Bio

I've been RPing for about 10 years on and off, and I secretly want to be a writer. I'm a casual/advance RPer with a distaste for character sheets and extensive templating. I just want to write well with others.

Creative collaboration brings me so much joy, so please don't hesitate to message me if you're interested in telling a story together!

The orb inside a lantern glowed a soft purple, as if inviting Robin to approach it. She stared at the mark etched into its surface, transfixed by its calming and curious nature—she had never seen anything like it. Robin drifted closer to the lantern and reached out, fingers tracing the grooves of the iron and reveling in the warmth of the orb behind the glass. She turned it carefully and searched for some sort of latch, completely forgetting about the owl above of her.

She felt it before she saw it.

The skin on her back bristled and she broke into a cold sweat. Orange and purple reflected off metal, and she leaped back, rapidly scanning the skies above her. She watched the arrow rotate as it soared through the air, before it nicked the owl and lodging itself in a branch with a hearty thump. She searched for the source, trying to pinpoint the source of the palpable malicious intent, but it was too dark to see. Orange tendrils of light stretched out into the night sky, the sound of water trickling emerged from the darkness further ahead, and the ticking deep within the dead tree continued unforgivingly—something was very, very wrong.

She turned to the two other girls on the surface of the mushroom and considered leaving them; her urgency to flee had increased, but she still had no idea about where she was or how she got there—they were the only ones in the forest that didn’t seem to convey feelings of malice. They mirrored back her ignorance.

If they were to leave the ominous white tree, that meant they were to be leaving their only source of light. Robin returned to the lantern and pulled at it insistently, trying to separate the shimmering thread from the iron frame. She took a hold of the string and snapped it in half, severing the lantern from it’s hold.
I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to quit this RP. Just so much is happening in my life right now, and I'm not sure if I can deal with it and RP.... I'm so SO sorry, but I just can't.

So I wish you the best and I hope this RP really prospers! Kill my character off as you see fit....

AW, kitten--I hope you're ok; it was a pleasure Rping with you, but life comes first, always.

Best of luck with everything!
I'm down for you to post next. Everyone else?

There were only a few more meters that separated her and the girl with the flower crown. With every leap, black dust spring from the top of the mushrooms and coated her skin; she increased her pace, undeterred, and reached the girl.

Robin stood in front of her quietly, unsure of what to say or do; the girl was a bit taller than her, but looked much more lovely despite the similar coating of black on her skin. The light of the lantern seemed to shine through the girl, making her appear luminescent, and Robin could hardly tell if she was in the presence of a human or something else.

Grinning brightly she waved slightly giggling before reaching up easily removing one of the flowers from her crown offering it out towards the boy...
Eveline

Robin cocked her head and took the flower, feeling completely calm despite the strange situation. She remembered nothing and didn’t know where she was, but trusted her survival acumen to carry her through. She tucked the flower in her pocket, and smiled faintly.

To her side, the owl hooted and ruffled it’s feathers and was making subtle, yet noticeable noises. She pivoted to face the owl and frowned, annoyed by it’s fidgetiness.

“¡Como-estas, senioritas...! ¡Encantada de conocerte...!"

She immediately inched away from the loud greeting and moved to a spot behind the flower girl. The foreigner had reached the platform more quickly than Robin thought she would, and before the she would be forced to interact with the lively newcomer, Robin scuttled away from the two and headed towards the lantern. She approached it slowly, not yet climbing the branch, and noticed that it’s light seemed to be constantly changing in intensity. But it was not the flickering of a flame, but the pulsating of an…orb?

will post later today!

She stomped over dead leaves and twigs that scattered the ground, the light of the butterfly her only support. The forest gleamed an ominous red from the light that managed to get past the cluster of trees, but it was not enough to aid a smooth passage.

“Ah, damn,” she cursed, and pushed a branch that had almost hit her in the face away,”watch it, guys."

It was quiet, the only sounds coming from the trampled objects beneath them and their own shaky breathing—she became more frightened the further she moved, the more twists she followed, and the darker it became; however, her resolve to stay strong reared it’s stubborn head.

She coughed her throat and said, ”Well, let’s do introductions again. I’m Erin, and this is Hideki—we really don’t know why we’re here, but I think we’ll be ok together."

The distant sound of a voice cut her off, and she stopped speaking; she continued forward, a steely resolve to find the source of the noise; the butterfly seemed to be undeterred by the noise and pressed on—so she followed.

Hideki surpassed her and approached what appeared to be another boy; Erin walked up to the two, and noticed the butterfly was not progressing without them. She immediately relaxed, and turned to the strange boy before grinning and saying, ”I’m Erin. We’re all trying to get out of this creepy ass place, so we’re following that butterfly…That sounds a bit stupid when I say it like that, but we’re ok. You don't know why you're here, either, huh?"
Will get mine in later today :)
