Bio

Thank you for visiting my biography.

I am just a typical Aussie Young Adult juggling social life and work at the same time.

I have not roleplayed in years. I thought maybe I'll re-login once in a while and see how the Guild is going.

I have lost touch with the friends that I've made while I was a resident here. Those of you who were my friends, know that I enjoyed my time roleplaying with you and I hope that it is mutual.

I hope to see you in another life.

Name: Yuan Jack

Age: 35

Species: +Anima (Kodiak Bear)

Status/Job: Lumberjack

Bio:

Yuan was born to a low class family who struggled in the Kingdom. Most of his family members were slaves owned by a Nobleman in one of their districts. It was a few years after the laws were made for Animas were passed but Yuan couldn't understand what that meant for him and his family. In his early years he was taught how to read and write as well as understand basic mathematics.

At the age of 10, he began to pick up a small handaxe amd found that he could make some coin in splitting wood himself. It was close to winter and he unknowingly set himself out into the woods to go and gather firewood to sell for himself for several days without return. Despite being so young, he felt as if he was attuned to the deep and dark forest he was in. A primal instinct that always had presence inside of him quickly sharpened his survival skills and hunting for his own food in the woods. After the days have passed, he made a return to his home and beganprivately selling his poorly split wood for very measly prices. He continued to pursue the life of a lunberjack in his teenage years, breaking off from his own family eventually and signed himself up to a nearbly Craftsmen Guild and worked for proper wages by providing lumber.

Several more years went by and Yuan is now an experienced Lumberjack working in a sub branch of the Guild to produce the finest lumber and the strongest burning firewood in town. He was under a kind and accepting Coordinator of the sub branch.

He uses his anima aspect to carry large bulks of lumber back to the company and to fend off bandits and rogues who try to steal from their produces.

Appearance:

His Anima aspect is stronger arms and leg strength, visible through its bear claws and fur.
@VKAllen
The entire body doesn't change, just parts like arms or legs or you get the teeth or get furry.

Fixed it.

"I still don't know why you even got them a new car! They love it, yes, but it's a bit much..." Jaeger sighs, coursing her fingers through her hair as she walks alongside him through the halls. "But to answer your question, Varian... I always imagined Dust was a natural resource - something that came to be with the creation of Remnant. Of course, with a world like ours, we're really left to our own imaginative speculation to decide whether that's true or false, though. Well, unless it's proven where it all comes from. Though I feel like if it's a natural resource, we'll burn through it like a burner to butter if we get the chance..."

"Exactly." They finally reached Varian's personal Suite. With a quick swipe of an ID card the doors flung open to reveal a modest, simple living quarters, a desk and bed. "Give me a moment." A sheathed broadsword leaned on the armrest of his sofa and swiftly latched it upon his waist. "Schnee Dust Company's global reach is slowly killing our only hope for survival against the Grimm-- and that's what I'm addressing in my quick meeting." Varian walks past Jaeger towards the Conference Room. "Not so very like me, but I would rather survive than die."
I've been bit by NekoJordan's busy-ness virus.

Something feels really off about this whole thing. I mean, one of the biggest katana movies on this side of the pond was Highlander, but only 9 years later, the definitive movie about actual Highlanders came out, and Braveheart wielded a Claymore. It smells a bit like the illuminati prefers European swords to me, which must mean that Katanas are better sheerly from a moral standpoint. Katana wielders obviously would have a resistance towards this obvious subliminal messaging...

There's also the Crusades between 1096 to 1487. They were fought with European Weapons as well and is considered to be aligned with (grossly assuming) God.

The flip side of Katanas would also be the cursed sword Masamune.

<Snipped quote by Weird Tales>

I'm not joking one bit! Ignore any heathenous hobbits that may tell you otherwise! Japan is literally the best country in the world, politically, economically, culturally, and socially, and there is literally no evidence to refute that. The country is well known for its far-reaching and progressive, peaceful history. They have an indomitable military, unequalled toilets, and I live my life by the Bushido code, which I follow 100%.

Really, though, I am.

Except of its aging status.

The Japs need to get some babies goin.

I don't like it when people obsess over katanas and don't give European longswords or any other non Asian blade a shot. Seriously Asians aren't the only great warriors and it's ignorant to think so

Guilty of this, although I am starting to look at European Armings/Hand-and-a-halves for primary weapons now. Simply put, thanks to Anime, Katanas have far more exposure than European Swords (therefore easier to find pictures of). That being said-- In real life situation I'd prefer a European Sword over a Katana.
Can't believe I still have not posted.

I'll try to post sometime today on the train...
