Name: Vestig-881J, does not have nickname, despises them, due to the fact that he sees names as a construct of humans. Appearance Size: Measures at about 6' 2" Unit history: A modified worker bot, Vestig-881J's primary role within the war was sabotage and assassination, however in rather unorthodox ways. His conception being traced back to guerrilla fighters of the war, Vestig-881J and his creators were not given much to work with, thus, they had to improvise when it came to his technology. Without any explosives or real firepower, Vestig-881J's creators were forced to commission him to stealthier actions, which turned out to be a success, especially due to the technology they pumped into his armament. Memory: He remembers only how he was freed from the grasps of his creators, the time when he was shut down while returning to his charging station on foot. Equipment: -Two 12" buzz-saw carried on his back -Hands and feet are lined with material to help him grip onto most surfaces with relative ease -Left hand has the capability of transforming into a compact yet powerful 10" long drill -Right hand can transform into a zero-point energy field manipulator, which allows for the manipulation of objects, mainly being able to easily shoot an object at high velocities and then be able to pick that object up again based off of very complicated science. It allows Vestig-881J to manipulate various items around him, up to a certain weight, but he mainly uses it to shoot his buzz-saws. Skills: -Able to move quickly and quietly -Basic knowledge of combat tactics Ranks: Ranging from A to D, A being the strongest, try to keep it balanced, basic abilities that I will reference if need arises Combat: B Memory: C Speed: A Companionship: D Electronics: B Wisdom: C Initializing data retrieval: COMPLETE

Interesting! Welcome aboard! lets however put some limitation on zero-point energy field manipulator, it is after all handmounted model on a humanoid robot, objects like the buzzaws, largish stones and explosive shells etc etc should be ok, but no picking up other adult sized robots or anything larger than that ok? :)

IC is now christened and open! (Altough Ill be still accepting newcomers for some time.) And right off the bat you all have choises to make. You can be newcomers to this world, starting where King124 and Ferug have set up camp, you can awaken at either of Zeta-001- military bases, or you can choose to be a veteran of surviving, having heard rumors that there is untapped power to be found in Zeta-001- you have all arrived at this spot but where will your road lead to? Have fun with RP and do beware the rust! Edit: Ah, forgot to mention, everybody starts with about an weeks supply of power, taking it easy makes it last longer and stressful activities like fighting burns trough it quicker!

Warm wind is blowing trough desolate plain of red rock and metal, making peculiar noise as it swirls inside an husk of colossal warmachine, one of hundreds that litter this barren place. Once this field was known as sector Zeta-001-, turning point of the great war, where one side gained upper hand over the other, forcing premature deployment of "The Device." And all of this was lost in history, unaccessible data. It has been a year since first pulse of awakenings, an unexplained jolt of energy that jumpstarted many robotic beings who were still mostly intact, having only been shut down and drained of all power by the device. Waking up to find devastated landscapes, young forests of short trees, rivers of rust colored water and massive debris fields caused by fallen low orbit ships and war satellites. There are powersources here for instinct driven robots to find but competition is fierce, many have united in loose gangs to ensure their collective survival, some hunt alone, some are still fighting an imaginary war long since ended. And then there are the beasts, robots that went insane and violent by the pulse, losing all but combat programming, they roam to annihilate without thought or mercy until their powercells run dry. There has been new pulses since the first, happening at seemingly random or by algorithms unimaginable, each pulse creates new gangs, new hunters and worst of all, new beasts. So all in all, it has been hell of an year to those who awakened first, those who have survived till now have dubbed themselves: "Cortex Lords" Suddenly the scenery of Zeta-001- experiences sounds of life, steps to be sure, of gigantic nature. From horizon rises a towering construct of metal, moving forward, slow but undeterred. One mark771 mining colossus that has clearly seen better days scans the plains as it moves along, shaking the ground and wreckage with each step. With metallic groan it speaks as if to itself. "Sheltering rock formation in immediate vicinity... Two large bases in horizon... Unidentified..." Colossus was not alone however, tall metallic humanoid standing on its shoulder responded to this survey. "Military bases to be sure. Excellent, we may find powersources yet before sundown, and maybe even peasants!" "Please define peasant my liege..." "Peasants use shovels to grow power from ground, they also fight for their king." "Sounds useful indeed... PULSE INCOMING!" In a moment King124 confirmed the energy signature, another pulse was resounding around the plain, first one in three months! More automatons were awakening! Closest signatures were coming from around nearby stone columns that had sheltered the now awakening robots in there for years. And naturally it is kings duty to always be present when someone emerges from deep slumber. "Stop here Ferug and open the gates! Prepare me a feast of energy and lubricants, I shall appear wealthy indeed!" Soon enough Ferug dropped on his knees with a loud crash, opened hatches within its abdomen and appeared to be more a portable watchtower than a mining construct.
