Let's B!tch. I feel it's a healthy release for our roleplay annoyances 2.0

For whatever reason, whenever I join a roleplay with a lot of liberal or atheist characters I almost always make either a religious character or an authoritarian. I guess it's just my sense of wanting things to be balanced.

Another thing I wished was more of a thing on the guild was more variety in politically opinionated characters. Like I always loved superhero roleplays with a lot of clashing political ideologies. A lot of people don't like that, but I find it very entertaining and really humanizes the characters.

One of the things that I often don't like is seeing a superhero or Naruto roleplay and the GM wants you to be very specific when creating a character and limits creativity. I understand wanting to have a rp be a certain way, but my interest in roleplaying is trying to be as creative as possible. That's one of the reasons I don't like canon character roleplays.

Powers: Ram gains his powers from a well of divine energy that resides within him, which grants him several abilities. He has the strength of 9 Olympic strong men and the speed of 9 professional athletes. His body has angel wings, which grant him the power of high-speed flight and excellent aerial agility. His senses are several times stronger than a normal human and he possesses a reaction time that allows him to knock bullets out of the air with his mace, from minor firearms such as pistols and shotguns. His divine energy allows him to sense evil and sin in a mile radius. Ram can also channel the energy into his mace to make extremely hot to those who have sinned. Finally Ram has a slow healing factor that will heal non-mortal wounds after a few hours of rest and the energy that is within him gives him higher resistance to black magic and psychic attacks.

Weaknesses: Silver is almost like kryptonite to him and it will slowly rob him of his strength. His strength has a harder time withstanding hits from pure iron compared to other metals besides silver.
Equipment: His main weapon is a mace that is made of indestructible holy steel and is able to harm demons and other evil beings. He wears leather armor with metal to over him protection from enemy attacks.
Appearance: Ram is six feet tall and has brown skin, which hints at having African heritage. When in costume he has large angel wings that sprout out of his back. He is very well built for his age and has the muscle of someone who could take on a professional boxer.


Personality: Ram is a very religious young man and has a lot of anger in his heart thanks to his tragic childhood. He doesn't like Muslims and Americans who refuse to see the atrocities that have been done against Christians and Jews in the Middle East. Being an immigrant from Israel growing up in the working class neighborhoods of Gotham, Ram learned to be act tough and not let others see his weakness. He has a strong sense of vengeance and justice that he believes should be dealt out to all who sin.

When he received his powers, Ram saw this as a sign from God that he was tasked to bring about proper justice to those who had committed terrible sin against others. Politically he is very authoritarian and supports the establishment if they are doing what is righteous and ridding places like Gotham of sin and crime, but his main authority is that of God. Because of his views he hates left wing politics and those willing to let sin and evil persist in this world.

BRIEF Bio: Ram was born to a catholic family in Jerusalem Israel and life was always tough thanks to Islamic extremists and their terrorist attacks against Christians and Jews. He had witnessed people getting beaten to death on both sides and shootings, which had a bad effect on his psyche and made him feel contempt for the senseless violence. As a little boy he wished that he could find some way to end the violence and bring peace to his nation.

His world would completely change when a bomb attack against a school happened and his mother and young sister were killed in the explosion. Ram had survived thanks to him being in the bathroom before the bomb went off, but his mother and sister weren't as lucky. It was like a horrible nightmare and he screamed in anguish and fury at their death. All Ram remember after that was anger and hate filling his heart. He wanted to have vengeance against the bastards who took his mother and sister from him.

After this horrible tragedy, his father decided to have them immigrate from the country and move to Gotham city in America. Ram didn't want to move away and wanted to stay and fight back, but his father refused. Once in Gotham he felt out of place in the bustling American city and longed to be back home in Israel. But his life would once again have a changing event when he was approached by the Specter the spirit of vengeance with an offer to have a taste of God's wrathful power and see sinners punished. Ram even though he was afraid of the entity accepted the offer and felt great divine power surge within him.

With his new powers Ram took the name Judgement and became a vengeful vigilante with a goal to purify the streets of Gotham and then the rest of the world.

Ram held his mace in hand with a tight grip as he proceeded to crush a man's weapon hand for the purpose of disarming him. The criminal gave a scream of pain as Judgement then elbowed the guy to the ground with a strong hit. This was the first thug he had taken down, who was in the gang that he was trying to stop from distributing their drugs, which plagued the Gotham community. Why were these sinners so willing to partake in such destructive lifestyles? It would have to be men of God such as himself to show them the right path, and it would be a painful lesson.

He knew that they would have heard their companion's cries of pain from his attack, so he would have to stick to the shadows and try to be stealthy. His experience in vigilantism was poor and this was only his second outing as the new hero Judgement, but he would still try to do what he believed was best for all. As he heard the sounds of footsteps coming towards the storage area for the gang's drug plant Ram quickly shot up onto the tall boxes thanks to his wings and made sure to keep low and not expose his position.

Soon three drug dealers came into the large room and had flashlights turned on to look for the source of the scream in the dimly lit area. The light from them soon fell about the unconscious body of the criminal he had taken down. They gave shout, "Shit! We've got company!"

"Do you think it's the Bat?" another thug asked nervously.

"It ain't him, we'd be capture by now, we're either being messed with by a police officer or a newbie hero" a guy who sounded like the leader replied. Ram decided to wait until they were close to try and take them out since they all seemed to have guns. Ram slammed into the first guy with a heavy hit and then clubbed another with his mace. He moved quickly to avoid being shot, but one of the bullets clipped him on the shoulder and felt a bad stinging pain.

