@Oni_ So that's my character. I didn't make him for you or to be specifically paired with you, but I wouldn't mind them interacting or Jack manipulating him into turning him into an underling due to the similarity of Jack's powers and the way Terrance sees the world.
Probably Josuke. Why do you ask?

Josuke is an acceptable answer since he comes from the loins of the greatest JoJo. I'm assuming you mean Josuke 4.
@ZobozunWho's your favorite JoJo?

Ness' powers were healing, barriers, an instant kill and his special superattack. Primary damage dealer was Paula.

That being said I personally think it's a pretty cool idea for a character and there's no real need to nerf it. I think everyone can keep themselves in check. After all, we're all adults, aren't we?

@clanjos Basically he's like Ness/Lucas. But while reading back, I think the reading minds and mindwipe things might have to go, unless you can (as said before) balance them out.

My villain character also has telekinesis, which again, I can allow unless someone does a huge spam attack of em.

The name was inspired by Ness, but the concept of the character's life (being trapped mentally in a "video game") was my own idea that wasn't inspired by Ness or Mother. I chose the powers because they're very versatile and it allows me to make all kinds of "builds" for him to try.

So... he has two do-anything powers.

One of which allows him to pull mindwipes, and read minds (generally used as carte blanche for metagaming).

The other is telekinesis.

Those things are potentially do anything but Terrance can not affect the world on a global scale, not even an entire city. Entering someone's mind is a battle of wills, something that he can lose, as I already stated that he's not the most powerful. You don't need to have telepathy to be able to combat telepathy or resist it, see Wolverine, Cyclops and so on. He can read and wipe memories from normal humans aka NPCs just fine, if it's an empowered person then it's not some instant thing.

So example: Jack asks him to read a bank teller's mind for the code to the safe, it's a normal human who has no interaction or training against super powers. It should be an easy in and out attempt. Terrance tries to read the mind of Jack himself, it's going to be a lot harder and can end in failure.

Name: Terrance Evans

[Picture]

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Hero

Powers: Telepathy- Terrance is a very capable and versatile telepath. He's not the strongest in the world but where he lacks in raw power, he more than makes up for in versatility. Applications of telepathy include: Mind reading, mind wiping, astral projection, mental downloading, etc.

Telekinesis- Terrance is also a very powerful telekinetic. Just like his telepathy, his telekinesis is very versatile and able to be applied through many ways. Examples would include: Shields, flight, moving objects, etc.

Drawbacks- Though Terrance has a wide array of abilities under these powers, he does not have conscious access to them all while. He has trapped his own mind subconsciously and believes that the life that he is living is one big MMO game. He can not use all of abilities while he is under his own mental prison he has to "level up" to increase his abilities or learn a new move. He is able to "respec" his points before a mission or battle to shut off some powers in order to gain access to others. For example, in his mind if he knows that his character has access to powers in his telepathy and telekinesis trees but he's about to go and fight an army of robots then he can access "character power chart" and respec his points to where he no longer has telepathy, but now has more telekinesis moves.

Telepathic Immunity- This is only active while he is awake and conscious. When he is asleep, another telepath could try to break into his mind and get past the blocks to pull him out of his dream world. When he is unconscious, all of his mental defenses are completely down and another telepath will have a much easier time reaching him.

Weapons: Able to forge Telekinetic blades in his hands.

Personality: The PK Kid is brave, courageous, eager for adventure and carries a strong love of justice. Terrance however is more introverted, lacks any sense of self-confidence and feels utterly useless and abandoned. He lives his life but he's not happy about it all unless he's playing a game.

History: Raised as an army brat, Terrance was always moving around from state to state, city to city, country to country. He himself didn't do much moving since he was bound to a wheelchair all his life since birth. Terrance spent his time playing games and reading books
so he could briefly be someone else that he was not. His powers were always lying latent in his body, they only lacked the will to bring them to the surface. This will surfaced when his father was arrested and imprisoned under false charges. His mother had gone "missing" as the government took her to a holding facility to interrogate her. Terrance felt betrayed by his own home government as he was forced into an orphanage in the last city that his father was based, Neo-Tokyo. The anger that boiled inside of him made him feel useless, weak and powerless. His powers awakened as he wished for himself to be lost, to be somewhere else, to just bury himself into one of his video games. Terrance was walking, levitating, flying and moving things with his mind, but in his mind, he was playing a video game. His mind snapped as his body healed. The world of Neo-Tokyo was his playground and he was going to play the hero and protect it like a super hero.

Weakness: Base physical level of durability is only around peak human, though his durability to energy based attacks are higher, he's no tank. Easily manipulated while his mind is trapped.

Other: I know this is an anime superhero rp, but it's so hard to find an anime picture of good quality of a young Black kid.
I understand that argument and will concede that point. However, time manipulation is still free GMing. Whenever it's used, there's nothing you can do and you have to take everything that is done because there's no way that your character can react to said actions.
Wasn't DIO like five arcs ago?
Also he was, you know, a superpowered vampire with an overpowered punchghost and he still would have gotten wrecked by Joseph and Polnareff if not for bullshit regeneration and being able to survive brain stabbings.

DIO toyed with all of them and wouldn't have died to Joseph and Polnareff at all because of his stand. All he had to do is stop time and kill them, he toyed with them the entire time. A minute, 60 seconds of frozen time is enough to do so much. Not only that, but your first post already has you godmodding @oni_'s character. For 60 seconds, you could stop time, pick up a bat and beat anyone to death who doesn't have superhuman durability. Stopping time is an incredibly powerful and unbalanced power.
Well, you're the GM and I'm not here to argue or anything, but I'll keep it to myself for now.
@Zobozun Welcome to the RP! Glad you can join us. So your character is time based huh? Looks interesting! Reminds me a bit of Ultraman if you ask me. Character accepted! Please put it in the CS and delete the one here in OOC.

I'm not sure how you balance it, to be honest. I'm not trying to stop someone from playing, but direct time manipulation is hard to battle against or give a threat to. Most recently, in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the only guy that could beat a time manipulator was another time manipulator.
