DC Universe: Gods Among Us (Always Open)

I've decided to go with Orion. I've realized that I have never seen the New Gods played on any DC roleplay that I have seen. They need more love, and I will make Orion more battle hungry and brutal.

Finn eyes crackled fiercely with Electricity and was on the verge of casting a Phantasmal Force spell when Nicotine left in her smoke form and only he and Fen were remaining. He was about ask if Fen was alright when Impulse entered the room floating apparently. She asked an obvious question, of course they were superhumans since it was quite clear by their non-ordinary looking choice of clothing.

"Yes we are the superhumans, just call me Capricorn. I'm your team's sorcerer" he said to the hyperactive woman. This team was getting weird and it looked like they were dealing with a lot of potentially dangerous personalities. When Fen left without saying a word, Finn knew that the telepath was pissed and decided to not follow him. It was barely a day and they were already possibly at each others' throats.

Capricorn rubbed his temples and then looked at Impulse with his almost inhuman green eyes.

"Sorry about our teammate, we had little complication with another team member. So what can you do?" he asked as a spark of electricity flashed from his eyes.

Though what happened isn't a big deal at all OOC, her reaction was pretty normal. Having someone enter your mind without warning or explicit permission can be seen as incredibly invasive. There's no way you can know if they did anything more than what they said or if they searched for something else. No telling what painful things she could be hiding or what deadly secrets she may be holding on to, and she may have believed that her most personal thoughts were at risk.

That being said, it's only an IC action and reaction, nothing personal and absolutely fine in my eyes. Everyone doesn't have to get along great at the beginning or at all, that little trade made things interesting in my opinion.

I'm really worried for it. Hopefully it'll be good, but DC's on the backfoot movie-wise right now and they may try pushing too hard to make it edgy and fun at the same time.

Nice choice casting Margot Robbie as Harley though. At the very least I can spend the whole film admiring the way her costume fits. :3

I'm just excited to get a movie like this so soon, I freakin love Suicide Squad and also am super pumped about seeing Killer Croc and Enchantress as well as Katana. I'm also so happy that DC is incorporating magic into its universe, which is something that Marvel shied away from and copped out of with the science junk, i hated that with a burning passion. So I'm glad DC is bold enough to do this so early in its cinematic.

looks interesting, can I make Baraki shaman with martial arts skills? I noticed that spirit can't be a chosen element, but can our character still have the power to communicate with spirits?

Finn was taken a bit off guard by the woman referring to him as a chef, it was an odd thing to say and he couldn't find a proper response. He did however give her hand a kiss recognizing the gesture she made and was slightly glad to see that he wasn't the only one here with some formalities. He was taken a bit by surprise when he began to hear music in his head, it must have been one of their powers doing it. Nicotine didn't have any problem with giving him her and Fen's code-names, and Finn decided to give them his.

"You can all me Capricorn" he said to them and then listened as Nicotine explained that Reley had telepathic powers and to be careful about what he let his thoughts show. Finn wasn't entirely sure, but he was almost certain that his Thought Shield spell would prevent any unwanted intrusion into his mind. Having a telepath on the team would make it hard to keep secrets from the others if it was needed.

As he watched her move about with almost inhuman grace, Finn guessed that was one of the benefits of having the ability to oneself into smoke.

"Well if you don't already, I'm your team's sorcerer. Magic is my specialty" he said to them and then did a quick charm, which made a bright glowing blue flower to appear floating in the air above them.
