Diana was relieved when the man sent the hound back to Tarterus but it still left a lot of questions. Who controlled the beast? How was this man involved? She calmly began reeling her lasso in and retying it to her hip and then sheathing her sword. When the man began to speak, her eyes narrowed, meddling with the gods was never a good idea and starting a war with Hades and Tarterus was an even worse one.

Still, she would aid this man if only because his personal war had spilled over and now affected innocent people. That she could not allow to continue, she glanced at the Young woman when she offered her help. She was an unknown quantity but Diana would be willing to work with her for the common good. The man however clearly thought differently disappearing suddenly.

Diana sighed. "Of all the selfish ignorant..." She took a deep breath and calmed herself. "Tell me." She addressed the Young woman. "You wouldn't happen to know him or where he went?"
Diana was right behind the strange man and she frowned when she saw the creature. "One of Hades's hounds." She said in surprise. "Whilst she had come up against them from time to time they were not common. She wondered why it was here, and more importantly who held the leash, Hades or someone else?

But she would ponder that later, she nodded at the man's words but before she could act a ball of what appeared to be shadow struck the hound. She looked around when she thought what she heard was words, but couldn't see anyone. Something else to ponder later. She unhooked her lasso and deftly caught it around the hound. Then with her considerable strength she yanked it forward and as it was pulled towards her she lashed out with a leg, the strength behind the blow and the creatures momentum caused it to hit the ground hard.

But this was a hound from Tarterus and was not so easily defeated, it struggled to it's feet still surrounded by shadow and caught in her lasso. It snarled at her and Diana responded by tightening the lasso and yanking the beast sideways crashing it into a wall. But the beast was crafty and next time she tried it dug it's claws in and refused to move. She dropped the lasso and strode forward attacking it with her sword.

It wouldn't kill the creature but it would certainly keep it occupied as her sword hurt it. She continued to slash and parry waiting for the man to use whatever spell he was conjuring.
Diana was surprised when he jumped to his feet and took off his glasses. His appearance altered and a far more interesting person showed through. Diana did not recognise him but he clearly wasn't a normal human with that hair and glowing eye.

When he said he guessed she was an amazon she wasn't really surprised. She'd never been good at hiding but it showed she needed to work on that. Nodding she stood and her bearing was different now, that of a warrior even if she still currently wore civilian clothing.

"If you are referring to Tarturus the Greek underworld then yes I am very familiar with it unfortunately. By Hera if that is what is causing this then I will take great pleasure in ending it."

As she spoke she was already moving towards the scream, and as soon as she was out of sight she spun in a circle faster than the eye could follow. When she stopped Diana Princess of Themyscira and demi goddess stood garbled in her customary armour with her sword already in hand and her shield at her back.
Diana took the offered card and wondered if he was the same author that had been mentioned on the news. Not that she really kept up to date on things like that. Still he seemed an interesting man, she smiled and offered her own. It read "Diana Prince Curator at Louvre museum

"A pleasure to meet you." She said then followed his gaze. "It would seem so. And yes, it must be frightening for those who live in London. Perhaps whoever is behind it will be caught soon." There was no perhaps about it if Diana had her way. She detested those who preyed on others.
Diana raised her brows as she watched the man approach her table. She was not often approached so politely and she smiled. It was men like this that reminded her that not all men in Man's world were unpleasant to be around.

She gestured to the seat opposite. "By all means please sit. I well know how tiring London can be." Truthfully being a demi goddess meant she didn't tire easily but she did find it mentally exhausting. There was just so many people and Londoners were different from Americans in many ways. Not bad ways but even she could find navigating an unfamiliar city and another culture taxing.
Sounds good to me lol
You're welcome to interact with Diana as she's just watching atm
Diana Prince or Wonder Woman depending on who you spoke to, watched the people come and go around her. Dressed in what Clark called her 'disguise' a pair of smart black trousers, heels and a deep red jumper she still managed to stand out even when trying not to. Something in her stance and gaze made those around her eye her curiously. Men and women both shot her admiring glances but she barely noticed.

She was in London officially to look at a new collection the Louvre wanted to aquire but unofficially she was here to investigate the disappearances and murders that had been happening in the city. She currently sat outside a pub opposite the most recent one and she was watching for the moment, seeing who showed interest in the scene. She watched as a man entered the park and after a while came out again. He did not look like a member of the police and she wondered what his motives were.
Thanks, hun :)
MTF Omega 1 report to the briefing room

Octavia jerked awake with a start, her body programmed from years of military service to wake immediately and fully, and scowled at the clock beside her bed. No matter how many she saw, she still hated mornings especially when the sun hadn't even risen yet. She muttered under her breath about 'bloody primitive hours' and 'getting up before dawn should be banned' as she washed and dressed. She efficiently redid her thick red hair into a braid and ensured she had gulped down her customary two cups of coffee. She would have preferred a third but regretfully decided there was no time for it. Satisfied that she looked presentable, or at least as presentable as anyone could be at his godforsaken hour, she left her quarters.

Opening the door of the briefing room she realised she was one of the first to arrive with only her commander and a man in a suit already in attendance. She nodded at the man in the suit and then looked at Jenkins. "Sir, Octavia McKenzie reporting for duty." Her Scottish accent was prominent even after years away from her homeland. "Though you can call me Mac or Doc, most do."
