Personality::Tetsuya is a mind first and foremost. He revels in the creation of all kinds of technology. He's happiest when he's working on an invention or tweaking one he's already created. Though his monotone way of speaking might imply that he has no care for other things he's actually an extremely noble person. Tetsuya hates people who use human gift of intellect to do harm and cause suffering. He originally intended to join Squad 12 but found that he enjoyed testing his inventions in battle almost as much as liked creating them and so opted to join Squad 13. He also joined so he could venture to the World of the Living more often and encounter other skilled inventors. Despite his preference for staying in the lab he's actually quite friendly especially if your asking him to make something for you...or you give him sweets. He really likes sweets. Not only is his mind perfect for inventing but he is also an incredible tactician. Constantly analyzing his opponent in battle he'll eventually find a way to beat them and if he won't last til then he'll make sure that before he loses or retreats that his opponent won't be fighting again for a time.

Relationships/Friendships/Rivalries/Siblings::Gears - One of Tetsuya's earliest creations he never really finished it. One day he found it when going through his collection of inventions and decided to modify and upgrade it. While he was doing this he was brought a mod soul to analyze which he accidentally dropped into the bot. Though Tetsuya knew that mod souls could be put into stuffed animals he didn't anticipate it could work with machines. The robot came to life thanks to the mod soul and with it's innocent personality Tetsuya couldn't bring himself to remove the pill and instead gave him a name, Gears. Gears was designed as a combat droid to help him in battle which was perfect given the current situation. They became fast friends given Tetsuya's love for technology. Gears Arcane is called Steel which allows him to reinforce and heighten the durability and strength of objects and himself which compliments the strong metal alloy Tetsuya used to make him.
Other::Tetsuya has created various pieces of equipment for himself to compensate for his physical shortcomings due to neglecting training in favor of tinkering in his lab.

Sealed appearance::Appears as just a wrench but is modified by Tetsuya to create a blade when he infuses it with reiatsu.
Shikai appearance::
Like it's sealed state it appears as a wrench...one almost as tall as Tetsuya himself. This form is actually the boot up phase. After 2 minutes it takes on it's true form. Tetsuya is constantly working to lessen this time.

Bankai appearance::Shikai skills::Effects of skills vary as Tetsuya's zanpakuto is adaptive and can be upgraded and modified. (Promise I won't abuse this ^.^")
1. Tesla Coil - This is both a passive and active ability that activates once it achieves it's true form. Rerugan emits an electromagnetic field around Tetsuya that allows him to pull and repel metal. Passively it constantly emits a moderate repelling force that makes it more difficult for metal objects such as swords to land attacks and/or cut as deeply. The active form of this ability allows Tetsuya to repel or pull with a stronger magnetic force twice allowing him to manipulate metals within his range which is about half the length of his released zanpakuto. This active use of the field causes the passive effect to weaken temporarily. (Active: 5 post cooldown, Passive weakened for 3 posts)
2. Hologram - Exactly as the name suggests it is a projection of Tetsuya that can emit his spiritual pressure making it the perfect decoy. Not only is it used as a distraction but once the enemy makes contact with it it releases a surge of electricity, paralyzing the foe for a few seconds. (6 post cooldown)

7. Overload Pulse: This technique has three forms. The first is a blade of electricity extending from the already large form of his zanpakuto. (Lasts 5 posts, 5 post cooldown) The second form creates 6 spheres of electromagnetic energy and launches them at the target. If at least one hits it will draw the other five to it and explode. Though this form is relatively weaker than the third form it is twice as fast and has a higher chance of success. (6 post cooldown) The third is just simple highly powerful blast of electromagnetic energy. It's power and size has been compared to that of Hado #88. This third form has a risk though. Depending on how long the battle has been going there is a higher chance of this attack could end up crashing Rerugan's system and render it unusable for the rest of the battle. (1 time use or 10 post cooldown)
8. Code Breaker: After seeing a technique once and analyzing it he is able to nullify it completely. There isn't a definitive limit to this technique but he does have to have seen a technique at least once. (2 uses per battle)
