I compete on their level..

Arthur drifted closer handing Eva a dreamworld copy of Excalibur.”You learn to wield it, you learn to use it like an extension of your body. In my day I fought Monsters and Witches, Slayed armies and built my Kingdom. It was beyond the power of a normal man, and I nearly lost my life on dozens of occasions if it weren’t for my loyal friends. That’s how one rises to the occasion. And I’ll teach you what you need to know.

My head rose slightly higher as I looked at Arthur’s face, he shined like a beacon. An I wanted to believe everything he said. “So I’ll be able to master Excalibur and track down those who wrong me?” Arthur clearly tried his best to stifle his laughter.. But he broke out into a roaring laugh that echoed throughout the gardens. “Master, Excalibur!? Goodness no. It’ll take years just to master the basics of sword fighting. But. You’ll learn eventually. I am a trained Master, so even I can whip you into fighting shape.

Arthur waved his hand over the landscape and the world shifted into that of a training field with dummies and an obstacle course.”For now I’ll drill the basics into you as you sleep. It is unfortunate that the doctors say you’ll be bedridden for months, but at least here there won’t be any interruptions.

Great.” I said sarcastically. “So where is the real Excalibur?

That.” Arthur paused.”It’s in a safe place hidden in the Hospital’s walls. Well sort of, it’s in the air ducts.
Chapter 13

The Forest - A Days Out from Cordova - 7:45 PM

Claire lead the Worca towards the tree line of the Forest while he watched Jonathan circle around waiting for Claire to get into position while he decided the best angle of approach. Jonathan knew that whilst he was formidable not every Slaver would succumb to his Psyker abilities; that is to say the immense fear his gigantic projected form assails upon his enemies. He would need to put his trust squarely in the hands of Claire for this battle to be in their favor.

The Docks were the Slavers worked was on a slight hill overlooking the waters’ edge, the ground extending from that the ground flattened out although rocks were littered about. A number of carts fashioned from the husks of cars and boats sat nearby with chains dangling from the sides.

Jonathan looked toward the Slavers through his binoculars, he could tell two, maybe three of them were inexperienced for this line of work. One of them a young man barely out of his teens thrusted his hips into the air in front of a helpless female captive probably trying to impress her or the group, she looked older but not by much. Another head clean shaven with some sort of tribal tattoos down the sides of his skull, he held his rifle with only a few fingers as it hung on his right side by a single hand. The last possible one is an unassuming male, he didn’t have any markings of a hardened Slaver, no inks or scars even his weapon was average an old varmint rifle. His powers would likely work on those three; It’s the last four that bothered him. He could tell by the way they dressed, and acted they were professionals. The four of them wore more protective armor, they even had pieces of combat armor imbedded into their gear. They held their weapons securely and took no interest in what the young boy was doing. Thier only concern was unloading the shipment. These were the ones to focus on, and Jonathan hoped Claire could pick them out.

On the other side of the clearing where Claire had set up, he had the Slavers in his sights as he took a moment to see Jonathan giving a few quick flashes from his flashlight. Claire opened fire on one of the leaders taking his left eye out and removing him as a threat. The Slavers were quick to react as they searched for the Sniper; Jonathan jammed a Slasher into his arm before he charged down the middle, his towering form sent the rookies into a panic as he aimed down his rocket launcher right into another veteran, the slaver looked in shock through his goggles as he tried to scramble out of the way. But the explosion took a chunk out of his leg, throwing him to the ground.

Claire had just finished off the last of the rookies, they had tried to run, the young kid tossed his gun and took off, but before he reached the forest a round tore through his neck. The other with the tattoos hid behind the carts. It took some careful shooting but Claire sent a round through his ankle leaving him writhing in pain and his head exposed as he tumbled to the ground. The last one had almost regained his bearings as he shot Jonathan a few times in the back, but the small rounds didn’t have enough penetration power to punch through the armor. A shot to his leg and another his lungs sent the Slaver to the ground crashing onto a large rock.

The other veteran took himself a hostage the woman from earlier. He held her tightly with his gun pressed against her temple, he yelled out through his teeth that were chipped away and broken.

“STAY BACK - OR I’LL BLOW HER BRAINS OUT!! THEY’LL LOOK REAL NICE ALL OVER MY ARMOR!”

The Slaver dragged her back along with him towards the docks, while Jonathan not wanting to risk rushing him tried to circle around. The Veteran from earlier with his leg blown off regained consciousness and although bleeding to death he reached for a grenade and chucked it over with all his strength. The grenade landed feet away from Jonathan as the other Veteran took off running towards the boat dragging the woman along by her wrist.

Jonathan had no choice but to seek out cover, whereas Claire had a better shot. The woman trailed to the right side of the Slaver leaving him exposed on the left. Claire shot a round into his shoulder blade, as he dropped over the side of the boat the woman ran towards the Rangers in a mix of terror and elation.

Claire left the trees and joined up with Jonathan as the woman fell to his feet. “There’s eight more of us on the boat.”

“Don’t worry ma'am, we’ll free the rest of them.”

Claire looked towards the boat as it bobbed up and down in the water; the Slaver’s head barely hanging off its edge. “We did good. Let’s free the rest of them and see if the Slavers of Santa’s Sweatshop left any goodies behind. I could go for a few cold drinks.”

“And we got ourselves a boat, should make reaching Cordova easier. Well let’s get to work.” Jonathan said as he strutted over to the docks.
