These type of people also tend to be incessant godmoders and powerplayers. They often want to triumph above all others on the roster, and I've seen quite a few powerplay their characters to the top before the GM interfered. And, worst of all, I feel for the GM who has to deal with it. Having been in that situation before (both in RPs where I watched it play out, and RPs where I was the GM), its hard to get through to these people that their character isn't fitting the bill. They'll fight you on it, but instead of logically dropping out of the RP, they want to justify to you that their character belongs, even when it really doesn't. They also try so hard to say "I'm not a godmoder/powerplayer" when all prior evidence contradicts it...

in my opinion, the problem is that some players can't understand that some characters don't work for roleplays do to their personality or power set. Unlike stories that may feature the character, roleplays require cooperation and the world isn't built to fit the character unlike a novel or short story and that is why dick characters seem to usually fail. What I would say to people is that if they want to make a dick character then make them plausible in the roleplay's story and also give a good reason why they're even with the other characters.

My second complaint about the Guild is how touchy people can get and that just seems a little ridiculous to me since this is the internet and I've seen far worse on YouTube and Facebook compared to the Guild.

Max listened to other give their reasons for wanting to join and even thought he didn't like it he would prefer that JC stayed and didn't put himself in mortal danger by joining them on their quest to the underworld. At first he agreed with him on wanting Sentinel to come since he was Kyrptonian and had the muscle to help fight off any monsters that the dark domain might throw at them, but Pistolera did have a point that being a mystic realm could have lots of magic which could be deadly for the hero. JC also gave a good defense for his plan, Sentinel had a bad habit of bringing too much attention to himself and with things as bad as this, that was the last thing that they needed. Of course Evan had to start an argument with JC even when things were already really bad and they were probably the most wanted fugitives in the country right now. Max angrily walked up Evan and glared at the demigod.

"Now listen here Pretty Boy, JC has done the best that he could with you Super-Jerks screwing up left and right! You, Sentinel and Accelerate are all power with no fucking brains when it comes to being a team. You may be the son of Aphrodite, but you definitely ain't the son of Athena so don't you dare speak for the entire team like a wise ass! I have a normal family and unlike you this whole mess has completely turned my life upside down. So right now I'm sick of you or anyone else wanting to let their bitch ass attitude fuck up the team more! So put an end to this bitching until this shit is resolved" he said in an infuriated voice. Max didn't care how angry he made the demigod, he was too mad to think his words through and just wanted to vent. He then breathed in and out heavily to calm down a bit before casting his vote.

"I am grateful for Pistolera putting an end to the carnage and giving us a place to escape to in this whole horrid business, but I am voting for JC as leader, he was able to keep focused in a horrible crisis and kept my spirit up in the face of death. That's leadership qualities to me because there's more to being a leader than just thinking about the plan, there's also guiding and caring for the team like family. JC has proved this in my opinion" Max said giving JC a nod. In truth he thought this whole leadership squabble was wasting time, but if they were going to vote then he would vote for who he thought was best to lead the way in this terrible crisis.

He was a little bit surprised that Rhea had voted for Pistolera over JC, but it was her decision and he respected that. Now all that was left was for the others to cast their votes and see who would be sitting in the rough leadership chair. The thought of him being leader had crossed his mind, but right now he couldn't see himself putting up with extra drama at a time like this.

Izu felt anger rise up within him as Seth talked back to him and he clenched his fists. This shinobi seemed to take his words as mere attacks when he was trying to tell him that his attitude would get him killed in battle, but that was how Konoha shinobi tended to act at times. He had endured insane amounts of physical training and bone-breaking sessions with his sensei and team. Through some miracle he kept himself from losing it and getting aggressive, but he was ready to take his anger at Seth to the training field and kick his butt. It seemed that Akio had other plans when he told them that Seth would be staying behind for a little bit longer so that the Jonin could have some words with him.

"We can settle our differences later, see you at the training field" he said to Seth and then followed the others out of the Hokage's office. It looked like Arashi Uchiha had other business to do, Izu didn't mind that, but he was curious to know what the genin's exact reasons for skipping training.

"Since we don't have too long to prepare we must train as hard as possible and try to strengthen our techniques" he said to the others as they started to make their way back to the training field. The thought of training made his mind bring back memories of his early days as a genin and the brutal training he had to go through. There were reasons why Kirigakure had gotten the infamous nickname The Village Hidden in The Bloody Mist, and Izu was proof of it.

What also is a little annoying is why is this character even on a team in the first place? Their personality just doesn't fit the idea of working together with others.

One of OOC's many points is to facilitate random chatter to promote social activity that indirectly keeps people interested, active, and committed. OOC is not just a place to post setting inquiries, Q&A, and character sheets.

Well it gets annoying when the gm tells you to not to talk about stuff you like and then the ooc gets chatter

I get really annoyed when OOCs get swarmed with random chatter and it clutters things. I also really hate it when people make dick characters that seem to be solely made for the sake of being a smart ass douche.

Izu face-palmed when he heard Seth mention about skipping out on training and then ask them what the Hokage had said. This was why Mist ninja were better trained and didn't slack off like Konoha shinobi.

"This is why I don't drink, he said we have a few days to prepare Seth! And if you think that slacking off is going to make ready for this war then you'll be the first to die" Izu said to the leaf Chunin with a stern voice. He honestly couldn't believe that this boy was ahead of him in rank with such a lazy personality. Izu then turned to look at Rin and replied to her question.

"Sure I would definitely love to get some training in and prepare as much as possible for this war" he said to the Hyuga with a smile. It looked like Hayashi Uchiha would also be joining them as well, at least it meant that he would have a chance to see what an Uchiha could do and find ways to outdo them.
