I was going to title it: Fantasy Nation Rp but I wasn't sure if it should be, well fantasy or not so I will let you guys decide.
You are in the world of Selibas and many of the countries, but not all, are going through a industrial/scientific revolution, historians in the future will say "despite the many troubles and conflicts of the time, this was the golden age of Selibas". Despite this revolution there is a lot of civil unrest in this period and some countries are still considered to be in the Stone Age period.

Background:Sent to a orphanage at the age of one he never knew his mother and deeply resents his parents and any possible family emmer for sending him to the orphanage. At the age of five the master of the orphanage strangled him for talking back since that experience he has come to distrust people and hate authority.
Powers: his mind will often give him advice and words of wisdom but is also very vague and metaphorical which makes Shalun end up in sticky situations.

Shalun was working in the fields when the blast hit and woke up finding his world completely changed from what it was a minute ago. "By the creators! What happened?" He said, his mind replied "I told you so Shalun" "You said 'Your life would change forever!' I thought you meant I would have a good harvest!" Said a angry Shalun "should have listened" sighed his mind "well what should I do know!?" said Shalun, "Whatever you like" his mind said back "Great" Shalun said sarcastically
The president of Romania was sitting at his desk, distressed over many matters, involving unemployment And the oncoming greed of Russia which was beginning to sallow Romanian territories.
President Y was vaguely aware of somebody addressing him but was to focused on solving a current political issue to care.
"Sir!" His deputy Mr Q said almost to a shout
"What!? God dammit I was about to solve the fredich Crisis!
"Apologies sir but the Russian Leader Mr X just gave a speech"
"About?"
"Employment sir, but I feel he is preparing to attack Romania!"
"Nonsense! The man is a fool but not a stupid one! Now leave me I have things to do!"
"But-"
"NOW!" The president boomed
"Yes sir"
Mr Y sighed for now he had another issue on his hands, "What am I to do?"
