The timing's a bit unclear, honestly. Gigue had already started rolling backwards when Sigurd hit him with the sword, so the whole transition into the throw would happen while he would still be falling to the ground/ He'd be able to brace himself and delay his landing, but the momentum would still persist, the end situation being Sigurd thrown face downwards and Gigue crashing down on top almost immediately after.

There's no way he could react to that elbow strike in time in this scenario; though from this point, i could argue that since he would be so close to Sigurd, it would hit with less force, point of impact being closer to Sigurd's shoulder rather than the elbow, and considering that Gigue is heavier by almost a hundred pounds, his inertia could keep him in one place, thus ending up with him on Sigurd's back nevertheless, ready for that RNC. In this case, his ribs would also sustain less damage, so he'd be able to use both arms as well.

If you think that's viable, then i may as well; but for the sake of keeping it simple, i had decided to roll with the strike and forgo any arguing.
I'm a liberal anarchist at heart, but i well know how idealistic it is to believe that humanity would last long without a governmental structure, at least for now.

Surprisingly, my most favored form of authority would be something along the lines of a constitutional monarchy. I very much fancy the idea that the person in charge will be somebody who had been brought up to be prepared for the task since their very childhood.

But then again, i never looked in to the subject matter too much, so my opinion is quite the shallow one.
I decided that having a tear wound and cracked rib on the same side of his body would somewhat limit his left arm's movements, so i'm going for something a bit more tricky here.
At least in Russia, we always know it'll be Putin.
In Soviet Russia, we have food that stems from centuries old tradition. When eating borsch, my spirit reunites with my ancestry and i feel the historical legacy of a long agricultural tradition running through my veins.
It's stuck between the shoulderblade and the flesh covering it, as well as all the silk and leather armor on top.

Or i could roll with it being unstuck. Fine by me as well.
je ne pas comprendre

is it unstuck from Gigue's body then? because as i see i, those two combined would result in Sigurd contorting his body into one heck of a wierd position.

EDIT: gtg sleep right now
I assume Sigurd has let go of his sword at this point?
@MelonHead

I could've expanded on the damage, but as for the throw, the majority of Sigurd's weight was carried by the right arm, so Gigue could do without using the the damaged muscle on his left side, instead, only flexing the left arm inwards with the pectorals and curling his bicep for any additional lift and tow force.
He's just as fast as your ordinary martial artist - which i think was what i sticked to throughout our fight.
