Bio

Wants to RP like an damned maniac, Always being an GM in IRL has left me with intense, unfulfilled desires to be an player myself but the GM side of me seems to crave the control and world building, secondary GM positions wanted and desired with unholy thirst.

Also an unredeemable Tea loving bastard.

2018. Year of darkness
Gambling addiction is a bitch. While tea is still my favorite, started coffee drinking because of unlimited supply of it at workplace, much much easier. Writings getting rusty but imagination is still present. I am ready, WE are ready! Lets RP BUCKO´S!

Just curious, but will this feast include lubricant? And if so, what type and year? EDIT: And is that last post with Daisy in located around/in the 'somewhat-more-friendly' base per chance?
As the Reaper found Daisy relatively quickly Ill assume that she awoke in base codename: Carbon, so the fight is taking place there, Id give the edge on this battle for Daisy´s favor but an friendly hand could turn the tide considerably. King124 is almost there but neither he or Ferug are very fast runners.
Damn GMT+2 is a crappy time zone to live in. Great posts all around! and INSTAURABO POWER TO COMPUTE You confirm that generator is in working order thou low on fuel, it could be activated for a short while or drained to a powercell for few days extra energy, you have an choise to make :)
Exploration
While I try to fill the world with places to go and things to do, and moving in group gives good chances to RP and security from danger, no one can stop you from going offroad in your search of powersources once in a while if you so choose :D So go ahead, describe new complexes, factories, maybe even cities that your character finds along the way and fill them with dangers as you will. You all seem to be really in tune with the setting so I trust you´ll do this world justice. (your creations also give me more material to work with.) PS. I really should have clarified some of these things at the very beginning :D whoopsie!
Blue Reaper Appearance: Size: about the size of an mini-buss. Unit history: One of the latest models to be added in to evergrowing arsenal of great war. Blue Reapers had an scary purpose indeed: To wreck colossi. They would lay in ambush sites and when time came they used their considerable leaping power to strike straight in to colossus cortex, ripping it apart and disabling these giants, due to being so heavily specialized however they lack abilities to take on other prey. Memory: Beast, [Search and destroy!] Equipment: Supercharged hydraulic legs. Diamond tipped rending claws. Skills: Leap of death Ranks Combat: B Speed: D
Guidelines for conflict
Basically when fighting against malicious robots you compare combat stats, Higher stat generally means you can defeat the enemy, while lower means you are at disadvantage, Tied scores means you can fight to a standstill with no clear victor. Standstill can however turn into victory by having a solid combat plan, being faster (Being faster also means the opponent can´t catch you if you desire to just flee or avoid it.) or by utilizing your surroundings or special equipment. There are times when I might have to step in with GM ruling but using this section as guidelines you should be able to independently resolve conflict with various threats I post here in OOC. And again, if confused, just PM me, that is another way to handle combat so you can focus writing good IC of your victories :) Edit: Forgot to mention. All of this applies to just baddies I throw in your way, should your character explore areas themselves where you write dangers for them to overcome in a single post, naturally you are fully in charge of those things.
One of the bases just got a lot more dangerous, Im not putting anyone in to harms way but you can choose if the base you woke up in (Obviously concerns only those who decided to wake up in bases) was codename: Carbon or not, so should you pick the safer base it puts you more or less in the same area (Thou not every robot affected by the pulse wake up at the same time.)
At castle Ferug King124 was somewhat surprised when the little surveillance robot made his introductions but regained his regal composure in moments "And hello to you too my little subject! come join me at my banquet!" Just outside the entrance to Ferugs innards there is an makeshift table and couple of chairs. At the table, Thief of Bagdad was offered an powercell containing few days worth of energy. As his lordship King124 was about to ask for news about the area his trail of thought processes were interrupted by a song. Music, of all things, rare indeed to find such luxuries within blasted lands, he didnt recognize the song but it was quite charming indeed. "Ferug! We shall move inland at once towards those two bases! For what would an royal banquet be without the gift of music!" He turned towards thief. "Come join me little one! for a relaxing walk and talk!" While strolling towards the two bases, King124 wondered about the signatures he had read within stone columns and how nothing had risen from them, such peculiar activities were often an sign of a new beast awakening and he certainly did not want to be around for that to happen. At military base codename: Carbon An large crouched shape moved trough dark corridors with deadly purpose, an battle robot by the name of Blue Reaper. Unlike many who had awoken on this day filled with confusion but still themselves, Blue Reaper had awoken roaring, experienced pain and burning of being wiped clean. Some automatons reacted this way to pulses, they are known across blasted lands as beasts. Search and destroy was the only directive left within Reapers circuitry, and it would follow it until the day it would be destroyed or ran out of power. Few hours after the pulse, this ominous figure found its way from base it awoke in. Heavy metallic gate opened for it as Reaper stepped in to daylight...
Name: M.D.U.-6, "Daisy"
Size: 12 feet tall, 2,341 Lbs. Unit history: The Mechanical Demolition Unit was a short lived line of bots used for the dual purpose of destroying larger walkers and buildings. The units were not equipped with traditional weapons, instead armed with a Mjolnir pattern impact hammer. The hammer could destroy most bots with only several hits although the M.D.U.'s could do just as much damage with just their fists. However the units never gained widespread use as they were fairly expensive to manufacture and a glitch in their programming caused them to either refuse to battle or become too eager for it. Memory: Daisy remembers their name, explosions, fear, and someone too small and too fragile to be in this hell. Equipment: -Mjonlir Pattern Impact hammer, fully functional. -Juggernaut subroutines: Normally M.D.U.'s are very slow however should one run in a straight line their engines will flood power to movement servos, causes engine exhaustion and overheat. -Jump thrusters, glitchy and unreliable at present. -Extensive library of songs from every known genre. Favorites include heavy metal, rock, lullabies, songs with acoustic guitars. Skills: -Building Demolition -Crushing things Ranks: Combat: C against faster bots, B on average bots, and A for large bots and/or buildings. Memory: D Speed: D, B with Juggernaut subroutines Companionship: A Electronics: D Wisdom: C Initializing data retrieval: Complete
Good, we got an bigger gal in, welcome aboard!
I won't really be able to post much today. I have work in a bit and I'll be working late tonight.
That won´t be an issue, just post when its convenient to you :)
Were it not for his helmet, everyone in the room could have sworn McDougal had turned into tomato, such was the intensity of this emotional rollercoaster Isaac had thrown him into. He found Eirwen to be ravishingly attractive as a woman, but as an person that punctuality and expectations of perfection drove him goddamn insane! And these were HIS traps they were discussing here. Still, Isaacs orders were Isaacs orders and McDougal would follow suit like a good little Beacon he was. He moved next to Eirwen and started discussing his plan. It mainly involved setting an ring of sorts around the station, in two parts. If possible enemies would attack the station, they would be divided by jammed emergency bulkheads, this would be when part of enemy forces would be spaced with an rigged airlock and beforehand positioned freemen snipers would shoot the bastards to be sure they were out. Those still behind bulkheads would be funneled towards the bottom by giving them false targets to chase and "accidentally" leaked Beacon comminications. "And that is where we take them out to lunch!" McDougal was sure that Eirwen had her own plans and would most likely tear this one to bits, he was prepared to let it slide and do things her way this time around, after all, no enemy force was guaranteed to attack an base so heavily fortified with massive ordnance, right?
