Time for E3^2, where the industry comes out and announces the games you want rather than the games they are making.

The map would make no sense for that era, since the majority of those tribes wouldn't exist yet, and the Parthians would still be in power.

But if you guys want to do early Empire, that is cool too, though in that case i'll probably have to withdraw. I can only RP so much, so i'm saving my energy for just a few ideas.

How you feel about reading books after roleplaying

I think it has helped me read critically by quite a lot. I can read and see why the author chose certain word combinations, or plot structures. In turn, I think being able to read professional work critically has helped me to improve my own writing.
