I havent looked at the other CSs so tell me if mine is too similar

Nickname: "Great Consul" "Law-father"
Weapons (optional) Sword, Parazonium, Dagger and Scutum (Look it up)
Info: Born into a modest merchant family, Rathaeus soent his early years travelling the provinces as well as distant lands were he recieved a good if not unorthodox education about different people and their cultures, and of course what their weaknesses were. This experience ended however when his parents managed to save enough money to send him to a academy in the Capitol, where he learned more traditional subjects, and he showed a nack for Military Tactics. Rathaeus graduated and completed 5 years of military service (as was the contract length) even though it was not compulsory for every citizen, it is if you wish to move up in the world. Rathaeus managed to swiftly climb through the ranks which in turn gave him small holdings and eventually provinces of his own to manage. He was Elected to power by the "Central Inner Senate" to the position of "Co-Consul" giving Rathaeus power over both Domestic and Military affairs... Along with his two other "Co-Consuls" and So long as everything manages to pass through each level of the senate.

Geographic description: Grasslands with large amounts of ocean, which depending on the water levels will some times cut off the cities.
Religion?: A pantheon of many gods, alot of it ancestor worship which means it sometimes varies from each household... I guess I could go in to detail it if you REALLY want me too...
Customs?: Bloodlines and Dynasties are extremely important to the Valturians and pacts are often made between three or more families that make sure they will only breed with each other. This ensures "purity" is maintained and a strong alliance is formed, if one family moves up in the world then so do the others.
More info?: Slaves are a everyday part of Valturian culture and society and can be traced all the way back to the days when the Republic cities were no more than tribes. It is also one of the prime reasons why the Republics needs to constantly expand and war with others because a lot of the economy relies on them and so many die in ether construction or training to become one of the "Slave Armies" where they will be able to become a "Caelpasos"*

*Caelpasos is one rank below citizen but one step above slave. They are not bound to any master but they cannot hold office and can only work jobs that the full Valturians do not wish to take which often means they work as serfs for a Valturian Solider who has just been given his newly awarded land. It takes extraordinary effort from the Caelpasos and his family to achieve full citizenship but it usually only happens after a few generations have passed.
