Goverment type: Merchant State (Plutocracy/Oligarchy/Monarchy) The rulers of Solus Would have you and the people believe that the society is run by group of common lowly merchants that have the best interests of the nation in mind and perhaps this was once true but no matter what it may have once have been it is not that any longer. Solus has slowly been taken over by the richest family Which most nobles are a part of since polygamy is common practice, this family run state however has been divided by old family feuds, greedy siblings, devious step parents and cunning half siblings. This has been happening for the past 200 years and now nobody can definitively prove that they are the rightful heir which only worsens the situation.

Ideology: The only thing the elite of Solus care for is profit and power both of which are intertwined with each other. The common people however share simpler belief, that of which that the people should let all people into Solus no matter whom they are. Not only has this allowed a boon to the economy but also allowed a diverse culture to foul rush in Solus.

Source of income: Each city state has their own source of income which they ether sell to other city states in the confederation or sell them to other nations altogether.

Culture: The culture of Solus very much resembles the Italian city states of the Middle Ages.
