Ever wonder what it would be like if fairy tales were real? What would they have to deal with in real life? With current events, it is a big leap from the old ball gowns and dresses that we see in Disney movies or on the pictures of story books. If we were to throw Ariel into real life and have her be a normal girl, would her fairy tale still happen? Or would she fall in love with someone completely new? In our current events, would Belle still be a lovable book nerd or considered a hipster?
Fairy Tale Academy, or Midnight Private Academy, is where all fairy tale creatures, from Rumpelstiltskin all the way to Cinderella come, but they are no longer in a fairy tale. They aren't considered princes or princesses, demons or crazy. They are not magical, they are not special, they are just normal teenagers... but will their lives follow the same path? Growing up here in the human world, things are significantly different than that we read in fairy tales. What if these children that have come to this academy are fairy tales brought to life, but something is off... What if their powers were suppressed and they don't know it? Once they figure out why, will it be too late to get them back?

Places of Interest
The Dorms
Each student at the academy must remain in the dorms for the course of the school year. Being a private school, each of the dorm rooms are single rooms, allowing enough space for each of the students to live comfortably. There are two separate dorm buildings, each with sixteen floors, as they encompass all ages of the students that go to the academy. Each floor coincides with the students grade level, the first floor being the first graders and going up through the seniors in college. One is for the girls of the academy and the other is for the boys of the academy. The students can design their room to their liking, painting and covering the walls with whatever art they desire. Each of the rooms are about fourteen feet by twenty feet and come with a built in wardrobe and dresser, with a desk and a few cabinets, and a small refrigerator. An extra long twin is provided as well.
The Grounds
The grounds of the academy are vast. Based in the mountains, the academy has amazing grounds. The grass is kept perfectly neat and green. With broad enough space for children to hang out outside during lunch and any free time they have, the grounds are the perfect place for sports in their free time. The academy grounds have a baseball field, a football field, a track, and an outdoor pool, all open to the students during any free time they have or during lunch. Balls or any form of outdoor entertainment they need can be picked up at the sports counter in the athletic building.
The Academic Building
The academics of this academy are top notch, taught by the best professors that can be provided for. While the school is more focused on literature as a whole, math, science, and history are still taught with the same amount of enthusiasm. The building is four stories, the first focusing on the younger children and limiting the children to one class that covers all subjects, the second focusing on pre-teen children and allowing five classes, and the third floor being for teenage children, who can have as many classes as they can handle, and the fourth floor being for college age students with the same choices as the teens. The academy provides classes for every major, but again, the main focus is English Literature. Teenagers and college age students can manipulate their classes to the times they prefer, while the pre-teen and younger children must go to class at precisely eight a.m. The facilities are clean, polished, and taken care of each night before the children come in.
The Athletic Building
The athletics of this academy are some of the best in the world. Only the teenage and college students are allowed to play on any of the teams competitively, but there are non-competitive teams for the younger children. The teen students have their own set of teams and the college students have their own set. There resides, in the athletic building, a basketball court, an indoor baseball practice area, an indoor pool, an indoor track, a bowling alley, and an archery range. Each of these are open to the students in their free time, provided they have a teacher or adult presence watching over them. Balls may be checked out but must be returned after the free period has ended for the student who checked out the ball. The athletic building is two stories high with the pool and archery range on the bottom floor and everything else on the upper floor.
The Forest
The forest that surrounds the academy is fairly thick, good for the protection of the students. The forest covers all four sides of the academy with a larger mountain path going through it to get to the front of the academy. The forest path can be driven on with cars, but it is not paved as most people would think for such a prestigious private school. Many animals live in the forest and are so used to being around humans most of the time that they come up onto the academy grounds every once in awhile. Trekking through the forest a little bit, a small river can be found that leads to a waterfall and cliff edge that drop off into a large lake that students love to go swimming in.
The Arts Building
The arts building holds the theatre, the practice theatre, as well as the band room, choir room, and multitudes of art rooms. Art students as well as art classes for the younger children at held here. Productions are put on twice a year, with auditions being open to anyone in the school. A majority of the time, this is where the art majors are at, as well as anyone in theatre or band. Many of the music majors spend their time here as well.

@HushedWhispers I'm assuming from that post that you're okay with it... xD Okay that is five for that idea so far... I'm still gonna wait for the other two to see what they say.
Or we could have them grow up as normal kids in the normal world and a curse has blocked their magic from being expressed. Then with a little Once Upon A Time drama and whatnot they find out their magics have been taken and they need to gain them back for safety reasons. (maybe there's a OUAT alike problem approaching them.) With that we wouldn't have mind loss, no backstory problems and a total new world to open up I would also add that those without powers (Rapunzel, Anna, Cinderella, ect) get to choose one power that fits their characters. If they want to.
They are different people. Like, there's never been a fairy tale world version of them. The were born to our world and there is no backstory of them in any fairy tale kind of way whatsoever. There's only one backstory, which is in our world. Yet, all of them, have powers that have been blocked when they were born. Why and how is still open.
That mainly. We're thinking about adding a Once Upon A Time twist to the RP. I like ^^ that idea and I wanted to know what everyone else thought, minus Kahleen who came up with the idea. xD
Just thought I'd update you... I've technically finished the first OOC post, but I'm waiting for insight into Kahleen's idea for the RP before I post if. If it is a go, then I will post it when I get the word. If not, we can figure something out to where everyone is happy. :)
