After searching the entire campus, his serpentine body traveling with supernatural rapidity, The One The Only lets loose a defeated hiss. "The witch seems to have retreated. 'Tis a shame. To cover the entire school with an illusion that individually affects every person under its spell? That would require a formidable amount of skill."

With a bow of his head, Toto's body begins to warp as it gains muscle mass. A small squelching noise echoes off the nearby lockers as four legs and two wings sprout underneath his blue-grey scales. He unfurls his great wings as his powerful legs lift his body off the ground. Now, roughly the size of a clydesdale, he begins making his way back to the classroom, his talons clinking against the tiles of the floor with every step.

Upon reaching Mimic's class, Toto pauses before the door. With another bow of his head, he shrinks to the size of a german shepherd and holds his wings tight to his body. With a slow, nonchalant gait and his regal head held high, he walks to his mistress. He nuzzles her leg while telling her telepathically, "I have failed you madame. I could not find the illusionist before she made her escape."

Anyway, Kassy is expecting to be ignored, not really because she thinks anyone is mean or anything, but... well, she kinda grew up ignored. >_< Poor dear hasn't learned to socialize.

Also, does anyone have an issue with Jean Gray teaching the course for young psychics? If anyone's got a better idea, let me know. Charles Xavier is kinda helping run the school, so she's the first telepath I thought of.

I feel like the teachers are predominantly heroes when the staff is supposed to be compromised of both heroes and villains, right? So how about Emma Frost? She's a strong telepath and although she's been a member of the X-Men in the past, she more commonly plays the part of a villain.

With a polite nod, The One turns his attention to the cloaked woman that seemed to have enthralled a couple of the students. Pausing for a moment to ponder how to proceed, snorts derisively at the shoddy illusion. He flicks his fingers in the direction of the image, flinging an empty desk at it, hoping the sight of a desk flying through the apparition would break its holf over the students. Without waiting to see if it was successful, Toto morphs into a long, slender snake and slithers out of the room, his tongue waving in the air, hunting for the source of the magic.
