Personality:
Elspeth, much like her sister, has been tainted by the world that has robber her of her life. Elspeth, as a child, was light and friendly, optimistic and naive. However, upon the age of seven, Elspeth's life took a turn and her personality did as well. Forced to make a hard decision, Elspeth's lightness was convoluted until she became cold and ruthless. She lived day to day with no purpose, but instead lived where time never moved for her. Life bored her, but death terrified her. Elspeth became manipulative and cunning, playing with the minds of people in order to get what she wanted. She was selfish and disloyal, only serving her means and always choosing herself over others because of her deep-seated fear of death. However, she is intelligent and reasonable and a powerful ally to have on your side. Despite her barren personality, she retains a small amount of optimism from her childhood.
Skills:
Elspeth is a skilled assassin, well-versed in poisons and lying. However, she lacks in hand-to-hand combat and is horrible at sword fighting. But her most important skill is Elspeth's ability to manipulate others to do what she wishes and her ability at lying through her teeth. When she needs to, Elspeth can become anyone she wants through her persuasive lies.
Biography:
Elspeth Whimbleby does not remember much of her mother, but she does remember her golden hair and beautiful eyes and her crying. Elspeth Whimbleby didn’t understand it then, but she was born an illegitimate child. Her father was a married noble who had seduced her mother and when her mother was pregnant, he paid her to keep quiet. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, Elspeth’s mother accepted the money from him and stayed quietly with Elspeth. Three years after Elspeth’s birth, she met a man and became pregnant with Sabira. His identity is unknown. However, at some point, the girls’ mother became unsatisfied with her life and attempted to make Elspeth’s father take responsibility for his daughter. She wanted him to adopt her, acknowledging her as his daughter, in order to give Elspeth the life she couldn’t give him. When he refused, Elspeth’s mother threatened to expose him to his wife. As a noble, he could not have that and so he hired an assassin and on a dark, rainy night, Elspeth and Sabira became orphans.
Elspeth tried her best to take care of Sabira, stealing to sustain the younger girl and playing on people’s pity in order to provide for them. She became manipulative and a lying thief in order to protect Sabira. However, when Sabira became violently ill, Elspeth felt herself powerless to save Sabira. No medicine that she stole helped Sabira or lessened the three year old’s pain. Elspeth, afraid of watching her sister die and fade away, left her in the middle of the night, believing that Sabira would leave in her sleep. Having abandoned her sister like that, Elspeth was put onto a dark path and as such, her personality became dim and dark, cold and dank; sacrificing her sister paid its toll on Elspeth's personality. Elspeth traveled to a different city in which she made a living through nefarious means, thieving and beating people up to the best abilities a ten year old can. Guilt weighed heavily on her shoulders for leaving Sabira until Elspeth learned to ignore it, pretending that she didn’t care about anyone or anything.
Eventually, a man took notice of Elspeth’s infamy and took her under his wing, training her in the art of assassination. Elspeth failed in many aspects, especially hand-to-hand and swordsmanship, but she showed a prowess in poisons and subterfuge. The man used her as a diversion, mostly, distracting nobles as he killed people of importance – though, sometimes, Elspeth herself had to do the killing by slipping poison into drinks.

Description of Your Future Adult Dragon:
Brynja is a fiercely loyal fire dragon covered in rough, shiny crimson scales. Her face possesses ridges and spikes protrude from her jaw as well as her cheekbones. Two horns curve backwards from her head with three small stubs poking out inbetween. Her yellow, amber eyes are perpetually angry and look relatively small on her medium sized body. Her wings stretch out, powerful and strong, but possessing tears in it from fights. Her strong four limbs have spikes on the shoulder and elbow joints as well as blunt talons. Her spine is lined by tall, thick spikes that travel to the tip of her tail, diminishing in height. Her teeth are small, but needle-like and sharp as well as numerous.
