Usually this was a grave offense that demanded action to be taken, but it was nothing more than a minor annoyance due to his hair being in an ordinary style and his family not being there with him. It seemed as if she misinterpreted his words as misogynistic or maybe that her cooking was the only value that she had. Jiang Baji pried his head free from her grasps and fixed his hair. The blind monk and the old crow were his biggest concerns, he always set out to protect the little guy and make them feel safe even if they did have decades more of experience and could take him out from a distance without him even knowing.
The success of this mission was crucial for Lord Shima and Jiang Baji himself. He needed to win Shima's favor for the future and to become stronger himself. The azure warrior approached his lord once more, bowing before his graciousness and spewing out his fears of failure to him.