This made him angry and using his agility he was able to painfully take out the others in his assault. He was bleed and injured from gunfire, it was time for him to get out of there since he could hear the sirens of the police coming. He weakly flapped his wings and rose into the air as the authorities came and unsteadily flew away. He had won the fight, but he had injured himself in the process and now he would have to rest and let his healing factor slowly repair the damage done to him.

"Please lord, give me the strength to exact proper judgement on sinners" he said to himself as he headed home. If his wounds weren't healed after a long rest then he would have a lot of explaining to do to his father.

Naruto Gaiden: The Will Of Fire!! (AU)

A week had gone by and Izu was trying to improve his ninja skills as quickly as possible. He kept himself from getting too hurt and focused on increases his chakra reserves and developing his jutsu more. He also took mental notes of his spar with Hayashi and tried to figure what would be better for his offensive strategies. Keeping his distance worked out pretty well when he fought the Uchiha, but close range combat would cost less chakra in the long run depending on how used his Earth Spear technique. Speed was the key to outdoing an Uchiha at close ranged combat and he would have to work on that. They were still not the well oiled machine that they were suppose to be, but as long as nothing too difficult went up against them then they would be fine.

It was then that Izu heard Akio voice in his head and he realized that the leaf shinobi was using a mind body technique to speak with them telepathically. He listened to his words and he cursed to himself, they were going after Orochimaru. He may have been a mist ninja, but he knew the tales of the rogue leaf shinobi and his horrible crimes. The man was monster, but Izu wasn't afraid him, it was his teammates that he was worried about. In terms of teamwork they were not ready for such an enemy, together they had possibly had the power to take down, but if they didn't work together properly then it would be much harder of a battle.

"I've never felt this way before... I know it's wrong, but for some reason I'm excited..." Izu heard Arashi say out loud and turned to look at him an 'are you serious?' look on his face.

"I think you're in the minority Uchiha, this is not the kind of first mission that I would want with a new team like this. We'll be lucky if any of us make it out of this alive" he replied to Arashi with a slightly annoyed tone to his voice. He was irritated because while he wasn't afraid to die, his new teammates weren't trained the same way he was and probably wouldn't be as willing to accept death as he did and that would be a big factor in whether they would live or all die.

I like edgy characters. Too much of anything is bad, like everyone being a comedian gets just ridiculous and annoying after a while, trust me when you play D&D boy does it become Monty Python really quickly. I like variety and think that's the best solution. At the end of the day it all comes down to what kind of characters a player likes to create. I do both edgy and non serious characters depending on my mood. I love darkness because it shows the more darker sides of humanity and doesn't get all fluffy, but when I make a funny character I try to keep light unless my character is more fond of dark humor.

Personality: Louis is a very religious man and has an angry view of modern culture, which he views as sinful. He thinks very poorly of sinners and those who mock God and his word. Louis will not back down from a fight with someone who insults his faith. Unlike many, he views the old crusades for what they were suppose to be a symbol of Christians not allowing their enemies to conquer and abuse them. Louis views himself as a new crusader for the church and supports groups that will help spread the word of God to the sinful.

Politically Louis is a huge traditionalist and believes that the old fashion way of handling the family, government and society is the best way for life. He is pro theocracy and supports government funded aid of the poor. While he does respect the sepperation of church and state, Louis believes that religious organizations should be exempt from any form of taxes that support government programs that go against the doctrine of the religion. He also believes that any insult against his religion should be treated no differently than an insult against race, many times has he pointed out the hypocrisy of the leftist movement for condemning racial discrimination and not religious discrimination.

Louis is a family man as well as a man of God. He views God and the Family as two of the most important things in a person's life. He doesn't care how many people hate him for his religious convictions, he stands by his faith and will face their hell fire with steel-hard will. He has a excellent knowledge of the law and tries to expose sinful people through the use of the justice system. To those who don't really know him he is fundamental who hates, but to those close to him he is merely doing what others don't have the will or courage to do.

Background: Growing up as a kid trying to break the mold of stereotypes was not easy. Many black kids in schooled mocked him for acting 'white' as they would call it even though to Louis he was merely acting nice and speaking properly. His family were creoles who had lived in Louisiana since the first French settlers came over three hundred years ago. Louis had always been proud of herritage and his family was devoutly Catholic.

His wise father gave him words of encouragement when he came to him with his issue at school, he said "Now son, all you need to know is that there should only be three things you follow in life, your beliefs, Gods words and your heritage. Everything else is immaterial, your true loyalty is not to your race, it is to God and the family. Those fools in your school have let the sin of pride cloud their minds and they are lost and those who are lost seek to make others become lost with them. You are special my son and God knows it too. You'll be a force for his divine will someday, I know it" It was words like these that made Louis stick with his way of living and stuck by them with religious vigor.

Things got even tougher when his younger sister's friend become the victim of same sex assault, which sparked a clash between the LGBT community and advocates against them. Word spread around about homophobia being in New Orleans and soon protests began to happen. These events would dampen the news of his sister's friend getting assaulted and was used to make attacks against churches and their leaders. Louis was furious and from that point on he vowed to become a lawyer and expose the sinful demons that had rotted America's soul.

His choice was further strengthened when he began finding and talking with others who had suffered from aggression in the LGBT community. Louis experienced first hand what political correctness really did to society and he would fight against it. It wasn't too long into his studies to become a lawyer that he discovered his superhuman ability to control all plant life. He remembered what his father had told him and Louis was certain that this was a sign from God to do his work and purify this world.

When he got the chance to Louis started his journey throughout the USA and used his powers to help those in need of salvation from their sins and the oppression of the devil. In this time he met other Catholics with powers and they all sworn themselves crusaders for the lord and his will. Sinners now had more to fear when they would commit violence or perverseness against the innocent.
